I worked at a venue with many wedding planners, and after working with Michelle on the vendor side of a wedding, I knew she would be the best planner for my wedding. Michelle is the perfect mix of professional with a personal touch. You can tell she truly cares about you and making sure you have the best day. She always keeps the bride and groom's best interest first, and she takes time to understand your dream for your big day. Then, she works hard to make all of your dreams come true. We cannot recommend A Perfect Plan Wedding Consulting enough. They are truly the best!! -

Best wedding decision we made!
From my first phone call with Michelle, I knew that she would be the best planner for us. She completely understood my vision, and I was blown away by the wedding design mood board she sent after our phone call about design. She was so attentive, and she was the best at communicating what I wanted to our vendors. On the wedding day everything was perfect and went so smoothly even with terrible weather all morning. Friends and family still comment about how amazing she was! I am so happy that Michelle was our planner! -

I loved working with Michelle for my wedding in Orange Beach! I am not someone who had planned out every detail of my wedding on pinterest since middle school, and I haven’t even been a guest at many weddings. Because of this I felt a little daunted going in and had no clue where to start. Michelle made sure I knew exactly which wedding planning steps needed to be taken care of and when. She did the prompting while still making sure everything was customized to the way my fiancée and I wanted it. She took my very rough vision and made it a beautiful reality. She’s also just a lovely person to chat with on the phone! Her monthly wedding to do lists were very helpful. She was also very flexible, including when I had more guests RSVP than expected and had to make some last minute layout changes. She reassured me that we would be prepared enough to handle any last minute changes, and we definitely were! I would highly recommend her to any engaged couple! -

Working with Michelle for my wedding was a lot like planning a wedding with your best friend. From day one, it felt like we just "clicked" and she knew exactly what I was wanting for my November wedding. I live in Seattle and planned my wedding to be in Orange Beach so I needed someone with local connections to lead me to make the best choices and that's exactly what Michelle did. I felt so much better knowing that I had her by my side literally every step of the way. I decided to do partial planning for my wedding with the assistance of Michelle and she was exceptional from the very start. I felt like I could contact her at anytime for anything. Quick to respond to any question, no matter how big or small the request was.
In the weeks leading up to my wedding, Michelle lead me through every detail big and small and made me feel so at ease by the day my wedding rolled around. When the day actually arrived, I knew that even if something did go awry, Michelle would handle it. I got to the point where if something did come up, I would look at her and say "do whatever you think is/looks best" and every time, it looked better than I had originally planned.
Every detail was meticulously planned- which I absolutely loved and appreciated! My wedding was the best day of my life and Michelle had a hand in making it absolutely perfect!
Even if you think having a wedding planner is expensive, the money you pay saves you worry in the long run. Do it! -

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!
Michelle and her team are absolutely amazing! They are open fun and never judge! She was always there in our corner. At the end of the day, it's our day and we got exactly what we wanted. It felt so good knowing I had someone to turn to when I had random silly questions. Madeline & Brooke made our day wonderful! They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and taken care of. If I got nervous, they were there and helped me keep a level head. I had no stress the day of because I trusted Madeline fully. (And for a control freak I think that speaks volumes) If you are a Bride looking for a Wedding Planner, Michelle and her team are who you should hire. The best wedding planner
Michelle was the absolute BEST wedding planner. I have nothing but great things to say and would recommend her to anyone who asked! She made my dream wedding a reality and took the stress of wedding planning away. She was very responsive to all of my texts, calls, and emails. I had a very busy and time consuming schedule and Michelle was very flexible and able to work around my schedule. Even if that meant phone calls at 10 pm. On my wedding day I did not have to lift a finger. She handled all of the coordination with my vendors, created the most magical timeline, set up and broke down of all the wedding decorations.... and somehow managed to do it with a smile. It's so important to have positive energy surrounding you on your special day, and I can tell you that is what Michelle brings. I can't speak more highly of A Perfect Plan Wedding. -

Absolutely invaluable!
Hiring A Perfect Plan Wedding Consulting was hands down the best decision we made in our entire wedding planning process! We got engaged in early October 2020, booked our venue for April 2022 by the end of the month, and started interviewing planners in November to get ahead of the Covid wedding chaos. Michelle was the first planner we spoke with and we instantly connected! Every other planner we met didn’t feel like the right fit and we just knew we wanted to work with Michelle. We had very vague ideas of what we wanted our day to look like, and Michelle took those ideas and turned them into an absolute dream design. She also matched us with our amazing photographer, florist, and DJ. When the church was replacing their Easter flowers, she even worked with them to choose flowers that would work well with our wedding florals and design! We honestly could not have asked for a better vendor team! We live in a different state and both have extremely busy work schedules, so having Michelle to take care of the design, planning, vendors, and all of the other magic she worked to pull it all together was invaluable to us! Our wedding day was beyond incredible and we could not have done it all without Michelle! Michelle is amazing! Our day was exactly what my husband and I both wanted! Michelle set up the reception just like I envisioned. It was so beautiful! Michelle is absolutely AMAZING and I cannot thank her enough for helping me plan the wedding of my dreams. She is so sweet and has been extremely responsive from day one. Each month I got a timeline outlining the things I needed to do, buy, etc. She was so organized and had everything taken care of very early on in the planning process. The last few months leading up to my wedding felt like a breeze as everything was pretty much already completed. Not once did I ever feel stressed out or overwhelmed, not even on my wedding day. My wedding day was smooth-sailing and could not have been more perfect despite a small weather scare, however, Michelle was prepared and we had a back up plan just in case. Michelle was the first vendor that I hired after selecting my venue. I hired her for the "month of coordination" but she was helpful every step of the way from recommending other vendors, ideas, sending monthly checklists, and SO MUCH MORE. Once we got to the month of, our weekly calls were so organized and she took so much weight off my shoulders with coordinating timelines, details, vendors, etc. She was so calm, collected, and friendly through our rehearsal and managing to wrangle our very outgoing bridal party and keep everyone in line while still having fun! Our wedding turned out exactly as we imagined and if there were any complications or last minute chaos, I was completely unaware as the bride. Her vast knowledge and relationships with local vendors made my day even more beautiful than I imagined. Michelle was seriously the best decision ever! I did the month of planning, but honestly she was there for me throughout my entire wedding planning process. She sends monthly tips, checklists, and reminders and she was always available when I had any questions. A month out we started having weekly phone calls and she made sure I had all the little details worked out. And there were a TON of little details that I never would have thought of. I was stubborn and didn’t want a tent and also wanted both my ceremony and reception outside, but it was storming the morning of the wedding and there was even decent storm damage. Michelle said we didn’t have to make the call to move it inside until 2:00 pm, and thank God for that. The weather ended up clearing up and we had the most beautiful wedding outside and had an amazing sunset. There’s no way the wedding I had would have happened if I didn’t hire Michelle. My whole bridal party and family was talking about how amazing she was. I would HIGHLY recommend Michelle to any bride in the area! -

Do yourself a favor, and hire Michelle. I hired Michelle at the end of our first phone call. I knew she was our girl. She is kind, funny, organized, and a wealth of knowledge and good ideas. Michelle went above and beyond to execute the vision I had for our wedding day. And let me tell you-- it was perfect. Many of our friends and guests even commented on how hard she worked the day of our wedding. She troubleshooted every issue we had (and there were several), she saved me money when I had a vendor issue, and answered my one million questions like a pro. In addition to everything else she did, she made a tray of leftover catering food for our honeymoon (such an unexpected treat!). We will never forget Michelle and the job she did for us. We are obsessed with her, and you will be too. -

I honestly don't know how my wedding day would have gone without Michelle. We hired her for the "Month of Coordination" and even 10 months out, she would sent monthly reminders of things to buy, tips for different things, etc. When it got closer to wedding time, she stayed in touch and ensured that every little detail was taken care of. Any little question I had, she graciously answered in a timely manner. She seamlessly coordinated all my vendors so that everyone was on the same page of how the night was supposed to go and ensured that everyone was there on time and ready to go for the ceremony. Everything was absolutely flawless! Not only did she do a phenomenal job, but she is so down-to-earth and has such a bubbly and fun personality! My family is a bit crazy but she rolled with it and had us laughing during the rehearsal and really helped me to stay calm and collected the entire wedding day. She worked really well with the little kids too! I would recommend Michelle a million times over. I honestly felt like I was working with my best friend. You will not be disappointed! -

Michelle Dickerson helped plan my wedding November 21, 2020 at the Coastal Arts Center in Orange Beach. It was perfect! The day went off without a hitch! She helped me remain calm and collected while planning (and replanning) a wedding and getting married during a pandemic and after a major hurricane destroyed the church I was to be married in. I could not have imagined a more perfect day! Michelle is the best! -

Stop your search now - Michelle from A Perfect Plan Wedding Coordinating is absolutely wonderful! After 1 phone call with her our wedding coordinator search was over. There aren't enough words to describe how thankful I am for her, she is super friendly, professional, organized and extremely knowledgeable! Michelle is also very patient and easy going which I quickly realized how much I value those "calming" qualities in a wedding planner... she was never flustered or panicked and always kept her cool.
Unfortunately we had a sudden death in the family 10 days before our wedding - Michelle was an absolute rock for us during that tragic time and handled all of the last minute conversations and decisions with vendors. Having Michelle as our coordinator allowed us time to focus on family for those days leading up to the wedding. And not to mention Covid-19 and Hurricane Sally hitting our wedding venue, Michelle never once made us feel anxious or stressed.
Michelle was honestly SO easy to work with, such a friendly face throughout the entire planning process, sometimes we would end up chatting on the phone for hours! Her knowledge of the wedding business and especially the Gulf Coast helped tremendously during the weeks and months leading up to our big day.
I can wholeheartedly say that our wedding day went PERFECTLY (in the eyes of the bride nothing went wrong that day) and that is 100% due to the fact we hired Michelle as our wedding coordinator. Best decision we made!!!! Besides saying "I DO" to my husband :) -

Michelle was an excellent wedding planner! She made everything so easy and organized. We hired Michelle to work the day of our wedding but really she started working with us up to a year out! She sent monthly reminders and to-do lists that were super helpful in the planning process. We originally planned our wedding for March of 2020 but due to Covid we moved our wedding to October. Michelle was great during the transition, she contacted all of my vendors and ensured they were available for the new date. The big day went very smoothly which I knew it would because Michelle is so organized and professional. Michelle was a miracle worker for my wedding and she will do the same for you! -

What more can we say... There is a reason she has all 5-Stars in every review. Michelle, at A Perfect Plan, was nothing short of incredible in planning & executing every aspect of our Rehearsal Dinner & Wedding Day. My wife & I live 4 hours from where our wedding was taking place. So one can imagine choosing venues, caterers, bands, etc. sight unseen, would cause some slight anxiety. Michelle refused to let any anxiety set in for either of us. Even in the face of CV-19 & Hurricane Sally leading up to our events, she never even once blinked or let those tribulations get in the way. She stayed very well organized & focused, & was in contact with us almost weekly leading up to the event, making sure no stone was left unturned. She carefully listened to all of our wants & needs, as quirky as they may have been, & was attentive every step of the way. She made great recommendations & suggestions for all vendors and stayed VERY cognizant of our budget. She even pivoted on a dime & found a last minute dog sitter the day of the wedding!!

She was always there when I needed her and even through a hurricane!! A hurricane came through her home and basically destroyed it and STILL drove to meet me at my venue. She went above and beyond for my wedding day. I’m not kidding when I say my wedding day was perfect because of her. She’s also a really good person and truly cares about you and your wedding. I loved everything about this company and I was so happy. -

Michelle has been a literal source of peace throughout my entire wedding planning process - from helping my mom and I compromise during venue walkthroughs to her patience and advice as we've postponed twice now because of COVID. We technically haven't even had the wedding yet but it is still only possible because of how wonderful Michelle is! I wasn't sure that we needed a coordinator when I first started planning but without a doubt she is one of the best decisions we made.
Coming back to edit my review post-wedding to say that this all still holds true! Without Michelle I wouldn't have been able to enjoy my day. She handled chaos with ease and kept it far from us so that we could focus on getting married and having fun. Cannot recommend her enough. -

Michelle at a Perfect Plan Wedding Consulting is a wonderful wedding planner. She's organized and professional while maintaining an easy-going, comfortable attitude with her clients.
Michelle fit right in with our families for our small, intimate wedding at Sandestin. She was great working with our wedding party - 5 flower girls (all ages 4 and under!), 2 ring bearers and the jr. bridesmaids. Everyone felt comfortable and at ease with her instructions - and what could have been a stressful rehearsal turned out to be a great experience.
While our wedding was a more intimate affair, I felt as if I was the most important bride on her list. She walked through all of the details as if we were having a large wedding, assuring me of the areas I could skip over if preferred. I never felt overwhelmed by the tasks each week, and I looked forward to our calls to iron out the details.
Michelle worked great with each of our vendors, and the day went off without a single hiccup!

The name “ A Perfect Plan Wedding” is right on!!
Where do I begin? From our first (and only) interview we did, we knew she was a match for us. She is funny, easy going, but clearly knows what she is doing. Michelle was the reason our wedding was so spectacular. She worked with us every day on making it perfect. The venue reps love working with her as well. She contacted every single on of my vendors, from the Florist to the getaway car guy. No stone left unturned. When we did not have the phone with the music on it available during the wedding and without missing a beat had the music downloaded and no one knew there was an issue. She herded 20 bridesmaids and groomsmen around to the different activities they have to do with precision and a smile. She told me from the beginning, “you will not know if there is a problem, I will handle it”. If you are a smart bride or mother of the bride, you will choose Michelle. No regrets! -

Your search is over... Michelle is AMAZING!
My husband and I are a little untraditional.. after being together 6 years we decided to set a date before having our “actual” proposal... i for sure thought Michelle would think I was crazy especially since our wedding date was 2 months away... we both have VERYYY busy careers and even though we live in 2 miles from our venue, knew what we wanted, had a planner/designer, vendors were booked... we knew we needed someone to manage the little details and coordinate with all the vendors. Michelle worked with my crazy schedule and gave me my ‘homework’... our weekly talks would something extend just because we enjoyed chatting with each other so much. I was amazed with what little I had to do- just had to make some final decisions. On our wedding day, everything was executed exactly how I envisioned and I didn’t have to worry about a single thing!!! It truly was ‘A perfect plan’ to chose Michelle and her team to our coordinate our wedding day!! -

My husband and I hired Michelle for day/month of and she was definitely the best investment for the wedding. In terms of planning I had everything planned and organized and was primarily looking for someone to help move things along and keep things on track so that friends and family could enjoy the day and not have to worry. She acted as point of contact for vendors and any issues/questions went to her first. I honestly don’t know if anything went wrong day of (which is as it should be!) because if it did she handled it and kept the stress/decisions off of me and my spouse. Michelle handled everything the week of the wedding from calling all of the vendors and making sure they would show up, to setting up the decor in the reception room.
