Before I begin, let me just say that exactly one month later, people are still talking about how much they loved our wedding decor.
Oh Destinee, what a charming and talented young woman! My wife and I met with her at her business location March this year, and we were immediately welcomed with giggles and smiles. She sat us down and patiently listened to what we wanted. When we gave her our (somewhat hard-to work-with) budget, she was very mindful of that and maintained her eagerness to make our vision come true.
We contacted dozens of event planners before being referred to Destinee by our venue coordinator.
I'll tell you exactly what makes Destinee different. Unlike most other event planners, she has an essence inside of her that has given her a gift.
Imagine this:
-650 guests.
-A vastly different culture/traditions than what she is used to.
-A tight budget...and I mean very tight. (My wife and I are full time grad students).
-A stubborn hotel venue that only gave her less than 5 hours to setup two large halls.
-And last minute floor plan changes.
I don't need to say anymore--I hope the photos I post here will show just how brilliant and hardworking she is. What the photos won't show is the sweet aroma of her specially-selected fresh flowers filling the entire venue and hallways outside. With a little time to spare on the day of the wedding, I (the groom) watched her and her family work tirelessly together to setup the humongous venue.
Side note: I custom-made the cake stand for our 6-tiered cake, and well, my design was flawed. I only found this out when it was too late. It was wobbly and unstable, but Destinee's Dad came to the rescue. He grabbed his tools and sketched out a few ways to make my cake stand work. He basically re-built it for me ON THE SPOT. It held the very heavy cake successfully!
Thank you Destinee, Destinee's Dad, Mom, and loved ones for helping her create one of the most beautiful days of our lives. You guys did it.

Dreamy Drapings
A Better Party and Design was great to work with and did a wonderful job with the draping at our wedding at Lake Oak Meadows in Temecula! The draping they did throughout the venue provided that romantic touch and helped give that ethereal ambiance we were aiming for. Their prices are well priced and you won’t be overcharged for the drapery as it can get expensive. I would recommend them to anyone looking for drapery to elevate their wedding to the next level.

A Better Party & Design is THE BEST
We hired Destinee and her team at A Better Party & Design and they made our wedding dreams come TRUE! We could not have hoped for a more beautiful room set up from the farm tables, the chairs, wall and ceiling draping, candles and more! Not to mention our florals and centerpieces were beyond stunning! Destinee was able to turn a community center type room into a gorgeous and elegant wedding ballroom! And even though our wedding day was mostly a rainy day (right up until ceremony), Destinee and her team were so helpful with making sure everything was set and perfect even in the rain. We are so thankful and happy that we had A Better Party & Design to make our wedding day a dream come true! -

Had the best set up for our wedding. Literally my vision coming to life. They did the absolute best job. They work hard, very communicative, and reliable! Everything was just perfect. Everyone said everything wa so beautiful and it’s thanks to them! -

Awesome drapery vendor!
We got our rental drapes from A Better Party & Design and the process was super easy, professional and lovely! The drapes absolutely transformed the space and they were pro’s at knowing exactly what we wanted. Very much recommend! -

I cannot express how beautiful my flowers were! Everyone love them and I honestly did not want to do the bouquet toss because my bouquet was GORGEOUS! Here we are a week later and flowers are still alive. Thank you thank you Destinee. Also my centerpieces ugh beautiful 😍 -

Destiney did a fantastic job on my wedding. The flowers looked amazing and they went above and beyond with helping other vendors set up and get everything in order. They did my chairs and trellis for my ceremony and all my center pieces. My bouquets looked well beyond all expectations and they were really helpful throughout the entire process. I was lucky to have them. -

Destinee did nothing short of a great job for what was a very last minute intimate wedding during the Covid-19 pandemic with a lot of improvisation needed.
From the beginning to the end of the planning process, she was very professional and very patient in the midst of what was a very tight and stressful schedule.
She decorated the outdoor patio of the restaurant, the tables, the wedding cake and she did my bouquet and male boutonnieres. Overall, I'd definitely recommend A Better Party for affordability, effectiveness, professionalism, and deliverables. It is an absolute delight to have chosen this team! Thanks again for everything!!! -
