When we first started planning our wedding, my (now) Husband knew he wanted 2Shea to cater since he had gone to a wedding where they were serving and he loved the food. We knew the food was going to be amazing, but what we didn't know was how important this team would be on our actual wedding day. We worked with Deanna, she quickly sent us over all of our options, answered all of our questions, and brought up a lot of things we didn't think of ourselves during the planning process. The pricing was very reasonable! We ended up going with the open bar, butler pass bites for cocktail hour along with a grazing table, three options for entree, and an awesome dessert spread. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked, cut like butter, and was delicious. The chicken marsala and gnocchi with pesto parmesan sauce were equally perfect and full of flavor. We can't say enough how perfect everything was from bar service, to cocktail hour right through to dessert. Our guests had the best things to say.
The reason we were so in love with 2Shea was because of the people. Deanna basically turned into our wedding planner and is just the absolute best person. We ended up having to cancel our original wedding and turn it into a backyard wedding all within 2 weeks. My Father was very sick and would not have made it to our original wedding day. When I told Deanna, she assured me they would be there and that my wedding day would be perfect. She assured me my menu could be the same even though we were no longer at a venue. Myself and my family were actually away on vacation when we found out we needed to do this, so Deanna and Ed actually went to my house and scoped out to see how they could set up and make my original menu work. They went above and beyond in the short time period they had. They turned my garage into their catering space, they turned my pool house into a bar, our patio into a cocktail hour area, they worked with the hills on our property, and all with smiles and reassurance that it would be perfect. It was more than perfect. Our backyard wedding turned out to be the best thing that could have happened for us. I had no idea what my wedding day would look like and I had a million things on my mind in those two weeks, but because of this team and all the hard work they put in, I didn't have to worry. My wedding would not have been as incredible as it was without them. Myself, my husband, and my family are forever grateful for their flexibility and kindness.
If you are between caterers, don't think twice. Food is one of the biggest things people remember about the wedding, and 2Shea is worth it!! Thank you Deanna, thank you Ed, and thank you to the rest of the team that was just amazing. From the bottom of our hearts.
I wish I had more pictures of the food, but here they are carrying our wedding cake down a hill to get it to us, and Deanna and I hugging when I first saw her, which I was definitely crying like a baby because I love her so much. -

Deanna, Catherine, and the whole 2Shea team were amazing to work with from the start. They took care of every detail and went the (literal) extra mile to meet us to scout our venue for off premises catering before we even signed with them. Every guest at our wedding was blown away by the quality of food and couldn't believe it when we told them it was cooked on-site with 2Shea's mobile kitchen equipment. 2Shea squirred away food for my husband and I at cocktail hour to make sure we didn't miss out while taking photos. All the staff were friendly and efficient. Would work with them for any event! -

My husband and I got married in December of 2024 - When planning our wedding, our friends who had just been to a wedding were raving about the food and we found out that the caterer was 2Shea! That alone sold me! From our first interaction with Deanna, she was amazing and so accommodating to our needs/wants for our day. Throughout the whole process bother Deanna and Catherine were transparent with us and really helped us with making decisions for our day. Everything leading up to our wedding went seamlessly. Coming into wedding month, Catherine always went above and beyond for my husband and I and I knew I could count on her for anything. She did such an INCREDIBLE job on the day of our wedding - always making sure my husband and i were taken care of and that everything went according to plan. She was truly amazing and I can’t even imagine having another caterer. I will always recommend 2Shea!!! We are so thankful that we had them to be a part of our special day! Everyone talked about how the food and service was amazing and so delicious! Thank you 2Shea!!!! -

Love this catering company specifically JULIA who organized our wedding at 2Sheas new location Duo at the Dunes Washington Ave ext! They worked with our tight budget and even added extras to make sure we were happy with our special day! Everything was perfect, never felt stressed, Julia and staff really made us feel like family. We highly recommend this beautifully renovated location. -

We had the most amazing experience with 2Shea. From the beginning, they were easy to work with, plan, and execute with for our big day. Deanna was FANTASTIC and was wonderful to work with. She was always transparent, helpful, and provided years of knowledge to help us with decisions. Catherine was also great at keeping us on track and wonderful to work with too! The tastings were amazing and we highly recommend going to both options: the private and grand tasting. On our wedding day, they had plates of the passed apps waiting for us with champagne and His/Her drinks. They kept us fed and hydrated for our wedding. The food... it was phenomenal. The steaks were cooked perfectly, Fish was fantastic, Chicken and Veggie dishes were also amazing. Our friends and family keep raving about the food saying it was the best wedding OR general catering food they've ever had. And, we agree! :).
The dessert station was a hit. Everyone was gushing over the donuts, cupcakes, brownies, and cookies after our wedding.
Don't look any further, book 2 Shea and you will have a magical and delicious wedding. We're looking for other excuses to have 2 Shea cater for us in the future :). -

The food was DELICIOUS and the drinks were tasty and strong! Our guests left our wedding happy and full. 2Shea's team far exceeded all of our expectations. They were active and supportive during the preparation leading up to our wedding, assuring every detail was double-checked and every bit of nervousness I had was addressed. They curated the most magical cocktail hour that our guests continue to talk about months later. The timeline of cocktail hour, dinner service, dessert, and late-night snacks went smoothly and left all our guests raving.
We would pick 2Shea again 100 times over. Our day wouldn't have been as perfect as it was if it were not for 2Shea's team. It goes without saying that the food they produce is phenomenal, but what makes 2Shea most special is the quality of their service and the people you will work with. Book them for your event, you will never regret it! -

Delicious Food, Beautiful Presentation
We knew we needed 2Shea as the caterer for our wedding after they worked on our friend’s wedding years ago, and they delivered beyond all of our expectations. Not only was the food delicious and presented beautifully, the staff were also all absolutely amazing. Deanna and Catherine answered all of our questions with endless patience and knowledge, and we felt so confident that our wedding would be perfection in their hands. Everything and everyone was wonderful!

You cannot go wrong with 2Shea! Deanna was a delight to work with. She made decision making easy and the wedding day execution was absolutely seamless. She even went above and beyond and offered to get food and drinks for myself and my husband and she even helped to bustle my wedding dress!
Our wedding was 5 months ago and our family and friends are still raving about the food and how great the service was. The 2Shea staff are phenomenal at their jobs and made our wedding day a success! They exceeded our expectations! -

Delicious!
Deanna and the team at 2Shea were so incredible to work with from day one! I always felt that I could pick up the phone and call with questions on our menu, especially when it came to making sure our guests could enjoy the food and not have to worry about any allergies. Deanna even took my idea for our signature drink name and created a recipe to match the name (which was SO TASTY!) My husband and I didn't get to enjoy many cocktail hour apps since we were mingling with the guests, but when we sat down for dinner there was a board containing a sampling of all our apps so we could enjoy them. That was incredibly thoughtful of the 2Shea team to make sure we still got to enjoy them! Our guests were telling us how amazing their dinners were for weeks after the wedding. Everyone was so impressed. Highly recommend 2Shea for their incredible service and delicious food! -

Deanna, Catherine and the staff truly make you feel like family as soon as signing on with them.
From our tasting to the wedding night, Catherine and Deanna fielded so many questions so quickly and kindly. They were the backbone throughout the planning process and during the wedding night. Catherine was there for the duration of our wedding night to make sure everything ran so smoothly without a hitch. We received SO many compliments from guests about how delicious the food was and how amazing our bartending staff were. Everything they did for us was flawless and we are so so grateful to have worked with them.

Do Not Hesitate to Book
Where to even start here.. Deanna has been phenomenal throughout the whole wedding process. She made everything from the contract, the tasting, payments, and the entire wedding catering process beyond great. 2Shea catering has amazing quality food for events. The appetizers were a huge hit and the fruit and cheese selection exceeded our expectations. Salads and entrees were served promptly and seamlessly. We continue to receive compliments on how good the food was and how well the caterers delivered the food. On top of food Deanna was beyond helpful throughout the whole wedding day with making sure we were content and happy with our drinks and food. To top everything off she was a superstar when it came time to bustle my dress. Without question, she showed up and had everything bustled up in what felt like a blink of an eye. If you’re even considering 2Shea to cater an event, do not second guess. You are getting top notch quality and a great crew of people that are not only are there for business but to help and support throughout an event. We can not recommend Deanna enough. -

I HIGHLY recommend 2SHEA Catering. They are so easy to work with and communicate with during the whole planning process. We had our tasting about a year in advance of our wedding and they made it so nice! Leading up to the wedding, we had to plan many little details, special things we wanted added, and the timeline of events. They were so easy to accommodate everything and worked with us making sure it was everything we imagined. We had many email and phone meetings leading up to the event, and it was truly a PLEASURE working with the team. Deanna is absolutely wonderful!!!
We have gotten so many compliments about our food, cocktail hour, and drinks at our wedding. People would not stop talking about the cocktail hour stations and passed appetizers. The dinner food was delicious as well!!! We also got the open bar package and they did not cheap out! Everyone would not stop talking about how great the drinks and bartenders were!
If you are looking for a catering company, I highly recommend 2Shea!!! They are truly amazing and we are so thankful we used them for our wedding day! -

We cannot rave enough about 2Shea. The entire team is incredible (Deanna, Jesse, Catherine, DEANNA!!!!) and went above and beyond for my husband and I. They are skilled, professional, not to mention the nicest people, and a true dream team to work with. And the food!!! Everything was amazing from our cocktail hour to plated meals - every single guest complimented the food and how incredible everything was (that is usually never the case at weddings, and we had almost 200 people!).
If you're lucky enough to be able to book 2Shea, look no further because they are the best. -

Where do I even begin? My wedding would not have been 1% as amazing as it was without the hard work, creativity, flexibility, and pure joy from Deanna and the 2Shea Catering team. She was so lovely to work with and made sure that everything - yes EVERYTHING - went off without a hitch. From handling other vendors to ensuring our vision came to life, to dealing with changes in venue and guest count, she was a constant and unwavering ally through the phone, in person, and over email/text.
During the wedding weekend, the entire 2Shea team was kind, calming, professional, and efficient. The bartenders and servers kept the drinks and food flowing, the chefs made AMAZING food, and Deanna kept us on schedule. I would encourage any Capital Region couples to consider using 2Shea - it was the best choice we made!

Deanna at 2Shea saved our wedding from the awful wedding planner we had hired. The tasting was incredible, the food and drinks at our wedding were all outstanding, and our open bar was fantastic! We had speciality cocktails named after our dogs that 2Shea helped us create, and they were a hit.
Deanna set up all the decorations I gave her and made our reception beautiful. She checked in on us throughout the day and cued the DJs when our wedding planner went MIA during the reception. The late night station was amazing as well! Thank you 2Shea for making our wedding incredible! -

I never thought I would be planning my wedding during a global pandemic, but it was vendors like 2Shea who helped make the process a little easier! Because COVID protocols in New York were constantly changing throughout our planning process, we had to adjust our guest count and even the type of food service we offered to our guests. Deanna at 2Shea was very helpful and accommodating when we completely changed from plated to COVID-friendly stations. If you are planning a wedding during COVID (or any other time) I would highly recommend 2Shea - they have the experience to make sure you get what you want, but also that all safety protocols are being followed! We booked 2Shea for our original wedding date pre-COVID. Throughout the tasting/menu process, they were great. Although we didn't get to use 2Shea due to COVID related restrictions/cancellation, they were professional, open to new ideas/menu (Jimmy the chef is awesome), and 100% understanding of our situation. It's hard to find honet and reliable vendors when wedding planning and I would recommend 2Shea to anyone!2Shea Catering's reply:

Deanna was a pleasure to meet from the very start. She knew I was very worried about planning a wedding and went out of her way to make sure I was given help, ideas, and piece of mind along the way. She was always available for emails and texts, made me feel more at ease with each meeting and accommodated my design needs for the ceremony beautifully. She gave us her honest opinion on things like arrangements and procedures and walked us through each part of the wedding thoroughly. We couldn't be happier with our decision to hire 2Shea for our wedding! From the beginning, Deanna was extremely professional, organized and accommodating of all our menu requests. We always felt like we could email her with questions or changes to the menu and she was very quick to respond. We loved working with her!
On our wedding day we worked with Eddie who was 100% on top of everything from coordinating with our venue on the setup to delivering an amazing culinary experience for our guests. Also, Eddie and team went above and beyond on two things. The first was bringing in a second bar per our request that perfectly matched the style and decor of our venue. The second was making a game-time decision to setup a buffet instead of serving the food family style due to an unexpected rain storm that moved in. Eddie's quick decision and execution were flawless and completely saved our dinner!
My wife and I highly recommend 2Shea for your catering needs. The staff is friendly and easy to work with, and above all else the food is incredible!2Shea Catering's reply:

We can't say enough about 2Shea. Deanna, Eddie, Nicole and the whole team couldn't have been more incredible leading up to and on our wedding day. From start to finish, they went to every length to make our day what we wanted it to be. Deanna was also our all-star coordinator who went beyond above and beyond. We had a lot of moving parts and pieces - an offsite wedding with a big bridal party, lots of kids and stations and we honestly would not have been able to pull it all off without her and the incredible crew. They pulled it off and then some. Our family and friends raved about the food and couldn't get over how warm and nice the whole team was. They were simply the best, there at every turn to be helpful and see if we needed anything. And the FOOD! The miso glazed salmon. The sliders. The s'more station! They even made plates for me and my groom so we didn't miss a beat. We want to go back to our wedding so we can eat it all. We LOVE 2Shea and can't recommend them highly enough. -

Deanna and her team went above and beyond our expectations for our wedding. The food was phenomenal and the professionalism and hospitality was like no other. The staff continuously checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and even brought us our own plate of hors d'oeuvres after cocktail hour to ensure we were able to enjoy it. Deanna did more than just worry about the food. She helped bustle my dress when we were struggling, she stayed around until the end and coordinated our Sparkler send-off and assisted other vendors in packing up their belongings. We can not recommend Deanna and her team enough! -
