Fantastic food and fantastic service

Thierry Isambert served not only the greatest food I've tasted at a wedding, but some of the greatest food I've tasted in general. Our guests raved about every single appetizer served at our cocktail hour, and then came back to rave about the corvina and vacio served at the reception. What makes Thierry Isambert so special is that their service transcends the fantastic food. The staff is just incredible, not only to us, the brides, but to our guests -- providing warm, individualized service and responding to various guest requests and needs. I wish I could find another event to throw just so I could hire Thierry Isambert again!

Thierry Always Goes Above and Beyond

Thierry oversaw my wedding - along with my baby shower, my sisters' weddings and countless parties - and they have always gone above and beyond to deliver an unforgettable, elegant, effortless experience. The food is, in my opinion, the best catering in Miami; everyone still talks about how amazing the food was at my wedding. The decor and planning is impeccable and tasteful, they think of and take care of every detail proactively, and are so kind and helpful in the process. I credit all the success to Vanessa Garcia. She is so thoughtful and even sent me a gift when my son was born :)

Incredible food and professional service!

We cannot say enough how amazing the food and service was. We worked with April on our menu and she was so helpful, going back and forth with us on every detail making sure it was perfect for us. On the day of our wedding we got some rain and the staff was so helpful and made sure everyone got served food. The guests could not stop raving about how delicious the food was that I don’t think anyone noticed they had just been rained on! We 1000% recommended Thierry Isambert!

Wonderful experience!

The team at Tierry Isambert Culinary and Event Design delivered above and beyond during our wedding earlier this month, and throughout the wedding planning process! We’ve received so many compliments on the food and service from our guests, and that is entirely due to this amazing team.

We had a very intercultural and intergenerational group of guests at our wedding, and knew that making sure we had amazing food selections for all would be extremely important. That process was made super easy by working with this team, particularly April and the incredible chef we were fortunate to work with.

On top of being extremely talented in the kitchen, this team is also professional, communicative, friendly, accommodating and just a joy to work with. I’m so grateful we were able to partner together for our wedding, and for their important contribution to our special day. Thank you, all! Highly, highly recommend.

Amazing! Look no further, save yourself the time

Simply amazing, the food superb, the presentation gorgeous, the service and care they take is simply the best. First class + all the way. I did tastings with 4 other caterers and looked at a dozen other caterers. They are in a class by themselves. You might pay 10% more then that competitors, but you will get 100% more in every other aspect of their craft. They have perfected it. Hiring them was the best decision I made among the scores of decisions you have to make to put on a memorable wedding.

Amazing!!!

I don't quite know how to express how wonderful it was to work with April during our entire wedding planning process. Thierry Isambert was one of the first vendors that we chose and it seemed like all of the pieces fell into place easily because of that. April and her team completely understood the vibe and aesthetic we were going for and put together an incredible menu and perfect rental options. We had a month-of planner, but, to be honest, I feel like April was more of our full-on wedding planner than anyone else! She's the one we turned to with any questions and she was the one who helped us with any issues that came up outside of catering. She was even able to fix a crisis we ran into the day before the wedding that another vendor caused. It wasn't even her problem to fix, but she spent all morning fixing it for us - and the wedding was even more beautiful for it!

The food was absolutely amazing. I received rave reviews from our wedding guests about the appetizers at the cocktail hour, the amazing SoBe fizz salad, and the Branzino and short rib dinners. The bartenders and waitstaff were also a pleasure. Everyone with Thierry Isambert just added to the magic of our wedding night!

If you're looking for an amazing caterer and a wonderful team of event planners to work with, look no further. Thierry Isambert and April Ymbert, in particular, were fantastic. Thank you for making our wedding day so unforgettable!

Perfection!l They gave us our dream wedding.

Thierry’s catering surpassed our expectations. Our wedding was just what we wanted - a combination of the most beautiful and elegant decor with beautiful and delectable food presentation. I still look at our pictures and am amazed at how beautiful the venue looked. Our guests loved the food and everyone had such a great time. (My friends still compare it to other weddings). If you want the best choose thierry isambert

If you want the best in planning, day of event staff to the amazing menu options don't look anywhere else. Our 185 guests are still talking about the high level attention to details and professionalism of the event wait/bar/chef staff (even working in the rain) and the AMAZING culinary flavors they experienced for an offsite-outdoor wedding. Round of applause to April for guiding us through it all and our several rounds of revision. Highly, highly recommend Thierry Isambert to be your caterer of choice.

In a Class All Their Own

The food they produce has no peer. EVERYTHING they do tastes amazing. Their presentation is gorgeous and my standards are insanely high. The staff is friendly and helpful in achieving the right menu tailored to your specific event. They are a tiny bit more expensive than some of their competitors, but SO WORTH IT. I engaged them to do my son’s wedding, and didn’t even have a tasting when I added in the rehearsal dinner; we just organized a menu and I was even committed to finding a venue just because I wanted their food and style at the event. Every morsel at the wedding tasting and at the wedding was amazing. Impossible to improve upon it. We did a cheese table, 4 international stations for dinner plus a dessert station- and every friend and guest I spoke to after the wedding said the food was fabulous. They also did an incredibly smart thing by assigning one serving person full time to the bride and groom to make sure they ate and stayed hydrated with water. She was so attentive to them and really made a big difference in how much the bride and groom enjoyed the wedding. My advice: Start with them, spend whatever it takes, your friends will not be able to stop talking about it and you will have peace of mind and be really happy.

Wedding Caterer at Vizcaya

Absolutely exceptional!! There were so many choices in Miami and the food experience was one of the most important pieces to our wedding. As soon as we did our tasting and met with the team from Thierry’s Isambert we knew right away that this was the right fit for us. We opted to have some fun with our cocktail hour and go for a family style dinner to try to make it feel more convivial for our guests, from the start, the team completely understood our vision and helped guide us through the process to make menu selections and decisions on timing throughout the night. The attention to detail leading up to the event and the communication was so on point. I work in hospitality events and was very meticulous with the details, but Vanessa and her team were on top of all of it. They captured the changes and executed our vision exactly how we had hoped. I had absolute confidence in the team and they exceeded our expectations. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the food and service was, and that means so much to us. For anyone thinking of doing an event in Miami, especially at Vizcaya Museum where we got married, we would highly recommend using Thierry’s!! You will not have to worry about a thing.

Alexandra from Thierrry's Catering made every step of the planning process feel so seamless and she made sure that our wedding day was perfection! Not one thing went wrong on our wedding day. Perfect service! Catherine and her team from Thierry's Catering went above and beyond for us from the moment we spoke on the phone to the actual wedding day. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the most amazing food they had at a wedding. Mind you, this was a Russian wedding and everyone knows how Russians love and appreciate good food, LOL. This is especially remarkable since our wedding location - Vizcaya Museum and Gardens doesn't have a kitchen and has many restrictions on how things should be done there. Yet, Thierry's catering managed to serve the most delicious meals in the most organized and professional manner. By the way, Russian pirogi that they made (a super cute mini version of my childhood culinary obsession) can only be compared to the ones my grandma used to make. Simply outstanding! I also wanted to mention that Catherine was so much more to us than a representative of a catering company. She helped us think through many details of our wedding, which was extremely helpful since we were planning our event from overseas. Her professional advice on many aspects of our wedding was a true life-saver because of the unique challenges of the location we chose. Bottom line: loved, loved, loved working with this vendor and recommend them to everyone who wants to get the most stress-free service and amazing, unbelievably tasty food.

Thierrys was one of the best decisions we've made for our wedding! The quality, service and professionalism of the team does not come close to any other vendor we looked into. It's far beyond any other competitor. Knowing that catering is probably the most expensive item of the wedding, it was worth every single penny spent without regret! The experience was unbelievable from beginning to end, and the team was extremely responsive and flexible with all [at times] crazy requests we had. They went above and beyond in every single detail from the tasting setup, to the food, the presentation, the attention to the important parties at the wedding... everything!
The best part is that our guests literally RAVED about the food during the wedding and still months after. We've gotten numerous requests from guests about our catering vendor.

We HIGHLY recommend Thierrys to every couple out there!!

My husband and I decided to marry in Miami... yet we both live in Europe. Doing everything long distance can be quite complicated, especially with food... I guess I am also less skilled when it comes to culinary, yet my husband comes from Sicily... where food is a priority...! Though the wedding menu was his main concern, he was too busy to meet up in Miami! Based on his requests, I chose Thierry's: fair value-for-money, top notch food presentation, perfect service, great quality, and of course... amazing food. The price was higher than my initial budget, but lower than some of the "super fancy" caterings (which seemed a bit of a rip-off). They were flexible, professional, and worked around our menu draft until we were sure we had what we wanted. I asked for "creativity"... the chef offered us a fantastic "cloche" salad - served french-style, table by table... with its "magic smoke", edible colorful flowers...! Our cocktail hour had amazing hors d'oeuvres, included stations (sushi, crepes, crudo bar, mediterranean), our desserts incl. chic petit-fours, a chocolate fountain, and an ice cream station... our guests were simply amazed on the food and service! Absolutely impeccable. We had a last minute tasting for my husband (few days before the wedding), just so we were sure it was all as he had hoped for. Words are useless to describe it. This review is long overdue (got pregnant on my honeymoon and now blessed with a baby boy) but I have to give great thanks to Thierry’s amazing team (particularly Alex Lipin, Catherin Vallin, and Monica Don), who helped to make my fairytale wedding come true. I got married at the Versace Mansion on Oct 9, 2015 and as hectic as it was; this team, especially the event coordinator (Alex), helped it run effortlessly. Planning a wedding is super stressful and it will most likely be the most expensive one-day event you’ll ever have. However, this team helped relieve that stress by being attentive, accommodating, and professional during the whole process. Their food not only taste absolutely scrumptious but the presentation is stunning as well. The tasting experience was phenomenal, my husband and I really enjoyed that meeting…yummy! I would not only recommend them to everybody but I would also use their exceptional services again.

Thierry was wonderful to work with. We did a home wedding, and they were extremely professional, everything was set up and cleaned up quickly and efficiently and their food was incredible. Catherine Vallin and the Thierry's team were a huge part of making our wedding an incredible, magical, memorable success in Miami on October 8th. From day one, Catherine was responsive, proactive, had wonderful suggestions, and worked within our budget. She listened to our ideas for the menu, gave wonderful suggestions that fit within our vision, incorporated the menu feedback we provided at the tasting and had the team make minor tweaks accordingly. We even had a dedicated server making sure we, the bride and groom, had everything we needed throughout the reception, from cocktails to hors d'oeuvres to cake and full plates of the amazing food at dinner.

All of our guests could not stop raving about how excellent Thierry's food quality, taste, and service was. We planned our own wedding so were very cognizant of costs, but we knew one area where we could not get away with "DIY"-ing was service. This was the biggest line item for our wedding budget but was absolutely, positively worth every penny. The lines were never long at the food stations or at the bars, service was seamless throughout the entire evening, and no detail was overlooked by Catherine and her team.

We're incredibly impressed with how operations run at Thierry's - in fact, I so enjoyed working with Catherine that I referred her to my office for an upcoming work-related brunch in December. I'm confident her team will bring their A game once again.

Thank you Thierry's and Catherine for making our big day more perfect than we could ever have imagined. If you are looking for caterers look no further - Thierry Isambert has been in the business so long for a reason!

The best in Miami. We visited two other highly rated caterers, and Thierry's not only has the best tasting food, but the presentation, inventiveness, and quality is the highest there is. Alex & team were the professional partners we needed to pull off our reception at Deering, even going above & beyond to help suggest lighting & flow of events for the guests. They were there for us every step of the way, from planning, to walk through to the end if the reception. Your caterer is one of, if not, THE most important vendor for a wedding reception, and our expectations were high... Not only did Thierry's meet our expectations- they exceeded them. We used Thierry's for our daughters wedding at the Cruz Building in Coconut Grove , Florida in April, 2016. I asked my husband to do the review and he said " they are a top notch catering service and that I should rate them 5 Star". Since I know brides and her parents appreciate more detail, I am adding this to his opinion.
I knew Thierry's would be our caterer the moment I met this group of people and tasted their exceptional food. Thierry is not an absentee owner, he attended every tasting and was in the kitchen making sure every last detail was accomplished. He came over to the table and greeted us and the bride and groom and made himself very visible in case there was a problem. The chef is over the top talented and inventive and I was amazed how flexible to the many changes we made to the menu. We chose to use outside vendors for the cupcake tower, which was done by a friend, and we had a special grooms cake shipped from Charleston, all accepted without question. Trust me, this is important because things will come up that you do not anticipate like food allergies or vegans and he just adapted the menu as we went along. All the appetizers were unique and presented beautifully. We had a sit down dinner and had filet that you could cut with your butter knife. The salad was so original it's posted numerous time on social media. To this day, we have people raving about the food. All the servers were very polished and professional and their work was flawless.
Ask for Alex, who is the wedding coordinator. He is amazing and I can't tell you what a pleasure it was working with him. He calls and emails back promptly and always left me with peace of mind that what I envisioned would happen, which it did to perfection. He was very poised, professional and always respectful of my budget. He even surprised me with extra things that really blew me away. He's a 6 star. Use this company in confidence....flawless..

Thierry's catered our wedding last weekend at Vizcaya Garden & Museum and everything was absolutely delicious! They custom created the menu to fit our needs. It was a gastronomical delight. From the appetizers, to the main entrees, the warm bread rolls and the request of flower shaped butter, everything was absolutely WONDERFUL! They went above and beyond. Thierry's was amazing. The food was delicious and everyone got their plate piping hot. The presentation was gorgeous and consistent. My regret is not having more hor d'oeuvres at my wedding. The tasting was delicious as well. They came dressed professionally. When one of the votive candles toppled over and broke the server taking care of the royal table whisked away the shards and everything was cleared and setting reset in minutes.

After searching Miami for the perfect caterer for our wedding, our Planner Melissa from Luxurious Events introduced us to Alex and the team at Thierry's Catering. It was a great pleasure to work with Alex and his team from tasting to the wedding day.

One of the things that my husband and I love to do together is cook. Being foodies, we really wanted to make sure that the quality of food that we served on our wedding day was something that we would serve to dinner guests at our home and also something we would want to eat. The Thierry's team truly delivered with our menu from start to finish. We have friends who are still telling us that it was the best wedding food they have ever had!

We had heard some horror stories of caterers who WOW'd you at the tasting and just couldn't deliver on the big day. This was in NO WAY the case with Thierry's. Every single guest received a perfectly cooked, medium-rare churrasco and the presentation of all the food was impeccable. This was most definitely not an easy feat for 190 guests with food being made there on-site.

We were so impressed with your level of execution, customer service and presentation.

Thank you Alex and team for everything you did to make our wedding so perfect. We hope to work with you again in the future and will most definitely sing your praises to all those who will listen.

Thierry’s is ABSOLUTELY the BEST caterer + design team in Miami!! My fiancé and I worked with Alex Lipin and the entire Thierry’s team for our December Vizcaya wedding, and they put together the most magnificent night we have ever seen. From the very beginning, working with Alex was so easy. We had met a number of the Vizcaya-recommended caterers during our planning process, and as soon as we met Alex, we knew we were going with Thierry’s. The food at our tasting was BEYOND amazing, and since we were out-of-towners planning a wedding from many states away, we loved that Alex had a ton of wonderful suggestions for florals (Emilie Hanoon), lighting, furniture rentals, etc. Other than our amazing photographer and DJ, Thierry’s pretty much helped select all of our vendors. We were really happy to be working with a team that 100% knew what type of event we wanted. During the entire planning process, everyone at Thierry’s was extremely responsive and never once said ‘no’ to any request we had. Fast forward to the actual wedding day. My fiancé and I were walking around with our photographer, and we couldn’t get over how gorgeous everything looked that was getting set up. The attention to detail was unlike anything I’ve seen before. The actual wedding was about 10x more gorgeous than we could have imagined, thanks in no small part to Alex. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the entire night was. We basically cannot say enough wonderful things about Alex and the entire Thierry's team! We are so happy we chose them, and you should too!

Thierry's was fantastic! We loved working with them for our wedding. The coordinator, Alex, was very flexible and so easy to work with. We wanted to provide our guests with a lot of variety and options for the food. Thierry's came up with a menu and set-up that did exactly that (folks could choose from 6 different appetizers and like 12 things from food stations during the reception). The food was incredible! High quality, well prepared and delicious. We received tons of compliments throughout the night and after the wedding. Multiple times I had people tell me it was the best wedding food they had ever had, and that it wasn't like typical wedding food. Someone even asked if it was a restaurant they could go to to eat again. All the staff throughout the night were great, very friendly and attentive. It was a great experience, thank you Thierry's (and especially Alex)!

Earlier this month we celebrated our wedding at the Bath Club in Miami Beach. We spent a great deal of time interviewing a number of different vendors for the event and ultimately chose Thierry, after they graciously allowed us to do a tasting, before we had even committed to using them for the wedding. Our choice was dead on – the professionalism that their catering manager and staff exhibited throughout the event was unsurpassed.

We did not one, but two tastings, one with me and my fiancé and one with my parents at a later date. Alex (catering manager) paid careful attention to our concerns, graciously agreed to prepare an additional course that we were considering and took careful notes to make sure all of our requests were carried out. He offered cheaper, but equally delicious options, to keep the final cost within budget and was very accommodating when it came to last minute additions. We had a pleasant chat with the executive chef, who took time out of his jammed packed schedule to sit with us and walk us through menu options. We all left very comfortable with our choice.

Our choice proved right beginning with the cocktail hour and ending with the midnight snack. As we circulated during the cocktail hour, our friends and family greeted us with hellos and congratulations, followed by compliment after compliment on the food. From the lamb chops, to the ceviche, to the octopus salad, there was not a single item that wasn’t perfect. I am from a big Italian family, filled with a lot of “tough critics”, food is very important to us…and Thierry’s team did not disappoint.

Dinner was tastefully prepared, artfully presented and quickly served by a very attentive waitstaff. We continue to receive calls from guests who want to relive the evening and the food always comes up in the discussion.

Everything about the food and service at our wedding exceeded my expectations.

Being in the Restaurant Business myself, I definitely was better off with general Catering knowledge more so than the average "Joe." I spoke with many different caterers, but being from Michigan, I was only able to narrow my choices down to only a couple, due to trip costs.

Thierry's Catering by far was the best choice, and I'm so happy that we chose them. The food was amazing, as well as the presentation. My guests not only raved about the food and presentation, but also the service. Thierry's staff worked extremely hard, and went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was just that....AMAZING!

Alex was a pleasure to work with over at Thierry's and always answered my questions promptly.

Your guests will not forget any aspect of your wedding that Thierry's Catering was involved in. It has been several weeks and I am still getting calls on the quality of the food and service at my wedding. If you want something unique with a guarantee on quality, you need to spend time with their staff and let them share their expertise. We have already engaged them for another family wedding in August. I cannot wait to be a guest and see their amazing work once more. There was nothing I can point out other than to say that the food and service was just extraordinary. They have A players on their staff which is evidenced by the quality of all their services. They also work with your budget which is great. There is no comparison in what they will deliver though. Everything they prepared was far beyond my expectations.

There is only one word I would sum Thierry's Catering up with and that would be AMAZING!!!!! From the first time I spoke to Alex Lipin our representative at Thierry's it was like I became part of the Thierry's family. I feel like I am pretty picky person since I work in the restaurant industry. After five different tastings with different catering companies at the end Thierry's blow all the other competition out of the water. I was looking for a floridian/ spanish infused entree to keep the miami feel. They were able to create exactly what I was looking for. I did not want my guests to have what every wedding usually has to offer. The duet entree they created was a delicious Filet Mignon in a red florida citrus-infused demi glazed and chilean sea bass topped with a black bean mango salsa accompanied by caribbean root mash in a mariquita ring and grilled island vegetables brushed with a papaya butter. After our first tasting they tweaked it a little bit and it was then a prefect creation; from the appearance, to the taste, down to the temperature of the beef. (IT WAS JUST AMAZING) and on our wedding day it came out exactly like the tasting. Now to tell you about the other stuff they have to offer. Like I said I am picky person and wanted my guests to have a little something out of the norm so they came up with a few unique stations. First was the nitrogen martini bar where my martini's where smoking. Then the nitrogen molecular dessert station which was a big hit with the adults and kids. Also the sunny side Mangos which look like really eggs sunny side up but taste like mangos they were absolutely delicious. Also the tapas station during the cocktail hour to tie in the spanish flare. All the other things that Thierry's has to offer, from the fine china, to different style chairs, even linen choices make you feel like a kid in a candy store. As for the service well Thierry himself hands down needs to get a metal in this department. This company definitely knows exactly how much staff they need to make your event run smoothly with no wait for drinks or food. All staff was well trained and very attentive to me and my guests and because of Thierry's I definitely had the platinum wedding of my dreams. We also want to thank Thierry, Alex and the staff for the job they did and we will definitely be using then for future events. The only down side is I feel like I lost a family now that my wedding is over. Thanks Again Guys and keep up the great work.

If you are looking for the best cater in Miami you are in the right place. My family has done 3 events with Thierry's Catering one at the Bath Club, a corporate event in Vizcaya and the latest one at the Kampong. All of the three events were flawless and all the guests still remember how fantastic the food was. Thierry's attention to detail makes any host look amazing! If I could give this vendor 10 stars, I would. They were incredible, and their food was out of this world. We had sea bass and filet for dinner, and those are just two of the things our guests are still talking about. Their cocktail hour menu was also incredible!!! Don't use anyone else.

My family has used Thierry's Catering in 2 different occasions and we have very much enjoyed their food and service. Their food was of excellent quality and presentation!!! I have studied culinary arts and understand the difficulty in preparing and serving food for a large amount of people at a time and they really did an excellent job. If you're a foodie and/or looking for a memorable meal and dining experience at your wedding, there is no better caterer or event service than Thierry Isambert. You will eat the MOST DELICIOUS MEAL on the best day of your life. The standard and quality of food was unmatched and literally blew past already high expectations (expectations that they set themselves at our fabulous food tasting!). I've had guests gush to me about our cocktail hour appetizers and dinner since our wedding. Many of my guests have said it was the best dinner they'd ever had at a wedding. The servers were attentive, polite, and thorough in meeting all of our requests and instructions for setup. They even offer amazing alternatives to boring buffets or served sit-down dinners... we went with the Plancha open top grill service. The food was fresh, cooked to order, and the experience was entertaining for everyone. I was also thankful that at no point did their team pressure me to spend more than what our budget allowed. They not only put together the menu we most wanted for our wedding within our budget, but they also offered solutions that didn't diminish the quality or value of our food service when cost was a barrier. I work in event planning myself, and have never worked with a catering group that showcased more impeccable customer service and high quality food. Did I mention how delicious their food is? It's incredible and you won't regret your choice. Hands down, go with Thierry's team!

Food that exceeded expectation!

I knew I wanted to work with Thierry when we had our food tasting because it was restaurant quality food/service which is difficult to find in a catering company. I have to say that they knocked it out of the park for our wedding on all elements - everything was exactly as we tasted it prior - the quality of preparation, the temperature of the food, the presentation and the service were incredible. Even though this level of service and quality come at a price tag, I think it is absolutely worth it. I would both recommend Thierry and would work with them again. Many of our wedding guests quoted that this was the best food they had ever had at an event.

From the first communication with Catherine and Thierry Isambert's team, I knew I wanted them to cater my wedding. She was professional, thoughtful, and took all of my ideas into consideration. The tasting at their facility was delicious, beautiful, and perfectly designed around our wedding theme/ideas - I booked them on the spot. As with any large-scale catering service, I was a little worried that the food wouldn't be as amazing the day of the wedding as it was during our tasting, but I was so wrong to worry. Everything was exactly as delicious, beautiful, and professional the day of the wedding and the Thierry team completely exceeded my expectations. Catherine and the entire team were amazing from beginning to end. They worked with our budget. We wanted very specific Indian food options and a mixture of live action stations, everyone is still talking about the food about a month later! The only issue was at the end of service, they did not serve coffee/tea to all the guests. People had to ask for it which wasn't what we expected since we paid for that service for each person. But I would recommend them for each and every event, food is AMAZING!

Again, the flowers were above and beyond anything we could have imagined and much much more glamorous and grandiose than we had agreed upon. They put the most intricate and elegant detailed touches to their work and made us feel comfortable throughout the day and night. I was also very impressed by how professional and on-top-of things the entire Thierry staff really was. Alex and Emily are master planners and we couldn't have imagined going with anyone else! We truly wanted our food and drink to stand out at our wedding, and Thierry's delivered! We went with a non-traditional menu that included a cheese table, sorbet station and cupcake station, and Thierry's delivered this in addition to the salad and the main course with aplomb. In addition to being delicious, everything was beautiful.

To top it off, their staff was wonderfully attentive--I didn't get my own drink or dessert for the entire night! We couldn't have been happier with Thierry's.

Thierry's is a "First Class" Catering Company. The quality and selection were amazing. We chose to do 'stations' of food, and it was a great choice for our wedding. Our guests told us how much they enjoyed the food - especially the boneless beef short ribs! Catherine was a pleasure to work with! She was pleasant and flexible and came to the rescue when we realized we were missing 'dinner napkins' an hour before the wedding. I would definitely recommend them.

My husband and I got married in October 2018 in Fort Lauderdale, and Thierry Isambert came highly recommended through some friends in the restaurant industry. After our initial tasting, we new there was no need to look elsewhere. Their commissary facility, organized tasting appointments, and professional and detailed service are a testament to their long history as a successful caterer, and is well worth the money.

Catherine and her team were professional, experienced, and had creative solutions for all of our requests. They worked with us to serve charcuterie from a friend's company, wine from our own purveyor, and choosing the right serving platters so it matched our decor. Over the course of months of planning, there was a lot of correspondence to keep track of, but there wasn't a beat missed on our wedding day. We had record rainfall on the date of our outdoor wedding (how fun) and they adjusted seamlessly.

Our guests raved about the food, service, and hospitality the team provided. Despite the heat and rain, the servers were friendly, helpful, and moved swiftly to make sure our dinner and dessert set up was perfect. The only disappointment was that when clearing tables a few wedding favors got cleared, too!

Overall, we loved working with Thierry Isambert, and their level of professionalism was so evident and appreciated. We've personally recommended them to friends getting married in the area, and would absolutely work with them again.

Thierry's Catering catered & provided equipment rentals for our wedding. Let me start by saying the food was excellent, the seafood was really great. However, If you ONLY care about the food showing up & tasting great then they are worth consideration. Unfortunately, the food was not good enough to outweigh the absolute worst customer service. I had considered many companies before choosing them & I wish I had used someone else. They had a year to organize everything they needed & yet somehow managed to under-deliver & lie the days leading up to & following our wedding. The first few interactions were fine, they provided a contract & feedback when they said they would, unfortunately everything else after the signed contract was far from favorable. There were weeks that went when I had to call and email and call and email with my questions... without ANY response. I had to ask multiple times for all of the information any professional, reputable company should provide without needing to ask repeatedly, i.e. how long will it take you to set up, what time do you plan on arriving, how long will it take you to tear down & pack up, when will you be picking up the equipment etc. I could write in detail about the items they were dishonest about beginning two days prior to my wedding. They did not provide the wine or beers in the contract, did not pick up the rental equipment when they said they would, and lied on the phone about picking up my wedding cake (luckily I had an amazing, honest bakery I was working with).Needless to say, if you want to have any event with a company that is dishonest, will not compensate you for mistakes & tell you after the fact that things just sometimes 'slip through the cracks' then by all means use them.I really really wish I had not. The staff onsite was friendly (although some of my items did go missing...)it is just the poor management, dis-organization & lack of ethics from them that leads me to encourage everyone to use another comp.

Bad experience planning with them

This was not the best experience. Working with them leading up to my wedding was awful. They never respond to emails, are not clear with information and pricing and I probably worked with 5 different people within a 7 month Persian because they have such a high employee turnover rate. Also if your not spending hundreds
If thousands of dollars on your wedding then you are really an afterthought for them and they make you feel like your not worth there time. There food and service at the wedding was very good but I’m not sure it was worth all the headache , hassle and hidden costs that they start charging you as you get closer to the wedding and really have no other option.

Wedding turned Nightmare

In November 2021 ( Nov 16 to 22) we went to celebrate the long awaited wedding of our son from Toronto to Miami as both my son and daughter-in law were working relentlessly for the last two years helping Covid patients in New York Hospitals. A lot of effort was put in the planning and finding the right vendors as Indian weddings are elaborate and on top of it both sides of the families were not local . We wanted to do the best we could for this wedding which was last for our family and first for the Bride’s family. Thierry was referred to us as one of the highly professional catering company by our event coordinators in Miami. We selected them after the tasting, trusting that they will be able to deliver what they promised although they were more expensive than their peers. We contracted them for all out major events to cater including , pre-wedding event on 19th of November, wedding lunch on the Nov. 21 and reception on 21st evening. We worked very hard to select the best menus for each event. Spent a lot of time discussing with them each menu item, flavors and the upgraded table settings. Paid them in advance based on our estimated numbers of guests. All the events were to be buffet style.
Guests came from all parts of United States, Canada and India. Wedding Priest was flown over from Canada.

Thierry failed us to our utter disappointment and disbelief on the very first event on Nov. 19th , where the guest count was almost 25% less than expected. They ran out of food half way through the event. Both sides of families including bride and the groom did not get to eat along with several other guests. We were extremely embarrassed in front of our guests as this is never expected or accepted. They had no responsible person at site to support us or listen to us at the event .

When we complained , they had the audacity to say that the guests ate more than they had anticipated , but assured us that it will not happen again.
However the wedding day on the 21st was worse. They were supposed to serve welcome snacks and drinks to the wedding procession when they arrived , but did not do so. The post ceremony lunch, was even worse. Not only they did not serve the items that were decided on the menu and whatever was served arbitrarily was so short in quantity that the food finished before even 40 to 50 people could eat out of 120 people ( we had paid for 150 guests) . Even the wedding priest did not get the food besides our families and guests. We panicked and tried to contact Thierry but no one from their organization was available to even talk to us.
The most important event of our children’s lives and our lives turned into a nightmare of embarrassment and shame which we can never recover from.
