We used Sandra to plan a four-day wedding event. She and her wonderful team executed everything perfectly. Sandra is a very kind person and is super easy to work with. In fact, her whole team is really kind. It was very easy to set up meetings and communicate with her. Sandra is very well connected so even if you set the bar high, she knows how to make your vision a reality. She knows the best vendors for everything. She also planned a welcome dinner and a pre-wedding dinner for us. Both events were at beautiful outdoor venues that we had never heard of. It was a nice surprise for all of our guests and a great way to start the wedding festivities. She even added some small details that we hadn’t thought of. And then there was the actual wedding, which we will remember for the rest of our lives. Countless people told us it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve been to. It even impressed my parents. Everything from the food to the music to the flowers was amazing. It was a beautiful venue, but we were so blown away by the flowers that that’s what we always talk about first. A Maui Wedding Day was wonderful to work with throughout the entire planning of our wedding. Sandra was extremely kind and calm, easy to contact and offered a range of choice for each vendor to ensure she was able to capture our day exactly as we wished. I did not become stressed in the lead up or during the event and that is because A Maui Wedding Day was able to take care of everything, without Sandra this would not have been possible. We were able to be fully present during our wedding which we are so grateful for. All the details were perfect and we really truly enjoyed the day. A Maui Wedding Day was Amazing!
Sandra and the A Maui Wedding Day team were amazing throughout the wedding planning process and day of our wedding. We had a wedding at Olowalu Plantation House with about 45 guests. I went in to the process already having picked our venue, caterer, and photographer, and a general idea of what I wanted for the vibe of the wedding however Sandra and her team made my vision (& Pinterest boards) come to life. I had never walked through our venue until our wedding weekend but trusted Sandra would make our day beautiful. Our wedding was everything we imagined and more from the uniquely curated flower arrangements that perfectly matched my vision, table settings/set ups, layout, and fun flow of the evening. Sandra was frequently available to chat on the phone or through email to discuss wedding details throughout the planning and design process. Sandra was incredibly easy to work with and was able to accommodate all of our indecisiveness and last minute requests. From the moment we got to Maui she met with us and assisted us to ensure we would have a fun and stress free wedding weekend. I could not recommend A Maui Wedding Day enough if you’re thinking of getting married in Maui! Sandra is an awesome wedding planner and is a pleasure to work with. Sandra is everything you could want in a wedding planner!!! She has great ideas, she is patient, and she has such a nice and calming presence that puts you right at ease. We visited with many Maui-based Wedding planners and Sandra shined so bright, she was the obvious choice for us!
Early in our planning, we had our chosen venue double their prices that was more than we could afford. Sandra helped us find an equally beautiful venue that fell within our price range! Planning a destination wedding can be really difficult but Sandra happily accommodated us with countless 1:1 phone calls where we could plan out every detail! We also had an opportunity to visit Maui for on a wedding planning trip! During our visit, Sandra made sure we could meet with all of our vendors face to face. We knew she was connected with the best of vendors but after that trip, we were so confined in all of our selections and it was abundantly clear how respected Sandra was on the island! On our wedding day, Sandra’a team created such a beautiful space! Every detail of the wedding went seamlessly and according to plan! She, along with Joanna, we’re the perfect wedding day coordinators. In addition to that great duo, Sandra also provided us with a day-of wedding specialist, Courtney! Courtney was an absolute gem! She was prompt, prepared, and calm! She made our day go so smoothly and we always felt very taken care of whenever she was around! Kudos to Sandra and her whole team of wedding warriors! We couldn’t imagine a better team for the most special day of our lives!!! Thank you!!

This review is loooooong overdue as we got married in Maui in November 2021, but the best advice I can give is BOOK SANDRA! I am a professional event planner and had extremely high expectations for our perfect day. Sandra exceeded every expectation, ten fold and made our day so magical, that all we had to do was be in the moment and enjoy every minute.
She took every phone call, text, email, request, etc. that we had during planning and was always willing to work with us and offer advice or recommendations to make our dreams come true within our budget. Additionally, planning a destination in the middle of Covid was no small task, and she always kept us informed and stayed on top of all of the regulations.
Everyone asks me "what went wrong on your wedding day?" and my answer is always "nothing" because Sandra and her team truly are incredible and executed on every single detail flawlessly. Not only did they cater to our needs (Bride and Groom) but made sure our family and friends had the best time and that we stuck to our timeline to ensure the best experience for us and our guests.
I could go on and on about Sandra and her team, but moral of the story is...she is the best of the best and I would hire her for any event on Maui! Oh my gosh, we cannot tell you how impressive Sandra and her team are!! Obviously this is our first (and only!) wedding and we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. 12/10 would recommend not only a wedding coordinator but also A Maui Wedding Day! Sandra has the best team around her and knows the most excellent vendors. The day went off without a hitch!!! Everyone commented on the flowers, the catering, and the extra little touches that Sandra and her team put together. I just had my wedding in Maui at The Sheraton a month ago! Sandra was so great with helping me plan and answer any questions I had about anything! She was prompt with my emails and getting back to me! I could never have planned any of this without a wedding planning with it being so far away! Sandra was incredible!! She went so far and beyond in helping us look at wedding venues, secure a date, and work out a budget. She worked around our budget to help us come up with a plan to be able to do our ceremony at our dream venue while having the reception elsewhere beautiful to save on cost. Our venue had updated their pricing while we were in discussion with them, but she was able to help us get an exception to use the original pricing. Her calm attitude and helpful ideas were very appreciated. She is very generous and has your back the whole way. -

Sandra was awesome!! She listened to our long list of requirements and tried her best to ensure everything was as we wanted and more. She was very friendly and accommodating. Scheduling calls with her was super easy and she was very open to a lot of our last-minute changes. Sandra was kind enough to receive a lot of packages on our behalf and store them properly for us. We also had two events before the wedding day (typical Indian wedding) which we invited her to and she not only showed up with a colleague but they also helped out a lot with setting up everything and helping out anywhere possible. Highly recommended!
We met with a few wedding planners on Maui before selecting Sandra and her team at A Maui Wedding Day. A Maui Wedding Day works with excellent vendors on the island and we were thrilled with all of them. We were very attentive to the budget. Sandra was willing to work with us to be sure we were spending money on the details that were important to us. Overall it really was the best day and our guests raved about the reception...the tropical flowers, the delicious food, the gorgeous venue and the fun DJ. Sandra at a Maui Wedding Day was wonderful and I'd highly recommend her as a wedding coordinator. As someone who has no idea about vendors or what to anticipate for a beach wedding in Maui, I totally had to rely on her to figure it all out. I was pleased with her pricing, I was pleased with the vendors and I was so thrilled that she had it all together on the wedding day. She took care of the timeline, coordinating with all the vendors and helped with the marriage license. All we had to do was show up! I was very disappointed that the bracelet I purchased for the wedding didn't arrive in time before I left for Maui. I REALLY wanted something to cover the wrist tattoo I got and so I asked Sandra to have the florist make one last minute. She figured it all out and it actually looked better than the one that didn't arrive in time. Overall, you won't be disappointed.A Maui Wedding Day's reply:

My and my husband's experience working with Sandra at A Maui Wedding day exceeded our expectations in many ways. The stress of having to coordinate and make decisions regarding our wedding day essentially melted away by Sandra's level of organization and ability to effectively communicate with our team of vendors both prior to and during our wedding day. Beyond all of the advanced planning she did for us, she also allowed our wedding day to flow seamlessly by helping with logistical issues such as transportation of all necessary wedding items to the venue, setting up the bridal/groom suites, setting up the rehearsal the day prior, and ensuring the wedding day flowed in a timely fashion. Trying to nicely coordinate color schemes and themes from afar with all of the vendors is difficult when you've never personally been to the venue or seen/eaten their work, but Sandra was able to ensure our vision was perfectly delivered. She has excellent tastes and experience in design, and was integral in helping me make a lot of my theme choices. We were impressed with how everything came together on the day of our wedding, and were very happy with the venue decorations and set up.
Although email communication at times was a little tough, Sandra is always readily available by phone appointment, and it's very easy to get in touch with her through that method. Sandra is very busy, so often coordinating appointments for phone communication is more effective than email.
Our total wedding cost ended up far exceeding the initial estimate provided to us, largely due to extras we (my husband and I) chose to include in our day, However, there were also some fees/items that seemed unavoidable related to the venue/signage/DJ that we would have liked to be aware of upfront. Looking back, we are grateful for having received an initial bare-boned wedding estimate as we may have otherwise chosen a different location/vision. If we felt items invoiced to us were unnecessary/too pricey, Sandra worked well with us to help find more efficiently priced alternatives. However, more proactive discussion about cost-effective options prior to invoicing would have been welcomed.
Overall, we believe our wedding was worth every penny we spent, and are happy with our decision to work with A Maui Wedding Day in planning our special event. Our wedding day was perfect, and wouldn't have been without the work of Sandra and her team. If you are looking for your vision to be accurately captured while you are >5,000 miles away, and want to work with a team that has excellent tastes, A Maui Wedding Day is a wonderful choice!A Maui Wedding Day's reply:

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sandra as a wedding coordinator. Our wedding day turned out amazingly, with Sandra taking care of all the little details (setup, taking down, packing up our stuff for us, etc). I gave Sandra some images/pinterest boards of what my vision was and she made great vendor introductions and helped devlier exactly what I wanted. Sandra and her team have a very calm and cool demeanour which is exactly what you want on the wedding day! You can tell they've done this a million times. Every vendor I spoke to during our planning also said Sandra is one of the best on the island. One thing I would recommend - definitely take advantage of Sandra's policy that you can schedule a call with her at any time! I assume Sandra gets bogged down with emails from all over the place, so the best way to get quick answers is to take advantage of speaking by phone (if you're planning a destination wedding like we were). They all made me and Dustin feel like we were amongst family, which was extra special since it was just us and two friends from home. During the planning phase, Sandra made everything easy. I was afraid of feeling overwhelmed with all the choices, venue, flowers, photography... but I never felt that way. Once we were in Hawaii, Sandra took care of every last detail, even driving me to the venue!
