  Loved having Alex and Megan as our wedding photographers!

  Alex is an awesome person and photographer. I would recommend having her on your team for any big event. She was our photographer for our wedding and I feel like I not only gained a photographer for the day, but also a friend. She put up with a lot of emails and text and calls from me prior to the wedding and always made me feel important and was timely in all her responses. Her personality makes you feel at ease, yet she is also somehow able to corral large groups of people for photos both before and after the wedding. Both my mom and my husband's mom were so thankful that she worked with them when taking family photos after the ceremony instead of trying to push them aside. She got along well with everyone, never missed a great photo opportunity throughout the night, and coordinated with all the important folks to make our wedding so seamless and amazing. I cannot say enough great things about this lady and her photography service.

  Great photographer for a very reasonable price

  Alex was a wonderful wedding photographer! We went with the 6 hour package - it was the perfect amount of time for what we wanted. We got great family photos, photos of our wedding party and some action shots. Alex was very relaxed and got my 3 year old nephew to look somewhat excited! Very happy with our experience.

  The absolute best!

  Alex captured our wedding beautifully and was a pleasure to work with! She made us feel comfortable all day and provided support and comedic relief whenever we needed. She had a big part in making sure our day went smoothly. Can’t recommend A&A weddings enough!

  Amazing Alex!

  Alex did a wonderful job and really made our wedding day special. She had a tough job photographing a photographer’s wedding but she blew it out of the water! Alex’s prices are very competitive, especially for the quality she provides. She made us all feel very comfortable, got all of the shots I wanted, and even let us play with smoke bombs!

  After relocating to the area, my husband and I decided to forgo the large wedding ceremony in lieu of something small and intimate and I was nervous finding a photographer to capture our vision (especially during peak wedding season). My husband and I could not be happier using Alex for our wedding photography! She was such a pleasure to work with and has such a natural talent for catching the right moment with her photography. Her photography is just spectacular! Alex made everyone feel at ease and was such a joy to work with throughout our special day. I highly recommend her to anyone needing a photographer!

  Our wedding was going to be indoor and the reception was going to be at night, so I wanted a photographer who I knew would be able to get the right shots with different lighting. I also wanted two photographers. A & A's website showed me that Alex was perfect and that she knows exactly what she is doing! Her photography is absolutely beautiful and her talent is so amazing. She made everyone feel so comfortable and was such a pleasure to be around on my wedding day. I knew that I could trust Alex to capture every moment of our wedding and I am so happy that she was our photographer.

  I would give A&A Weddings six stars if I could. From the first day we started working with her, Alex was attentive, patient, and (most importantly) a lot of fun! She was timely and professional one hundred percent of the time despite having a newborn. On the day of the actual wedding, she and her second and third shooters (Rachael Hyde and Charity Parrish) were just fantastic to have around, keeping us all at ease and to schedule. They will organize fun and goofy poses in addition to formal portraits, but will not make you do anything gimmicky or embarrassing unless you want to. We have now received our photos, and they are AMAZING - they perfectly capture the joy and energy that filled the entire day and it's clear that so much time and effort went into them. I really cannot recommend Alex enough for your Triangle-area wedding.

  Alexandrea photographed a fundraising event for my nonprofit that took place at a bowling alley. Alex gracefully wrangled ~200 people for a huge group photo that turned out beautifully, and she took lovely photos inside the bowling alley despite the bad lighting. I gave her just a few shot suggestions, and Alex went above and beyond with creative shots that were a HUGE hit with the attendees of the fundraiser. Our national organization even featured her photos in its newsletter! I would highly recommend Alex for any event - she is so sweet-natured and adaptable to even the most unique or challenging circumstances.

  What a pleasure to work with! These two talented and inspiring photographers made my day the most special day. They were able to capture the essence of my wedding so perfectly with so little guidance. It was not at all one of those awkward, 'oh someone is taking a picture of me, this is weird' type things. They were a part of the festivities providing laughter and pleasant company throughout the entire event. I gave them creative license to do with the photos what they wanted and what few guidelines I provided, they were folllowed to a T. I would recommend A&A Wedding Photography to anyone who is looking for a couple of fantastic ladies who have an eye for that special moment!

  Having known and been friends with Alex outside of her work as a photographer, I thought of her immediately when I needed a photographer for an anniversary shoot for myself and my girlfriend. Being a lesbian, I needed someone not only non-judgmental (as I knew she was), but experienced with shots that are LGBT friendly-- often times the "usual" shots are gendered (if even subtly). My girlfriend and I are both equally feminine, and I wanted to showcase our individualities while also showcasing our bond.
  
  I knew Alex was talented as I had been following her photography blogs and social media pages, but was SO impressed with our shoot! First, it was a surprise for my girlfriend, and Alex did a wonderful job of not only keeping it a secret, but hiding for the first several shots to allow us real, natural photos. Even once she made her presence known, though, she made us feel super comfortable, stress-free, and beautiful.
  
  Our shoot was just before Christmas, and Alex even surprised us by making a Christmas tree ornament monogrammed with our initials and the date that we had to find as part of the shoot. This also allowed for photos of surprise and laughter that weren't staged. Not to mention, it was the sweetest thing ever, and another keepsake for us to hold onto.
  
  Alex was patient throughout wardrobe and location changes throughout the shoot, and had excellent, unique ideas all along the way.
  
  I cannot emphasize it enough-- as mentioned, I was already friends with Alex before our photo shoot, but was SO impressed with her creativity, professionalism, comedic relief, and talent. Our photos are GORGEOUS, and we're already trying to come up with an excuse for our next shoot! :)
