Ally is the BEST!!!!

Gosh. I have no idea where to start... Ally Tierney at 2handsstudios is an absolute GEM. I hired Ally early on in the wedding planning process and I'm SO glad I did. Ally became my new best friend and go to gal for all things wedding. She made what was an overwhelming and stressful process absolutely seamless. Ally is organized, punctual, creative and understanding and all of which is what I admire about her the most. She never made me feel nervous or overwhelmed when selecting vendors or making any kind of decision. On my actual wedding day, I wasn't bothered about anything. She made sure I was calm, that both my husband and I actually ATE (huge deal) and she made sure we had fun. I truly could not recommend Ally enough. I told her after the wedding I was sad it was over because she and I wouldn't be chatting every week. Ally is a true magician and ANYONE should be grateful and honored to have her plan their wedding. The BEST wedding planners!

The whole team at 2Hands is amazing, and Jen is simply THE BEST! She not only made sure the wedding day went off without a hitch, but also guided us through the whole wedding planning process and was always available on weekends or after hours when we needed her. She helped us find other quality vendors, like our DJ, which was so helpful and appreciated! Not only is Jen a phenomenal wedding planner, she also clearly has a love for weddings and young couples and brings that to every meeting and planning step along the way! My husband and I are truly grateful we found Jen and 2Hands and they helped make our dream day a reality, they are simply THE BEST!

Amazing Wedding Planners!!

My husband and I worked with Ally Tierney from 2Hands Studios for our wedding in May 2025. I truly could not imagine our wedding being as amazing of a day without Ally’s help! We did a partial planning package which normally starts about a year out but Ally was willing to jump right into the planning when we booked her in February 2024. From our first conversation, I knew I could trust Ally to understand and bring my vision to life, but she truly went above and beyond!

Ally is incredibly organized, knowledgeable, and calm under pressure. She recommended amazing vendors (all of whom she has great relationships with), kept track of contracts and deadlines, and made the entire planning process feel seamless and stress-free. Her calming presence made such a difference throughout the months of planning and especially on our wedding day itself.

One notable moment from our wedding day was right before the ceremony when my wedding dress completely broke. Ally and her assistant quickly took charge of the situation, stitched me up with what felt like a million safety pins, and kept me calm and laughing through it all. I honestly don’t know what I would’ve done without her!

Ally made it possible for me, my husband, and our families to be fully present and enjoy every second of our wedding. She took care of every little detail and handled the entire day like a true professional. I would recommend Ally and her partners at 2Hands Studios to anyone looking for a wedding planner. They were absolutely incredible to work with!

Best planner in town

Ally was a DREAM to work with! Her communication, kindness, and attention to detail honestly took all the stress out of wedding planning. Best Planner Ever!!!!

Jen from 2hands Studios is AMAZING!! She was a real life saver as I went through multiple stressful events while planning our wedding. Jen was in constant communication with me, our vendors, and even went above and beyond to reduce my stress by taking multiple items off of my to-do list and lending us some items day-of. Using 2hands was worth every single penny and more! Jen executed our wedding dream perfectly, made it easy to keep planning on track, and made sure that my husband & I stayed on schedule day-of while still having the best day ever. Ally and 2Hands are the best!!

Our wedding in June 2024 went so smoothly and I never had to think about anything on the day of - thanks to Ally! My husband was very nervous about the logistics of shuttle transportation and Ally made sure everything ran perfectly. Incredible.

I'm not sure there are enough words in the English language to express how incredible Ally is. She expertly guided us through the entire wedding planning process with such grace and confidence. We never felt pressured to do anything we didn't want to do, and felt fully informed every step of the way. Ally's deep knowledge of the process and of all the best vendors really made planning our wedding feel, dare I say... easy?! She's just a dream to work with. Highly recommend Ally & team!!

Ally and the 2Hands team were AMAZING!! Ally had so much experience and was so knowledgeable, calm, and comforting throughout the process. She had so many connections in the industry and so much knowledge about where to expend effort and when. We did the Collaborative Planning Package, and she was able to help with everything I needed -- finding the right vendors, getting quotes (I had no idea where to start), joining calls, handling panicked questions over phone and email, and coordinating the day-of. She is kind and personable but also decisive and able to give directions...the perfect combo for a planner! Everything day-of went so smoothly, and she took everything off our plate. I'm very type A and love to be in control, but Ally made it easy to hand things off and release control...exactly what should happen on your wedding day! Would absolutely recommend Ally + team for your big day!

The Most Wonderful Wedding Planner

We worked with Jen and she was truly an answer to my wedding planning prayers! We had a short engagement of five months and planned a 160 person black tie wedding that had the ceremony at one location and the reception at the other. Jen was amazing, she is so experienced and so talented and also so confident yet calm!! She was able to guide me every step of the way and had the best recommendations. I had a strong vision in mind, and she executed it better than I could’ve ever dreamt of . Toward the end when I started to get nervous, she was so steady and so professional. Her response time to my texts was actually incredible! I don’t know how she juggles it all, but she does juggle it all so gracefully. My mom and mother-in-law and others in my family adored her and trusted her with everything. She worked tirelessly with my florist and vendors to make everything look beautiful. I cannot recommend Jen enough and the whole team!!

Perfect Planning Partners

Ally is terrific and was invaluable in planning my wedding. She is extremely knowledgeable and has great relationships around town. She is such a pleasure to work with and I credit her for the total lack of anxiety I had around the planning process. 2hands will make sure you have a timeline, actionable to-do lists, and will generally just keep you on track with contracts, deposits, etc. Every time I got on the phone with Ally, it was so reassuring that we were operating on schedule. 2hands studios is amazing!

My husband and I worked with Ally Tierney at 2hands Studios as our month-of/day-of coordinator. We cannot say enough great things about Ally and 2hands. Ally spent a lot of time talking with us ahead of the wedding making sure she understood our vision and priorities for the day, and answered all of our questions with a ton of experience and knowledge. She also provided great recommendations on how to run our day-of timeline (including many things we hadn’t thought of ourselves) and on vendors that she’s worked with in the past. In the six weeks leading up to our wedding, Ally coordinated directly with our vendors to finalize day-of details so that my husband and I didn’t have to keep track of things like vendor arrival times. On the day of the wedding, Ally managed the entire day for us so that we and our families didn’t have to worry about a thing. She ensured that all of our flowers and design elements were installed beautifully, and coordinated with our venue to make sure the night ran smoothly. Ally was one of the main reasons our wedding day was so perfect, and we’d highly recommend 2hands studios as planners/coordinators!

Best money we spent on our wedding!

Hiring 2Hands may have been the best money we spent on our wedding. Working with Jen reassured us that everything would be taken care of and that nothing would slip through the cracks, and gave us a lot of peace of mind during a process that can be quite stressful at times Her expertise and connections were invaluable; she had fantastic recommendations for vendors and we were very happy with everyone we worked with. Jen continually went above and beyond, taking the time to answer all of our questions and offer great suggestions, especially for a couple that less oriented toward design and small details. We also have to thank for her for quick thinking – when the forecast changed to rain only a couple days before our wedding, she quickly directed us to a tent company to help provide extra tent space at our venue. With her wealth of experience and thoughtful planning, she does a great job considering all details of the process, and helped us with several tasks that we didn’t even realize were part of planning. We cannot recommend 2Hands enough. Hire them and make planning less stressful for yourself!

There through thick and thin!

Not being from the area, 2Hands Studio gave me recommendations for various vendors that helped me narrow down the choices. Our daughter's wedding was planned for July 2022, but the groom was deployed two months before, and everything had to be postponed a year. Mollie and 2Hands jumped right in and helped us reschedule with all of the vendors. Happily, the wedding took place this year. Mollie was very responsive and helpful and had a great relationship with many of the vendors we chose which made things run smoothly. Due to the heat, we decided to make major changes to the reception layout two days before the wedding and Mollie guided us through a stressful decision. The day of the wedding there was a major thunderstorm while guests were being transported from the Chapel to the reception and I texted Mollie continuously on the bus and she had everything under control by the time we arrived. It was after 11 pm the night of the wedding and Mollie dropped off all of the decor items at our rental house in Annapolis which was out of her way. I, seriously, don't think we could have managed without her!

The biggest help

Emily was great from day 1. I had a lot of my vendors picked out but needed help pulling it all together and making sure all the small details were covered and Emily was a huge help with that. She provided suggestions and helped make me feel comfortable with having to change around the timeline some due to the venue layout and then even more last minute changes when it rained. I can’t recommend her enough!

Mollie went above and beyond

By the time we were a month out I was so glad we hired Mollie! It was great to start forwarding everything to her and by the time the weekend arrived we were confident, relaxed and able to enjoy our guests with minimal disruptions. I can’t imagine the experience without Mollie and 2Hands.

2hands was the best decision we made!

I don't know what we would have done without Emily! I am a graduate student living in Texas who was trying to plan a wedding in Maryland with 0 time on my hands. We were on the fence about whether we needed a month-of coordinator and thank goodness we decided to hire Emily! Even though she provided guidance via email all the way through the process, by the time we got to one month out I was stressed and tired and Emily came to the rescue! She got together all the loose ends that I had been neglecting and had me calm and confident by the wedding week. She was kind and understanding and seemed to know exactly what needed to be done. On the wedding day I was amazed by how relaxed I felt and I think a lot of that was due to the fact that I knew Emily was dealing with everything at the venue which meant I was care-free. Our wedding day had no hiccups (or at least none that I was aware of) and it ended up being the best day of my life! I cannot recommend 2hands enough, at least for the month-of coordinating. If you are lucky enough to work with Emily, know that you are in good hands!

Not all heroes wear capes

As a fellow Type A bride, I was convinced I wouldn’t need a wedding planner. After reaching out to Jen, I realized I couldn’t sign the contract soon enough. From the start, Jen understood our vision and answered every single e-mail (even the ones late at night). Jen and her team are truly the best in the business. Jen checks all the boxes for a wedding planner from the time you have your first consultation to the final moments of your wedding. Beyond this, Jen and her team deliver a level of care and attention to detail that is above and beyond. Jen is your advocate through vendor negotiations, a therapist and friend in all things in the wedding world. On our wedding day, Jen delivered. She executed everything flawlessly, eliminating every ounce of wedding day stress all while ensuring our families were able to add their own little touches. My husband’s family made cannolis for our wedding reception and Jen ensured they would be kept at the perfect temperature, per the requests of our Italian family. Make your life easier!

We were so pleased with Ally, our wedding pIanner. We used the Collaborative Package, which was perfect for us. Ally stayed on top of everything, up to and including the wedding day. She was always available for a call, text or email or got right back to us. She was honest in her opinions and offered options. She even provided some last-minute things, like candles, easel, table numbers and card box. Ally is pleasant, confident and easy to work with and puts everyone at ease. Nothing is too much trouble for her. No regrets on our end!!!

Simply the BEST

Ally was the perfect planner for our wedding.

1. Provided expert consultations and advice even before signing a contract.
2. Went above and beyond to get to know us and our families.
3. Executed everything we asked for perfectly.
4. Helped identify and fill in gaps we didn’t think of.
5. Handled our high stress and tensions with a calm demeanor before and during the wedding.
6. Was always available and responsive when we had questions - some of which were outside of the scope of just our wedding day.

We used Ally for a day of wedding planning package since we knew a lot of the details we wanted for the wedding.It was important for us to have a planner that could help make sure we were on track with our tasks leading up our wedding day, and could handle the unexpected curve balls of wedding day coordination. Ally went above and beyond our expectations.

By the time our wedding day arrived, Ally knew every vendor, detail, and decor item, and kept our day organized and flowing smoothly. We had an unusually large amount of decor for our wedding and Ally’s helper Emily was an amazing addition to the team. From placing oyster shell name cards, to helping realize our ceremony backdrop, to moving decor from ceremony to ballroom, Ally and Emily were all hands on deck.

Ally knew when to step in and take control of unexpected situations so that we could fully be present with friends and family the entire day. She operated so seamlessly I hardly noticed she was there but anytime I needed to ask a question she was easy to find.

As what happens with all weddings, there were unexpected situations that arose. Ally handled all with shrewd efficiency and direction. From someone falling on and breaking our sweetheart table during dancing to a hired moving crew for the break down and move out all the decor at the end of the night not showing up at all - Ally handled all with ease and grace.

We overwhelmingly recommend Ally to anyone interested or considering using a wedding planner. At the beginning of our journey we didn’t think we would need a wedding planner - in the time of never ending pinterest boards, endless wedding advice podcasts, and blogs, having a local experienced expert was so important (if not necessary) and made the days leading up to our our wedding and the day itself spectacular.

We recently planned a wedding in less than 6 months and Ally, along with her 2 Hands Studio's team, helped us every step of the way. My one goal growing up was to be able to "just show up" to my wedding and thanks to Ally, that is exactly what happened. Ally managed all the details and was willing to take over whatever necessary to help the bride and groom remain stress free. Her and her team were available at all hours to talk through questions, concerns, frustrations, and occasionally manage some bridezilla tears. Ally made it possible to be stress free the weekend of the wedding and focus on marrying the love of my life. I would highly recommend the 2 Hands Studios team! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The BEST wedding planner in Annapolis!

Ally from 2hands studios did an amazing job as our day-of wedding planner. She gave us to-do lists and helped us think of little details when we were trying to figure out how everything was going to come together in the months leading up to the wedding. She also held a handful of checkup meetings prior to the wedding to make sure everything was on track. Organized and quick to respond to our emails. On the wedding day she was very calm, cool, and collected even when our ceremony was delayed ~30 minutes due to the Groom's parents returning from a surprise visit to the hospital. It was a huge mental burden lifted to know she was orchestrating the event and it made our wedding night absolutely wonderful.

Outstanding Planning and Execution

We cannot thank Jen Nyland (2Hands Studios) enough for making our daughter's wedding day the BEST it could possibly be. We are so grateful for her expertise and commitment and passion for making it happen. During the planning stage, she was so generous with her time to meet/zoom/email/text with us on countless occasions and guide us and advise us on all aspects of creating a day of celebration like this. Her local knowledge of vendors, venues, and people in the wedding world was invaluable, as well as, her planning skills of orchestrating the wedding day itself. And then, her "day-of” support was essential. Besides all the countless things she was doing “behind the scenes”, her steady and calming presence with the bride and us was very much appreciated. The execution was flawless. Reflecting back on the day, we would not change a thing about it…. It was indeed perfect. We had high expectations going in, but those expectations were exceeded!

HIGHLY recommend 2hands studios!

We hired Jen as our "month of" coordinator, but as our wedding was rescheduled twice due to Covid-19, she really became much more than that. She was extremely accommodating as our plans changed and helped us navigate rescheduling / re-contracting a whole set of vendors. She was also super easy to communicate with and very responsive to all of our questions and last minute changes leading up to the event. I enjoyed our wedding so much because I didn't have to think about anything execution-related, as Jen handled all of it (and it all went SUPER smoothly). Will be recommending 2hands studios to any of my friends that get married in the Annapolis area.

Amazing last minute hire!

We came across 2hands studio in a desperate, last minute search for a day-of coordinator team because our original planner had to cancel due to a family emergency. What an absolute blessing it turned out to be! Jen and Mollie were so phenomenal! Always available by email or text in the days leading up to the wedding, and everything ran SO smoothly day of. Jen even came with us on the trolley that we hired for bridal party pictures pre-ceremony to help figure out good places to stop for photos. If we needed anything that day, they were never far and were able to help out with whatever. Mollie even made sure dinners were boxed up and she brought them to the room where our babysitter was watching our toddler to make sure they didn't miss out on food. 10/10 would recommend 2hands to anyone looking for an incredible wedding planning team, especially with local knowledge of Annapolis and surrounding areas!

Amazing to work with!

Allie and her team at 2Hands Studios were amazing to work with. She had a handle on everything for our big day. Our wedding celebration was originally supposed to take place in May 2020, but was postponed until July 2021. She was with us every step of the way. She helped us work with the venue to get our new date settled and gave us so much confidence that our day would be what we wanted it to be. We changed a bunch of things from our original plan and Allie and her team were on board and helped put our vision to life!

Have 2Hands Studios plan our wedding was such a weight off of our shoulders - we could actually enjoy the full day and not worry about any of the small details. They had it all covered! The rental furniture and signage was beautiful and fit so well with the look and feel we wanted for the day. I can't thank them enough for making our day so special and being there to support us through the whole process!

Start to Finish amazing!

Jen and her team are AMAZING and so nice to work with. We had decided to work with 2Hands based on a friend’s recommendation and we are very glad we did. Planning a wedding in Annapolis from 5000 miles away in Hawaii plus having planned large business events in the past I knew I wanted someone to take the reins in the final month and on the day of so my family and I could enjoy the day to the fullest and Jen with her assistant Molly did just that. Jen was a great sounding board for ideas and vendors since I could not visit them in person and when the pandemic came just 3 months before the big day she offered her help and expertise in postponing and working with our vendor team. Once we got closer to take 2 for the wedding Jen stepped in with communicating back and forth to vendors ensuring everyone knew the timeline and the day would go smoothly. We also had our ceremony chapel cancel on us just 2 weeks before the big day and we had already worked a backup plan in the event that were to happen. On the day of the ceremony and reception she made sure all the pieces fit together perfectly from all the little details she brought with her to the execution of the reception timeline it went great and our guests (and us) had the best time!
We also used 2Hands for our invites and worked with Jill who was a pleasure. She was also very accommodating and understanding with the postponement, the guest number change, and last-minute request for a Change of Plans addendum to inform guests of the ceremony/timeline change. We were able to get an invite suite that fit exactly what we wanted and she was so nice to work with.
I HIGHLY recommend working with 2Hands they will make sure you have a day you and your guests will not forget!

Amazing experience from start to finish!

We used Jen for our planner and Jill for invitations for our wedding. My fiance and I were so impressed with the professionalism, attention to detail, organization, and from the bottom of my heart we cannot thank them enough for making the day so seamless and perfect in every way. Jen made me feel at ease despite so much going on and was attentive to not only the bride and groom, but also guests and my parents/family. Brought our fairytale wedding to life

Jen was an amazing coordinator for us. Although we hired her for the partial coordination, she communicated with us whenever we needed her. Her input and advise during our conversations helped us ease into making difficult decisions about our wedding day. This was already our second wedding we planned due to COVID and a month and a half before our wedding we had to shift our plans again and significantly reduce our guest count. Due to this shift, we still had to meet our minimum at our reception site but Jen truly helped us navigate ways to save money so we didn't have to spend more. As a result, we had a lot of DIY projects from past planning and even our florals we ordered from Costco. Jen tackled the decorations head on to setup our space the way we imagined without breaking the bank. Since our ceremony was off site, she even offered to come and assist the morning of which I truly appreciated. She and her team are easy to talk to and helped us a lot put our minds at ease. During the reception she kept us on schedule and made sure our vendors were all on the same page. I will 1000% recommend her for any type of coordination service.

Best Decision Ever!

Considering hiring a wedding planner but are Type A so you think you don't need one? THINK AGAIN!
I contacted 2 Hands Studios 6-months before my wedding after most of the vendors were already booked. I thought I'd make it easier on my family by getting day-of support. Boy was I wrong! Ally did not just support on the wedding day, but for 6-weeks leading up to the wedding and anytime I needed advice, recommendations or reassurance that a Pandemic-wedding could be pulled off and still extremely enjoyable.
I cannot express enough to future brides on the fence about getting a planner and checking out 2Hands Studios.. just take my word for it and hire this team!
My husband and I both took on new promotions 2-months leading up to our wedding so Ally stepped up in a big way to make sure that she understood our wants and ran with several vendors herself, makings sure they all contacted her instead of me which was incredibly helpful to streamline communication and timeline planning!
Ally - THANK YOU, we could not have done it without you. You kept us calm and fed during the best days of our live. You're such a pro at what you do and for capturing our wedding-day vision with ease.

We would recommend 2Hands Studios over and over again for your wedding planning, stationary, and rental needs!!! We worked with Kris Archer and she is so thoughtful, detail oriented, calm, professional, flexible, fun, everything you would want in a planner for your big day! We had to reschedule our wedding twice and switch venues and Kris made the whole experience as stress free as possible. She went above and beyond for us to make sure our wedding included all the details we wanted. Ally and Jill are so sweet! We had rentals and stationary from 2hands and they made our wedding just perfect. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is not fun with all the unknowns, but I trusted 2hands with everything! Creative Resourceful Rental & Design Studio

Very Professional--Great Value

I'm the dad who thought we didn't need to hire a wedding planner for my daughter's wedding. I was very wrong, and I'm glad we hired Ally Tierney of 2HandsStudios.
We would not have been able to pull off my daughter's Annapolis wedding (we live 700 miles away) without Ally. She helped us find and choose vendors, coordinated vendor payments, and held vendors accountable. When one vendor (the reception venue) became problematic, she got involved in every communication and eventually took over communicating with one difficult vendor. We benefited from her relationships with particular vendors--she has a terrific reputation and a positive relationship with many vendors. To our tremendous benefit, those vendors wanted to keep her happy.
She shared ideas, including ideas on simplifying matters, and made great recommendations on what was necessary/what was superfluous, who to tip, and how much to tip. She was decisive, every step of the way--we needed good recommendations and she provided them. She gave ideas and assistance in assembling guest gift bags, allowing us to use her office for that purpose.
Ally managed everything on the day of the wedding, from room setup to coordinating day-of deliveries and reminding us to get the bridal party fed. She came up with a wedding-day schedule that made sense and then showed up to keep everyone on that schedule. She was firm, tactful, and professional in all respects, and represented us well every step of the way.
A wedding should be fun and stress free. Ally kept it that way, and my wife and my daughter found her positive, reassuring and enthusiastic. Thanks to her, my family (particularly my daughter and my new son-in-law) had a fantastic day!

The team at 2Hands Studio had everything I needed & wanted for my wedding all within our budget. They were super flexible with pick up & drop off. We rented a name card sign, a ship's wheel for the center aisle, gold table numbers & a matching Mr & Mrs table sign for our seats. Ally & the team are FANTASTIC!

We initially used 2Hands for our wedding decor and were so impressed that we decided to use Ally as our “day of” wedding planner. I cannot stress enough how fantastic Ally and the rest of the 2Hands team were through our entire wedding planning process from beginning to end. They provided excellent customer service and professionalism through the whole process and made us feel at ease! Ally was always available for multiple calls and meetings no matter what time of the day it was and made the process so easy! She was extremely organized and provided spreadsheets, Google Docs, and documents of everything with all our vendors and our logistics of the big day. For the day of, she was amazing and ran the entire wedding from top to bottom. We had a big hiccup earlier in the day due to unforeseen circumstances and she jumped right in and fixed the situation to ensure that the rest of the wedding went smoothly. You can tell she has been in the business a long time and is highly respected and recommended in the industry. She not only went above and beyond to take care of us on our wedding day but we also consider her a friend! The wedding decor her and her team provided were perfect and brought our vision together! 100% recommend!

WOW - Where do I even begin?????? Saturday was the best night of our entire lives, and almost all of it was because of Jen Nyland. We hired Jen as our month of coordinator, but she was SO MUCH MORE. She handled everything - from the communication with our vendors to physically making sure that the venue was set up the way I wanted it to be set up. She goes above and beyond for her clients. Just two examples: 1. My fiance and I live about 45 mins from our venue, so she met with our caterer to do a walk through so that we wouldn't have to drive up during the week. 2. She saved my fiance and me over $400 when she noticed something that shouldn't have been in our contract with one of our vendors!

The atmosphere of the party was everything we envisioned and more. Jen always gave me her honest opinion and, without her advice and guidance, I would not have been able to pull it off. She truly kept me sane during the weeks leading up to the event, and allowed me to be able to fully relax the entire day of the wedding.

I am SO beyond grateful for all that she did for us. We couldn't of asked for a better turn out!!

Above and beyond what a normal wedding planner does

I don't even know where to begin with 2Hands Studios. Jen was my wedding planner and she went ABOVE AND BEYOND what was expected. She was truly my quarterback during the entire planning process and on the day-of my wedding. She always made me feel so calm and happy and that things were being handled. She is extremely knowledgable in the industry and I love that when I asked her for advice / help she'd always shoot it to me straight! My venue came with a coordinator but I felt like I needed back-up and I'm so glad I got it because Jen was there every second I turned handling all of the behind the scenes and also any small emergencies that popped up (like my dress bustle breaking!) She was so patient with me in answering all of my questions and emails 24/7 and never made me feel like any question was outrageous or dumb. 2Hands studios also has in-house rentals and signage which I utilized as well! Ally and Jill were also super helpful with both of those aspects. Their studio is super cute and you can have meetings at their space and see all of the rentals and signage for yourself! I could go on and on but you will not regret hiring 2Hands for planning, rentals, or signage. They are truly truly the best. I can't stress it enough. THANK YOU JEN and the entire 2Hands team!!!

Highly Recommend Jen @ 2hands

I was referred by a coworker to use 2hands Studios for a wedding coordinator/planner and boy am I happy I followed through with them. Jen Nyland was our coordinator and she was absolutely fabulous. Positive attitude always, professional, flexible in meeting with me, quick in responses to emails, texts, and calls. She was there for all of my needs and eased my mind on many things. Jen helped me make all the right decisions based on budget, style, etc. She has been in the game for quite some time, so I knew she was giving her best judgement on what was necessary and what wasn't necessary for our big day. So happy with 2 Hands Studio

As mother of the bride, I am so happy we hired 2 Hands Studio as our wedding planner. Jen Nyland was always available to answer our questions or give us guidance through the year and a half of planning. During the last month leading up to my daughter's wedding day, she helped us prepare our timeline and coordinated with the caterer and all the vendors. They also provided a sign and some "props" for the decor.

What a calm, efficient professional Jen is. She really knows what she's doing. And she is a lot of fun to work with also. On the day of the wedding, she worked tirelessly and cheerfully to make sure everything ran smoothly. Her partner Ally also created beautiful free-form centerpieces for all the tables, each one unique and exactly as the bride had envisioned. I felt so relaxed and had such a fun time at my daughter's wedding because I knew I didn't have to worry about anything with Jen at the helm. I highly recommend her and her team.

We couldn't have done it without Jen

Jen Nyland from 2handsstudio planned my son’s and daughter in law’s wedding at the end of July at Celebrations at the Bay in Pasadena, Maryland. She worked with the couple and me in organizing a beautiful wedding.

Jen is calm and collected and offered wonderful suggestions all along the planning process. The bride would tell her what she envisioned and Jen found a way to make it all happen. She provided many of the rentals, which all worked out well – lounge areas, additional décor, pretty bars. And every vendor she suggested was exceptional. Flowers - Rhonda Kaplan Floral Design; DJ - District Remix; Photographer - Wendy Hickok Photography; Videographer – Just Hitched Films.

Jen was wonderfully available by email and always made time for phone calls. She was incredibly organized and had a hand in every single aspect of the wedding from transportation to the timeplan to setting up the baskets for favors. As great as she was in planning the wedding, it was on the actual wedding day that she really excelled. She was unflappable. I didn’t find out until days after the wedding that one guest had brought an uninvited plus-one. (Luckily, the groom noticed during the cocktail hour and notified Jen). Another place setting seamlessly appeared and no one was the wiser. She also efficiently coordinated all the vendors with the very tight time frame that the venue gave us and she made it all happen beautifully.

The best thing was that Jen took the stress out of every situation and made everything so easy and so fun that it was a real pleasure working with her. The bride and I totally left everything in Jen’s hands on the day of the wedding and we were able to completely enjoy every minute. I wish our family had more weddings in its future…but I think Jen does baby showers too. :-)

The Dream Team!!!

I honestly don’t know what we would have done without 2Hands Studios. They made the whole wedding process smooth and stress free. The day of, Ally, Jill, and Kris made up the dream team! They worked hard and treated this wedding as if it was their own to make sure everything was organized, and beautiful! I got multiple compliments on how well organized and planned the wedding was.

Jill’s invitations, signs, and program fans were gorgeous and just what we were looking for! She carefully designed them to match our theme and colors. She coordinated and met with us multiple times to make sure it was how we wanted it. Her creativity, gift in art, and talent was just what we needed to better enhance our invitations, signs, and programs and overall theme of our wedding.
Ally was very knowledgable and helpful on how our venue (London Town and Gardens) was set up and knew the appropriate rentals and furniture to use and where to place it. She helped add comfort and eloquence to our venue.
Kris, was an extremely hard working, organized, calm and pleasant to work with wedding planner. She was great at keeping everything together and running smoothly the day of and during the rehearsal. All of the stress was lifted off our shoulders, knowing how well she ran things. Her calm demeanor, great communication skills, and ability to work with others helped make our wedding day stress free and enjoyable from start to finish. The 2Hands Studios team went above and beyond! They went out of their way to help us countless times and minimized stress anyway they could! The BEST to keep your wedding day relaxed and stress free!

2Hands was a true lifesaver! Ally and Jill helped to make everything run as smooth and stress free as possible. It was so nice to know that on our actual wedding day they had decor delivery, set up, clean up, and pick up all taken care of. A million stars for Kris and 2hands! Thanks for your kindness, flexibility, and patience. We couldn't have pulled the wedding off without you. Kris went above and beyond the month prior to coordinate with our vendors (we had a lot of moving parts) and to make sure that the day of was everything we could have hoped for. Jen at 2Hands was priceless!

With the bride and groom in FL, parents in NJ, and wedding in MD, Jen was instrumental in arranging cake tastings, hair trials, and florists on our one weekend trip prior to the wedding. On the wedding weekend, Jen handled all of the timeline details and worked effortlessly with our vendors and the Chapel and Waterfront coordinators. She even tackled the new USNA entrance policy, that went into effect the weekend prior to the wedding, with ease. Working with 2hands was wonderful! From the moment I met with Ally and visited their showroom, I knew that I had to use 2hands for all of my rental needs! I initially went there for the barn tables but ended up with so much more! Their selection is wonderful and they were so pleasant and easy to work with. 2hands Studios was amazing to work with! They have a great inventory of rental items that are reasonable priced. Their farm tables and the love seat we rented made our reception memorable for our guests. Ally is very helpful, responsive, and honest. I had inquired about renting a faux fireplace mantle a few days before our wedding when the forecast was predicting rain and we had to move our ceremony inside. She told me that my venue already had one on site that was available at no cost. I really appreciated the transparency! Would highly recommend 2hands Studios!

2hands studios is amazing!!!

We used 2hands studios for renting ceremony decor and furniture to have set up during the reception. Ally is absolutely amazing! She helped bring my vision for my ceremony to life. Ally and Jill were there the morning of my wedding to set everything up and everything looked incredible. They designed a welcome sign and a ceremony sign to have instead of paper programs. Jill designed the place cards for our guests and she did a wonderful job! Ally and Jill were both very easy to communicate with during the wedding planning process and they were responsive to any questions I had. Our wedding day was amazing and a big part of that was because of the beautiful set up & decor provided by 2hands! We cannot thank them enough for all of their help and hardwork. I would recommend them to anyone because you wont be disappointed.

Hired the Best for the Best Day of My Life

Jen is a close friend of mine who i interned with a few years ago. I knew after interning with her that come the day i get married, i would want her to be there one to coordinate my wedding. Well the day finally came, and she exceeded all my expectations which i already knew she would. She was my stress reliever. I was a super organized bride and have very specific instructions for all my decor and vision. It was above and beyond what i envisioned. The ballroom reveal was the biggest part to me. And it literally took my breath away. Jen helped with rehearsal, visited me in the morning while i was in hair and makeup, coordinated the ceremony which was in a different location then the reception and took care of every aspect during the reception. She was on top of everything even when i forgot something in my room, she went and got a key from front desk and conquered that task for me. Even though the day went by so fast in my eyes, it was seriously the BEST day of my entire life. I still tear up every time i think about it. Molly and Jen were a great pair to work with and i will always recommend them.

Probably the smartest thing I did as Mother of the Bride was to reach out to Jen at 2hands. She held our hands when we were freaking out, was incredibly organized, had a list of vendors and helped us wade through that process. She even helped with last minute rentals from 2hands for table lanterns, table numbers, and table assignment board (but they have tons of other great stuff). The day of was seamless, and totally stress free for me (and the bride too). Highly recommend!

Aly and her team at 2hands are awesome!! They helped us start from literally no idea of how we wanted things to look and led us to a beautiful and simple theme. Aly dealt with us having a million questions and changes to our orders, and met us with professionalism with every email. They also built us an amazing kite escort card board to match our theme, and when it wouldn't fit in the first two cars we tried, offered to drive it over to the venue themselves. Jen Nyland was an absolutely wonderful day-of wedding planner! We called her on recommendation of one of our vendors, as we changed wedding planners about 4 months out from our wedding. From the moment I called her, Jen was attentive, patient and caring. She was extremely organized and methodical, and provided me with an answer to every single question I asked. We began working together extensively 30 days before the wedding, but she answered my calls before that to answer questions. She was never anything short of personable, and she ensured my husband and I had the best wedding we could have asked for. The timeline was flawless, my stress level low, and Jen never missed a beat! I can't speak highly enough about 2hands! I am so so thankful that we hired them! Everyone who works there is wonderful! Jen was our planner and she was absolutely amazing! She was kind, patient, organized, and prompt. We helped recommend us a makeup artist, she made the timeline actually doable, she provided moral support when I thought I'd lose my mind, and she made our day go by seamlessly! My husband and I were recommended to 2Hands Studio, by a friend who was also using the wedding planning company. From our first meeting with Ally, we knew that 2Hands would be a perfect fit for us, in helping us plan the perfect wedding and capture the vibe we were hoping to achieve. As a first time wedding planner, I had no idea what to expect in wedding planning and what little details to think about. Jen, the Studio's main wedding coordinator, took over our account, and assisted us throughout the whole process. She was super enthusiastic and gave us great recommendations on vendors, decor and any other silly questions we may have had (there are a lot of random details we wouldn't have even thought about). We opted to use 2Hands for month of wedding planning, since we wanted to be heavily involved in decision making, and really just needed a support system in the month leading up to the wedding planning. Jen coordinated our layout, vendor schedule and day of time line. The day of our wedding was a monsoon and Jen helped us make last minute adjustments to the day, to make sure we still got everything out of our wedding (and more), despite the uncooperative weather. Jen was beyond helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process, but most importantly in the days leading up to our wedding and more importantly the day of. Jen and Ally were a great addition to our wedding planning team and helped make our day everything we wanted and more!!

We loved working with 2hands Studios for our wedding rentals! Guests LOVED the sailboat for the escort cards. All of our customized signs were beautiful! Jill & Ally responded quickly to my e-mails and helped me decide on the wording/look for my signs. I added the cornhole boards to rent last minute and am so glad I did- the guests loved them! We can’t say enough good things about Jen and 2Hands Planning! If you don’t have a wedding planner, month of, or day of coordinator, you should absolutely hire them! After my first call with Jen, I knew she would be the perfect wedding planner – organized, calm, friendly, familiar with the Eastern shore (location of our wedding), and willing to do whatever it took to make our wedding weekend run smoothly. We had already selected the venue, photographer, and band before hiring Jen, but she jumped right in and helped us select the rest of our vendors. Our venue was kind of a blank slate so it took a lot of extra coordination with all the different vendors, rentals, transportation, etc. and she managed all of them and orchestrated the event flawlessly – it was not an easy task. Jen was always available via email, phone or text during the planning process and was great at keeping me calm when I started to stress over the little things or have a minor freak out here and there. She was flexible with meetings and would even come to my house to meet to help save us time during the week. She is a true professional and really takes care of each and every one of her brides. When the weekend came around, we handed everything off to Jen and she executed it AMAZINGLY! All my friends commented on how calm I was on my wedding day and I really tribute it to Jen, I knew she had it all under control and we had nothing to worry about. The wedding wouldn’t have been the same without her!

We also used 2Hands for some of our rentals and LOVED them. Jill made beautiful custom menu boards, cocktail menus, oyster shell place cards, and welcome signs. In addition, we rented our table numbers and our card box from them, the quality was amazing.

I cannot recommend 2Hands and Jen enough. They are so talented in all aspects and will do whatever it is to bring your vision to life. It was truly better than we ever imagined, we couldn’t have done it without them!

I cannot say enough good things about 2Hands. First off, I recommend them to every single bride I talk to now, and my best friend and close friend are using them for their weddings, too. We knew we wanted a company that we could rent decor from instead of buying everything, but we also wanted at least a day-of coordinator if not a month-of coordinator. We met with Ally and Jen to talk about what we envisioned and already had so many planning questions that they answered before we even signed (like timeframes for certain tasks, vendor recommendations, etc.). But as soon as we left our first meeting, we knew they were perfect. We signed for a month-of coordinator with Ally since Jen already had an event the day of our wedding and we had the BEST experience. Ally was so wonderful from the beginning. She really wanted to help and was the best at working with our not-always-easy-to-plan-with venue, recommending vendors (we LOVED their recommended DJ, florist, and caterer), designing the look of the wedding, and so much more. My family had some health issues during our engagement, and Ally was not only understanding to a T, but checked in a few days later to see how my parents were! She has the biggest heart and the best creative brain in the world. Before the wedding, we just dropped a ton of stuff off at the studio and gave her free range of what she wanted to do with all of it and the day turned out even more beautiful than I could have imagined. We rented centerpieces, chalkboards, farm tables, and some other items from 2hands, too, and the quality was amazing. Ally saved us so much stress and money and I'm actually really sad that I won't be in regular communication with her anymore! But because of her, our wedding was beyond perfect - it was us - and we couldn't have done a better job with anyone else. I cannot recommend 2hands enough. Seriously, these women are so talented and will make your day as special as you. Please sign with them! You will not regret it.

You can stop looking for a wedding planner now and hire Jen - it will be the best decision you make! There are not enough words to express how absolutely AMAZING Jen is as a planner! When my now husband and I met Jen, we had already done a lot of the leg work - but we still had so much to do. We were feeling overwhelmed with design ideas and the pressure of organizing our vendor team was starting. After our first meeting with Jen, we knew that we had to have her on our team! She is so warm and friendly and she truly understands what a frazzled Bride needs! We hired her for month of planning - but got so much more! She was accessible from the day we hired her up through the month of our wedding. She was able to juggle the moving parts of our day flawlessly. I was the last of my friends to get married - and EVERY SINGLE ONE of them commented on how calm my Mom and I were on my wedding weekend. Truthfully - it was because we knew Jen had it handled and there was not one thing for us to worry about! Jen made awesome vendor recommendations for us when we needed it, made sure we stayed in our budget, and truly made my wedding magical. Jen made sure she understood the ins and outs of my vision and even came to my dress fitting and knew exactly how to bustle my gown when it came time.
We also used 2hands for our rentals. Jen and Ally put together a beautiful reception room for us! A month later we are still hearing from our guests how beautiful everything was and how blown away they were! The best part was that they set it all up and cleaned it all up as well - so we didn't have to worry about anything. 2hands has the most amazing decor in their studio!! My mom and I were like kids inside a candy store when we were designing our tables and room decor. If they don't have it - they will make sure they find a way to make your vision come true!
I cannot stress enough how thankful we are to Jen and 2hands for everything they did for us! I promise you will love them!

OK, bear with me on the length of this review - I just have to love on these wonderful ladies a little bit :) Ally helped us with the rentals part of our wedding day. 2hands has an INCREDIBLE inventory of decorations, supplies, and ideas for making your wedding day totally unique. It was impressive how in tune Ally was with the inventory - she always seemed to know off the top of her head what they had in stock and where it was. It was incredibly helpful to have her expertise in this area. We ended up renting a lot from them, but some of my favorites were the pale blue love seat we used for our sweetheart table, the gorgeous lanterns for our ceremony site (and reception), and the little touches Ally suggested that made our wedding day so "us". Jill designed/created the most GORGEOUS wedding invitations and escort cards for us! Our guests raved about them! They were unique and absolutely stunning. It is still on display in our house! :) Jill also hand painted our incredible huge chalkboard sign that was the equivalent of a wedding ceremony program. It was beautiful and she has such talent! OH, Jen! How do I even start?! We met Jen to talk about the option of a month of coordinator and I stand by the fact that that was our best decision of the wedding! Jen was kind, attentive, extremely easy to get ahold of, extraordinarily professional and has an impressive expertise in wedding planning and coordination. Prior to the wedding day she helped us contact vendors, coordinate our guest shuttle, plan our wedding day timeline out, run our rehearsal, and so much more. On the wedding day - I can honestly tell you I didn't worry about ANYTHING! Seriously! Jen and her assistant beautified the entire venue from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception space. She told us where to be and when, kept us informed, and handled EVERYTHING! We couldn't imagine working with any other company. This review is long overdue, but it had to be written! Last April, I lucky enough to work with 2hands Studios for event rentals for my wedding. 2hands came as a recommendation from our florist, but they up being a complete godsend and really added the special finishing touches to my wedding day vision.

The 2hands studio is a real life wedding Pinterest board. :-) We ended up using them for all table decor items, including mercury vases, antique mirrors, antique gold frames for our table numbers, candle votives and floating candle holders. We also rented a card lantern, a few sets of shutters (for our name cards), and multiple chalkboard signs. I also paid for the set up fee, which was well worth the cost as everything was executed flawlessly. They even helped me find a place for and set-up a family heirloom veil.

Most importantly, working with Jill and Ally was super fun and super easy. They were collaborative and consultative. If I had found them earlier in the planning process, I am sure I would have found even more reasons to use them on other items b/c they seem to do everything. I would definitely recommend 2hands Studios to anyone planning a wedding and look forward to finding a reason to work with them again sometime in the future!

We literally hired a "day of"/ somewhat month of coordinator two/three weeks before my wedding. Jen made everything go so much more smoothly on wedding day! 2hands also took care of our seating arrangements and other rentals here and there. Jen was our saving grace during crunch time, and everything came together so beautifully! I would hire them again in a heart beat! She took care of everything with the vendors, timeline, scheduling, and any other errands or emergencies that were needed. It was amazing.

2hands studio was wonderful to work with! They provided furniture rentals for our wedding for an outdoor seating area and they had really nice (and comfy!) options and were really nice to work with. They delivered the rentals and picked them up and we have some really lovely bride and groom photos of us around the furniture which really made the outdoor space great for both us and the guests!

2Hands Studio was one of the most enjoyable parts of wedding planning for me and my husband. The studio is full of vintage furniture, decorations, and other necessities (e.g. chalkboards and cake stands). Our wedding theme was vintage (a blend of 1910/1920's) and we were so happy that we found 2Hands for all of our decoration needs. The gold candelabras, birdcages, and votives that we used for decorating our tent went perfectly with our theme. Ally and Jill are fantastic to work with and extremely flexible. I planned my wedding from outside of the country and they were very helpful in providing me with different suggestions for decorating and pictures of everything that I could use for the wedding. This is the best place to go if you are looking for affordable and beautiful decorations for your wedding. Happy planning!

2hands was amazing to work with! Ally was so helpful in designing the perfect touches to add to my wedding! She made all the signs for the wedding, which made my life so much easier! She had amazing suggestions which brought everything together! Highly recommend!

We were planning our daughter's wedding this past fall at The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club and looked to their preferred vendor list for decor vendor ideas.
We also attended their Bow Ties and Bubbly bridal show to learn more about and meet the vendors! It was fun to see how the vendors decorate a space and what their items look like in real life!
We decided to use 2 Hands Studio for decor items. They have a beautiful white vintage chest that can serve as a lovely altar at an outdoor wedding !
Our florist filled the drawers with flowers and placed beautiful blooms in vases on top of it!
We also rented Mr and Mrs framed signs for the table setting!

And they had lovely driftwood and lace sailboat table numbers! They even suggest to you several different ways to number the tables!
Contacting them was easy and they were on top of everything!
I would highly recommend you check out their website or go to the bridal show and meet Allie in person!

BTW: we couldn't pick up our items and they suggested they could drop them off since they were already doing another wedding that weekend at the CBBC!

2Hands Studio was amazing to work with, the created my save the date, invitations, and provided all of the decor for my wedding. Jill & Ally clearly love what they do and have so many great ideas an options to create the perfect wedding. From the first day I met with them I knew I had found an incredible vendor who would be able to create a cohesive wedding from the invitations to the decor. They are amazing and everyone should check them out for their own wedding!

Wow! What can I say? Ally and Jill were an absolute pleasure to work with! From the custom invitations, to the tablescapes, to the wedding day decor everything was perfect! Ally and Jill have a keen eye for detail and are so creative. They have fresh and fun ideas and put up with all of my seemingly endless requests which I could not be more grateful for. Jill and Ally of 2hands are literally wedding masterminds! These two women, hands down, were the most integral in helping plan and style my wedding. Not only are they extremely responsive, creative, and professional, but working with them feels like you're chatting with a friend over coffee. 2hands has SO many services to offer, and I took them up on many! They designed my absolutely exquisite wedding invitation suite...I truly couldn't believe how my dream invitations became a reality right in front of my eyes! I rented countless pieces from them that truly made our wedding feel intimate and look beautiful! They provided the writing on chalkboards for us, delivered and set-up so many items, and helped make our "candy buffet" the talk of the town! Our mini escort cards were beautifully designed by 2hands and while I wanted them to be able to have some "creative liberties" when it came to styling pieces, I was BLOWN AWAY at how beautiful AND personal they made everything feel. Working with 2hands Studios truly made my wedding day a dream come true.

I worked with Ally and Jill from 2hands studio on our wedding invitations, place cards and wedding rentals. The space these ladies have created is like walking into a Pinterest warehouse. They worked tirelessly with my mother and I to plan out our table arrangements, signs, and the look of our invitations and place cards. I am obsessed with our invitations, and the subtle nautical touches they suggested. Ally and Jill are also so calming to work with. In the craziness of all the planning details it gets overwhelming, but they easily bring clarity and focus to a vision, and are even helped us with recommending a florist and a photographer!!

2Hands studio, came highly recommended to me through my photographer. They were a joy to work with and helped me out through the entire wedding planning process. They designed our invitations, created our center pieces, made custom cornhole boards, created a seating chart, decorated or venue and cleaned up the next day! Their showroom is a brides dream room, they have do many decorations to choose from. Ranging from vintage furniture to nautical driftwood sailboats! They reality helped me bring the wedding of
my dreams to life!

2hands studios has so many wonderful decorations to choose from! They have some very unique pieces of furniture and couches. They also have many smaller pieces to use for centerpieces. It was very helpful having them deliver everything, setup all our decor (both our own items and the rental pieces) and then take back all the items the next day. Using 2hands studios helped us have 1 less thing to worry about on the wedding day! They were also very responsive to all our emails and flexible to our changes. The pricing was easy to follow and very reasonable. I'm glad we could rent everything we needed and not have to buy items that we wouldnt use again!

My wedding would not have been possible without 2Hands, period. I heard about them right after I got engaged, and I’m so glad I did. 2Hands does 3 things (and does them all really, really well): custom invitations; rental décor; and coordinating. My mom and I made an appointment with Jill and Aly about a year before my wedding, just to check out their studio. We were really blown away with the options they had. 2Hands really had a good idea and I was going to run with it! We ended up renting 10-15 different pieces for our big day, including beautiful rustic chalkboard table numbers, a super cute vintage card door, a beautiful white rustic table which served as our entry table, and lace/burlap bunting flags just to name a few. Everything was REALLY reasonably priced. The best part is, they deliver, set up, and take down everything for you (for a reasonable fee). So, at the end of the night, I didn’t have to do any of the work, which was just amazing.

During that same meeting with Jill and Aly, we looked over their custom invitations. They were just beautiful, and knowing that our invitation would be unlike anyone else’s (for almost the exact cost as the popular online websites), sold me. Over the next few months I worked closely with 2Hands to create, refine, and finalize our invitation suite. It turned out perfectly! I also used them to do my welcome bag tags, as well as menus because they were just so darn good and affordable.

Last but not least, I used 2Hands’ wedding coordinator, Adriana (whom I wrote a separate review of!). I should first explain that I am a Type-A control freak who loves organizing and good checklist. Adriana is like me, but better because she’s super calm and experienced. She was everything I needed! I knew that I didn’t want to be worried about small details on my big day, and I totally trusted Adriana to get everything right. And she did. She calmy, cooly, happily ran my day without any problems. Book her, you won't regret it!!!
