    We actually used the Chicago, IL location of A Candid Image and loved it.They take all of the guess work out of a photographer, flat prices, examples, etc. We used Lukas D. and he was wonderful. We haven't yet received our pictures, but he must have taken over 2000 pics at the wedding and never stopped until it was over. I highly recommend the services of A Candid Image and especially Lukas!

    I was very pleased with this company. We booked this vendor about 4 months in advance for a very popular date - they seemed to have a lot of quality staff which probably helped with their availability. I found the photographer to be very talented, and actually listened to my requests. A lot of photographers try to push the artsy stuff that's trendy these days, or a lot of posed shots, but I wanted candid images and got some really great ones out of the night - it was like catching up to parts of the wedding I missed because I was elsewhere. I was also extremely happy to get access to all of my images within a month of the wedding, and to avoid being trapped into purchasing expensive albums.

    My photographer was Rafael... what a find! I was leery of using such a large corporation type scenario for my photographer. When I found out I was able to select my photographer in advance, I was vastly relieved. Rafael was efficient, courteous, and captured some unbelievable moments!

    A Candid Image and our photographer, Rafael Suanes, are a great company and I highly recommend them for wedding photography. We had booked a photographer and a few weeks before our wedding had not been able to contact her (Angie Kohler of McCaleb Designs) to get our engagement photos and to discuss our wedding photos even though we had a contract and put a deposit for her services. She went totally MIA and I had a week to hire another photographer before my wedding. A Candid Image worked with us to hire someone and were very flexible about conditions since we had this situation occur. We received lovely pictures and had such a great experience working with the photographer, I would use them in a heartbeat again and recommend them to anyone!

    I would highly recommend A Candid Image. I used them as my videographer and photographer for my wedding. I was planning my wedding from out of town and they were very accommodating. Everyone was professional and extremely talented. My photographs are beautiful and Jessica, the photographer captured my wedding day perfectly. I would recommend this company to my closest friend.

    We actually had 2 photographers at our wedding from A Candid Image and they were both amazing. Our pictures came out absolutely beautiful! They were both very nice and always there to catch every moment. We were very pleased.

    I was very pleased with my decision to go with A Candid Image, they did amazing work for a third of the price most other venders wanted to charge. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

    Excellent experience - Carlos (our photographer) was wonderful. Rebecca (the POC) was responsive and helpful - very reasonable and the photos were great.

    Could not be happier with the quality of my photos! The rep i met with answered all my questions and had many samples of work done by A candid image photography.
    My photographer even met with me before the wedding to go over the details and look over the wedding site to make sure she knew what shots she wanted.
    I recommend A candid image 1,000%. They were super!!!!

    We initially met with a representative for A Candid Image, Rebecca, and she was very nice and knowledgeable. She showed us samples of all the photographers they use, and we selected Rafael Suanes based on the photo slideshows we saw. We met with him and conversed through email a few times and he was very easy-going and accommodating to what we wanted. At the wedding, he was not intrusive at all - I barely noticed he was there for the most part, but he got some amazing shots. Our photos were posted online within 3 days of our wedding and we received the prints and photo DVD soon after. We loved our pictures and the price we paid for the service! The only downside would be that Rafael prefers candid shots and does very few portrait style photos, so we only had one photo of the whole bridal party, one with each of our families, and so on. But I am sure if we had asked for more, he would have done them with no problem.

    I can not say enough how much my husband and I loved working with A Candid Image. Everyone we dealt with was amazing. We had an initial meeting to help figure out what photographer would fit our style the best, it was a tough choice because all of their photos were gorgeous. We decided on Rafael Suanes and couldn't have been happier. We barely noticed he was there and the pictures were more than I could have imagined. He was so down to earth and made us feel extremely comfortable. He captured the feeling of the day perfectly. Everyone who's seen the pictures loved them and I keep getting comments on how they never even noticed Rafael running around taking pictures. I also want to mention you can't beat their price. For the quality of their work along with what's included it's a great deal. I'd recommend this company, especially Rafael, to any bride!

    Our photographer, Schuyler Pisha, was amazing! He was so professional and courteous... he blended in and was definitely not obtrusive. He took amazing candids and captured so many wonderful things from our day. Aside from the delay of receiving our proofs (which was due mostly to a miscommunication and the fact that our wedding was during peak wedding season) everything was wonderful!

    Good quality and service for the price! My photographer, Daniel, was right on time and extremely flexible. He did his best to use unique backgrounds and group pictures. I was pleased with the overall results.

    David of A Candid Image Atlanta was awesome! He really captured every moment that we missed. Our guests loved the fact that he was everywhere, shooting from a variety of perspectives.

    I must say that A Candid Image was a great find. The meeting with them to review all of the photographers' portfolios was really helpful, and the prices they offer are great. Unfortunately, the photographer we selected (though her photos were ok) was horribly unpleasant to work with. I highly recommend working through A Candid Image, but I also highly recommend demanding an in-person meeting with the photographer once you select them.

    I love the video! Pictures turned out really great. Jamie (photographer) did an amazing job catching many different shots and angles and really captured many moments. The video was a little delayed and we were uncertain how to select the pictures for the photo album until we started emailing and asking only to find out we only have a few days left to pick our pictures before they were taken down on the website. Overall it was a good experience. I love that they give you a CD of your pictures (included) so you have the rights to your pictures.

    My actual photographer what wonderful!! But it has be four months since my wedding and I have still not recieved my album because of poor communcation. If you book them, stay on top of your sales person.

    Our photographer was friendly and easy to work with. We received out prints and cd very quickly. When I met with the photographer, he insisted that he take care of the 'must-take' shots on the day of the wedding and assured me that he would work best that way. However, his shots reflected little thought, creativity, or effort. Only one portrait was taken of our wedding party, and there were no portraits of the bride alone or the groom alone. We were extremely disappointed that we lacked many classic shots that we thought would been taken at every wedding. You only get one chance to have professional photos. Be sure to give your photographer a list of must-take shots- it's my biggest regret!

    This is a hard review to write. I loved our photographer Jamie but our contact at A candid Image, Rebecca, turned out to be dissapointing. At the beginning she was super nice and helpful but once everything was paid up, especially after the wedding, the responses and helpfulness got less and less. I never even received a call before the wedding to confirm anything. I called the photographer directly to confirm everything with her. Also, after the wedding I didnt get the pictures for 1.5 months. I actually had to contact the photographer directly who in turn contacted the agency. They eventually sent me the disks but with no note, no "sorry for the delay" "thanks for the business" nothing. I thought it was very unprofessional. I loved Jamie but unfortunately I would definitely not recommend a candid image.

    Horrible, horrible, horrible company. Run the other direction!!!! we used them for photography and videography.our video and photo are junk. It is so awful, completely grainy, and washed out. It looks so unprofessional. It is barely watchable. We are just sick about what we paid for their services and the fact that we don't have an watchable video of our day. I wish we had done more research about this company and gone with someone else. Found a bunch of negative postings on this forum after the fact. Also, Better Business Bureau gave them an unsatisfactory rating. Not only is the product bad, but the customer service is non-existent. They were super responsive in the beginning( we met with Rebeeca), before they got our money. But as soon as they got our money, it was impossible to get a hold of them. We only found out who our videographer would be 1 days before the wedding!!!. It was four months after the wedding and still didn't have the video. Finally got a hold of the videographer and she said she was too busy to edit the footage and sent it back to the company!!!! Another videographer edited it and sent it back to the company pretty quickly. But it was months before they sent it to us! We had to call them every day and no one would respond. We got the video and it is horrible.some of the people who posted on Brides haven't even gotten their photos or video. We are trying to get our money back by suing them. We've contacted the headquarters several times without a response. Don't waste your money!!!!
