    One Word: Amazing

    Heather is AMAZING!!! She helped me every step of the way answering my million-and-one questions. I gave her very little direction with my décor, and she made the ceremony and reception space come to life. She is the best in the business! She knows the flow of a wedding and what works/doesn’t work. Wonderful working with my vendor team! She mastered each and every detail.

    Heather was wonderful with helping us on our search for the best wedding team! We are from Ohio and were worried about all the details, however Heather was very calming and helpful! She was always willing to help answer our questions no matter how small and kept us on top of the next step. She was available on our timing and by all methods (phone, email or text) and we appreciated this very much! We provided many items for the reception and your set-up was Perfect, better than we had envisioned it! We can't thank you enough for all of your hard work and assistance with making our wedding day as perfect and special (stress free) as possible!

    A Premiere Event was such a pleasure to work with when planning our wedding. Planning from NY was a breeze because Heather and her team are experts and such professionals.     After reading so many wonderful reviews about A Premiere Event on WW, we hired Heather to be our Day Of Coordinator for our September 2015 wedding. (Yes, this review is long overdue!!) My husband and I had thought we could plan our wedding ourselves, but after guidance from past bride/groom friends, and realizing that we did not want to be running around stressed on our wedding day, we decided to hired a Day-Of Coordinator. We are so glad we did and we are so glad that we found Heather!!!

    Heather was wonderful to work with and offered us so much help, beyond what I expected or anticipated from a day-of coordinator. We were planning our wedding from Brooklyn and Heather helped us with all of our vendors, reaching out to them when I had questions, etc. We were able to meet Heather in person and she gave us so much wonderful advice during our first meeting, I truly felt she had our best interests at heart. She was a calming factor at the rehearsal and at the wedding, especially dealing with my loud, talkative family who doesn't listen well (!!). We also had a mishap with the votives we ordered and she was able to fix that DURING our ceremony. From start to finish, we highly recommend Heather for Wedding Planning.

    We contracted Heather Clark, owner of A Premiere Event, as the Day of Coordinator for our daughter's wedding. She was a perfect choice and helped to execute a flawless wedding day on April 25, 2015. Alongside Heather, her assistant Laura Tillett brought both a sense of organization and calmness to all involved. The timeline was adhered to perfectly. Heather asked us not to wear a watch the day of because she said she needed to be in charge of the time. She perfected time. At exactly 5:00 the ceremony began. This was just the beginning to an evening that flowed seamlessly. With no reservations, I recommend A Premiere Event as a superb wedding planning organization. Thank you Heather and Laura for allowing us to enjoy this special celebration knowing all details were handled with professionalism and compassion.

    If you're looking for a wedding planner, you've found her. Heather is super easy to work with and has amazing ideas. Sometimes when I felt completely lost, she provided all the info and ideas I needed to get me back on track and keep me sane. I LOVED everything she put together and would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking!

    Heather Clark did an outstanding job in helping us plan our Outer Banks wedding from Pennsylvania and in coordinating our wedding day. We were only able to visit the Outer Banks twice before our wedding day, but due to Heather setting up vendor appointments for us we managed to talk to a number of different people and when we made our choices we felt confident that they were the right ones. She came out to our fairly remote location for our rehearsal and for the wedding and made sure that everything was set up perfectly and went off without a single problem. We also used Heather's Heather's Salon, Dimensions, for the hair and make-up of the wedding party. Ashley and Michelle were personable, professional, and very talented and made all of us look and feel beautiful. Thank you to Heather and her team for helping to make our wedding day all that we dreamed it would be!

    Heather is AMAZING!!!! We do recommend to get a wedding coordinator/planner for your wedding. Heather and her assistant ran the day flawlessly! We had a beach ceremony and as soon as I was about to go to the beach, it started to rain :(. But Heather was so calm and asked me what I wanted to do becuase she would do whatever. I made the decision to pull all the guest off the beach and have the ceremony in the tent and as soon as I said that she went to work. She got all guest back to the tent in less than 15 mins and then everything was on track again. We didnt worry about anything the whole day and espcially during the reception, Heather and her assistant took care of everything. We would defiantely recommend Heather to anyone looking for a fantastic individual that cares about her job and utimately you during your speical day!!

    Heather is a pro at what she does and she put her heart and soul into helping us have the perfect wedding day! Even though we only contracted Heather for wedding day coordination, she answered countless emails and phone calls and met with me in person beforehand to work out all of the intricate details. She is so professional and so personable.
    The weather was terrible on our wedding day so at the last minute we made the call to move the ceremony indoors. Heather executed everything flawlessly and her and her assistant handled all of our guests , vendors, and all of the logistics. It was so flawless that you couldn't even tell that our ceremony wasn't supposed to be indoors in the first place! Heather didn't miss a SINGLE detail and our wedding was more beautiful, and perfect, than I could ever have imagined.
    I am extremely organized, but I still don't know what we would have done without her! She is worth every penny, and more!

    Heather was a lifesaver! At first my husband and I thought we could do all of the day of coordination stuff ourselves, but the more we got into it we realized we needed some help. We saw a ton of great reviews on Heather and her team so we decided to reach out to her and a few other people to see if we could get some help - and let me tell you, Heather was the DEFINITE winner! She was so professional and very precise in what she needed to help us make our day everything we wanted it to be! I met her the day of our rehearsal and I felt immediately 100% confident that everything was going to happen the way I wanted it to because Heather was so helpful. From helping my crazy wedding party figure out where we were standing on the beach to putting together bouquets to making sure everything was on schedule, Heather was on point the whole time. This was definitely the best decision we made when choosing to hire someone to help with coordination. THANK YOU HEATHER!

    My mother and I did a great deal of the wedding planning, but we agreed that hiring a wedding (day-of) coordinator was a MUST! We met with a few and knew right away that Heather Clark at A Premier Event would be a perfect fit! She's professional and organized, and a tough cookie originally from NY to boot! She's dealt with all sorts of things at weddings and handled them like a pro!

    Heather and her staff were instrumental in the organization of the rehearsal and timeline for the wedding ceremony and reception. Heather was very flexible in setting up last minute meetings to nail down details when I was in town, which was greatly appreciated. She made sure that all of the vendors were on the same page, especially the DJ, florist, caterer, and photographers. The ceremony procession went very smoothly, as did all of the introductions at the reception, timing of the cake-cutting and dances, and speeches. She was very attentive and came over to me throughout the night to see if it was a good time to do these things. I appreciated the fact that she did that, because weddings can go in so many directions and I think it's important to be able to adapt and change with the mood of the evening. She did a great job at that. When there was an issue with the tent take down time, she politely pulled me aside to get more information and then took care of it.

    Overall, I was very happy with Heather and her staff. I am sure it is difficult to come into a wedding where the mother of the bride and the bride have already done so much of the work, and then try to do your job, but Heather handled it like a pro! She really helped to make our wedding day a fabulous celebration with our friends and family!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH HEATHER!!!!

    There is not enough words to express how I feel about Heather. From the first time I spoke to her over the phone I knew she was amazing person. She was honest, relieable and trustworthy. I could not imagine the day going any smoother without her and her team! From the begining I knew Heather would not of been there the day of the wedding but she had two assistants that would help me the day of and if they weren't the nicest ladies to work with. Heather help me puts my ideas together and kept me focused on what needed to be done. She gave me recommendations and it was very fun to work with her. When she said something I just knew she knew what she was talking about and I went with it. Heather is truely amazing and terrific at what she does which is make dreams come true! I met with a couple of planner but only Heather fit what I was looking for and she did an amazing job! I would HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Heather and her wonderful staff at A Premiere Event!

    Heather was wonderful! She coordinated for us to meet as many vendors as possible while we were vacationing in OBX in August 2010, as well as assisted with scheduling phone calls once we were back home in NJ. She knew my time constraints due to the birth of our child in February (and the wedding in June). She went above the 'call of duty' to help get us information as well as a physicians assistant for our special needs baby to help ensure she would be well cared for and allow us to enjoy our wedding reception knowing she was being taken care of. I strongly recommend Heather to anyone planning their wedding in OBX!

    My husband and I live in Northern Virginia and knew we needed somebody who could be more hands on with the vendors and on location as needed. Hiring Heather was one of the best things we did throughout the whole wedding process. She had great suggestions and was so organized that neither my husband, nor I had a worry in the world the day of our wedding. She was also extremely helpful in keeping us both calm when Hurricane Earl was slated to hit the outer banks just one week before our wedding and assured us if necessary she would change our locations and get everything back on track for us in one short week! Thank goodness that never happened and the hurricane missed but even during that stressful period of uncertainty Heather was able to help keep us on track for our big day- and remain calm! She was great at coordinating all people involved, the vendors and the general timeline. She also did my hair and makeup- I looked like a model! Her salon, Dimensions, did the hair of my mother, aunt and all the girls in the wedding. Needless to say that their hair was beautiful as well. All around wonderful planner and such a joy to work with! Would recommend her to all - hands down!

    I would totally recommend A Premiere Event. We couldn't have pulled it off without them. We only had six weeks to plan a destination wedding and we relied heavily on their expertise and contacts in the area. The actual day went very smoothly as they took care of most of the details in advance. On the day of the event, they were there to take charge of any last minute details (like trying to find champagne after my sisters drank a few of the bottles). They have a very strong work ethic and know their business.

    Heather was wonderful! We had trouble finding an event home and she worked long and hard trying to find one for us and was willing to look at them for us to let us know if they would work. She kept us on schedule both during the planning and during the wedding and reception as well. We had the wedding on the beach and it looked as if it were going to rain. We planned to have the reception on the deck of our rental home and when we got back she had moved all of the furniture around and set up the whole event inside. It did rain during the reception, but she and others made the right decision holding it inside. It was beautiful! I am not sure how I would have done it without her. She even did my daughter's (the bride's) hair and it looked beautiful. She was very accomodating and easy to work with. Thank you Heather!

    This vendor thought of everything for my day of coordinating. She was familiar with all of my other vendors and had no difficulty contacting them and organizing everything for my day of. She was very organized and concise and everything was done to perfection. I had no idea of the set up of our venue and how to make the wedding set-up flow, but after telling Heather my ideas, she incorporated everytihng that I wanted and more. She was great and I would highly reccomend her for not only her planning services, but also for hair. Heather did my hair for the big day and did a fantastic job! It looked just as beautiful at the end of the wedding as it did in the beginning-- even in the 101 degree heat! I would highly recommend A premier event to anyone thinking of getting married in the area!

    I absolutely recommend using A Premiere Event. My husband and I were planning a wedding in Corolla, NC and we live in Northern Virginia. Not being a native of that area, it was really helpful to have someone with some experience and knowledge of the area (and industry). We used the Day Of services, but what we got was so much more. Heather was so helpful throughout the entire process. As we were deciding on which vendors to use, Heather would share her recommendations with us. Sometimes you really just don't know which vendors will live up to their promises...and it was helpful to have someone who know the ins and outs. We never once felt like she really pushed us towards a certain vendor, but rather she listened to what we wanted and was able to guide us that way. Most of our communication was done via email, and Heather was always quick to respond. It really set our minds at ease. I also might add that she also was such a great help in determining the amounts of plates, dishes, linens, tables, etc we needed to get for under the tent (we were married at the Whalehead Club - all outdoors!). I would have been lost without her. Heather also developed our time line for the day. I would not have had a clue what to do when. She was there for rehearsal, and even supervised set up of the tent. The day of, Heather made sure we were on schedule (and worked with it if we weren't). We can't thank her enough for making our wedding run so smoothly. We highly recommend working with her!!!

    Heather was great when it came to crunch time. I just thought when you hired a wedding planner for the day of your wedding only, they would do most of the decorations, tables, flowers etc. Our groomsmen and groom helped a lot and lifted the heavy stuff, dug holes, decorated, etc. Overall, it was a great wedding once we look back at the pictures.

    I just want to start off by saying that I feel bad about writing this review but I do want to help other brides out. My mother hired A Premiere Event for day of services which included rehearsal dinner as she didn't want us to worry about anything besides getting ready that day. Heather Clark was excellent up until she was unable to attend our day. She had a passing in her family which I felt really bad about yet I wasn't really concerned as she seemed to have it all under control. Her assisstant contacted me reassuring me that she would take care of everything. She was not there for the rehearsal and on the day of our wedding she was bombarding me with questions. Even our other vendors felt bad for us and told us that Heather would have never allowed this. My husband ended up setting everything up and directing everyone. He was absolutely amazing as he wanted to give me the day that I envisioned. She ignored warnings of rain and set everything up outside. Well it rained all over everything and my guests were running outside to try and salvage things. We had to move everything inside which took a lot of time and messed up the flow of our whole day. I gave it a couple of weeks to call Heather as she was mourning the loss of her grandmother and while she was very apologetic she did nothing to compensate for the services that were clearly not rendered out in the contract. She is a very nice person but we would have done better without their services and saved $1500.
