They were wonderful to work with. Everyone was very professional. They set up the buffet and were with us for quite a while. they refilled anything that was getting low. It was a pleasure not to have to worry about anything.
The Food was great and everyone was pleased. I would highly recommend them!!

Excellent Catering Service!

A Catered Affair was an excellent choice to cater out wedding. The food was delicious! They were very professional through out the entire process and they were always available to answer any questions we had. I would highly recommend them for your catering needs.

I am in New Jersey, but had to plan a rehearsal dinner in Missouri for my son and future daughter-in-laws wedding at a private home. This in itself was difficult enough, however I also had to consider a severe food allergy. I contacted several caterers months before the date and A Catered Affair was the first to respond. They handled everything I needed and always promptly responded when I had a question or change I wanted to make. They made sure all the ingredients were safe for everyone. They were prompt in setting up and thorough in cleaning up. I was going to offer anyone who wanted to take home some of the food to help themselves, but by the time it was over all the food was gone. Everyone commented on how delicious it all was. I couldn't have done this 900 miles away if it wasn't for their know how. I would use them again.

Excellent service, Excellent food Highly Recommend

Highly recommend! Excellent customer service, excellent food! I have used A Catered Affair for 5 different events - some small some large and each time the food was the hit of the party! Mark and Sarah are so professional and think of every detail. In March they catered a wedding for us - and due to covid it was very complicated - but they came up with innovative, creative ways to make sure everyone was safe - the guests are still calling me to get the name of the caterers! If you have an event - big or small - they will make sure it will be the one everyone remembers.

Wonderful experience from start to finish!

From the initial contact and tasting all the way to the big day, A Catered Affair made the process worry-free and delicious. The crew were easy to accomodate, worked with us on getting to venue (NOT a small feat in rural Missouri) and every one of almost 100 guests commented on the delicious food!

They were great to work with! Offered a tasting and while we were at the tasting their options were explained so we could choose what would best serve our needs. Cassie was very helpful with the planning and very accommodating with some late additions. The food, the service was wonderful, they had everything cleaned up and put away so we did not have to deal with the food cleanup either! We have received so many compliments on the food from our guests as well. Thanks to Cassie and Marian for helping make our daughter's wedding day great!

A Catered Affair did a fabulous job with the food for our daughters wedding. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was done and even asked me what they could do to help make sure I was not stressed out. They even made sure the drink canisters were full and I didn't even get the drinks from them.

So many of my guests told me how great the food was! The leftovers were delicious as well. Everyone at ACA was great and they even came to us for our taste testing. Great experience.

Wonderful!

Food was delicious. My daughter has a gluten allergy and they were more than willing to work with us on a menu that she could eat. Very professional and pleasant with the guests. I would highly recommend them to anybody having an event!

Great Catering Experience

We hired A Catered Affair for my Oct 26th wedding. We were blown away by the quality of food for the price. They were professional, on time, organized and truly made it one less thing I even had to think about. I'd recommend them to anyone!

We had so many compliments. Roast beef was excellent, chicken moist and vegetables were perfectly done. I was so happy to have them try a special request for the vegetarians among us. The quinoa and roasted vegetables were delicious.

Worked like a charm!

A Catered Affair was a wonderful team to work with. From the initial contact, tasting, and during the multiple conversations to iron out the details, they were helpful, patient and open to meeting my needs. I was asked multiple times at the reception who my catering team was and how great the food was. If I ever need catering for large crowd, A Catered Affair is on my speed dial. Excellent service! Great food!

A Catered Affair were very easy to work with. They were very prompt on their communication with me. They set up a day before the wedding so not to disturb the ceremony the next day. I had a lot of people comment on how good the food was!

I was so happy we used them for our daughters wedding. Started out with stations and changed to fall buffet.. it was excellant , ribs,salmon, mashed butternut squash, baked apples,etc.. Small staff excellent to work with would tell friends and use again.

Best food EVER!

ACA was an absolute pleasure to work with! They were really accommodating and flexible with their menu when we wanted to add a side that wasn't on their list--AND THEY NAILED IT! Everything was absolutely delicious and everyone is still talking about how tasty dinner was! I highly recommend ACA!

Best catering service ever! From the first phone call they were so helpful and had great suggestions, answered every one of my questions and I had a lot because I had never used a catering service before. The food and employees were absolutely fantastic. Everyone is still talking about the Hawaiian themed dinner. Will most definitely keep A Catered Affair at the top of my list and look forward to working with them again.

The food was delicious! We even booked them about a month before the wedding and everything worked out quickly and Cassidy was very responsive and professional. It relieved so much stress on our wedding day having the food taken care of by A Catered Affair!

A Catered Affair is A-mazing. They were super helpful, answered all of my questions in a timely and accurate manner, and best of all the food was great! We got a lot of compliments from everyone. But the thing that meant the most to me was their ability to make food that my mother could eat. She has a SUPER sensitive allergy to sulfites, which is really difficult to manage, and if she eats anything that has sulfites on or in it she will get sick. A Catered Affair listened and made multiple changes and designed a special plate just for her that she is STILL raving about. I cannot thank these ladies enough for making our wedding dinner fantastic. I cannot recommend them enough!

I loved this vendor! Would highly recommend to any person catering a large event. The food quality was superb, especially for the price point. They also went out of their way to help cut and serve our wedding cake and champagne for the toasts. Again, I would highly recommend them.

I thought she did an amazing job and gave us everything we asked for. Also, the food was really good and everyone loved it. The only problem I had was that when someone who wasn't family asked if her kids could start eating and the caterer said yes when I was not around and left other kids who were family without food. That really bothered me. But overall, I was satisfied.

At first we were really excited to work with this company. They were very flexible and responsive. About a month before our wedding I contacted them to double check some things. They'd gotten a new GM and new head chef. They didn't honor things that I had in writing with the old GM.
The only good thing I can say is they did give us back our $500 non-refundable deposit when we switched companies. Although, I can only imagine that's because they didn't want us to take them to court.

Disappointing

The company was paid in full and no-call/no-showed on the day of my cousin’s wedding. They could have at least called to cancel. Instead, Mark ignored my cousin’s multiple calls and texts. His text message read alert was on so my cousin could see that he was intentionally ignoring the messages. This left my cousin distraught as she had to figure out how to feed and serve 150 guests. He had all of her plates and flatware. This ruined her special day and I would never recommend this company to anyone.

This caterer did not show up to the wedding. They stopped responding to calls and texts the day of and took my money. I would NOT recommend this caterer.

This company should not even be allowed 1 star. On the biggest day of your life imagine the catering company not show up and not call you. This company did not respond to any attempts to communicate the day of the event. The company took full payment of 5k upfront as well. Watching a bride on her special day have to pause her whole event scrambling to figure out how to feed 150 pp is absurd. This is not a way to conduct business. DO NOT USE A CATERED AFFAIR.

did not show up on the wedding day

fully prepaid service did not show up on the wedding day – didn't answer the calls from the bride, but obviously read the text messages and was answering calls from unfamiliar guests' numbers.

Scammers that no showed the day of the wedding

This company took my friends $5,000 up front and then no showed the day of the wedding forcing her wedding guests to have to scramble to buy supplies and food as well as be the bartenders and waitresses.

Mark and his team have so far refused to give any explanation. They've blocked us all on social media after we left poor reviews. They even shut down their main website when we started leaving reviews to make a second website to dodge us. Bride is currently suing. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
