  Simply the Best!

  I felt like I was totally out of luck after meeting with so many caterers in the Raleigh/Durham area. The quotes were outrageous and had limited options for my idea of a breakfast-for-dinner wedding. When I met with Nick and Macie from 1618 On Location, I felt like they took my idea and made it into WAY more than I could've imagined. Amazing flexibility, endless options, and creative customizations made my menu unlike any other wedding! I ended up with an extensive custom menu that I loved for a completely reasonable price. They handled everything including wait staff, bartenders, alcohol and liquor pricing, and dietary restrictions. I can not recommend these amazing people enough!

  Easiest Decision We Made!

  1618 CONCEPTS was a dream to work with for my wedding. Not only ​was​ the food amazing, but I felt confident with how they worked with other vendors and made the entire event carefree for the guests and hosts. The staff is top notch as well. We had custom food requests that they were more than willing to cater to. Whenever we see our guests, the first thing they mention about our wedding was how amazing the food was. Would choose them over and over again.

  Perfectly executed wedding

  I cannot explain how amazing the 1618 team made my wedding experience! Aside from the food being delicious, the service was professional and welcoming. The atmosphere they created exceeded all expectations. I was the calmest bride the morning of my wedding because I knew everything was going to go as planned, and it did! I have recommended them to everyone I know and will continue to do so!!

  Hands down, one of the best decisions we made - hire them!

  Hiring 1618 On Location was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our June 2022 wedding. Every single person we worked at 1618 with was fun, kind, and super creative. We did not want a typical wedding dinner - Nick (the owner) created the most fun menu for our guests. We had chicken and waffles, beef empanadas, and fish tacos. Every person cleaned their plate. We had a raw bar, every beer and wine we wanted, and so much more. Their flexibility, creativity, and fun nature totally made our wedding the event that was hoped it would be! Thank you so much to our vendors who became friends :).

  Best Caterer in Greensboro!

  First off, Nick is incredible. Nick accommodated all of our wishes (and last minute changes) and was confident that his team could execute them well throughout the entire planning process. They did not disappoint! We live in NY and planning a wedding in NC during Covid had its challenges, but he made us feel both supported and excited. The food is delicious and the team did a seamless job on our big day. Couldn't recommend 1618 more!!

  The Best Vendor

  1618 was incredible! Their customer service is top-notch. From the very beginning, Nick was wonderful to work with and made the entire process easy and fun. The food tasting was delicious and they brought out all the stops to make us happy. The wedding went seamlessly thanks to them and they even made sure the groom and I were well taken care of throughout the night. I can't recommend them enough!

  Made our wedding dreams come true

  From the start - working with Nick and 1618 was the best decision we could have made. During our initial calls - we shared our vision with Nick and he delivered! Throughout the process he was friendly, professional, and receptive to our feedback and made adjustments to our menu to suit our tastes. We were able to create a finalized menu that was a nice fusion of our two cultures (U.S. Southern and Venezuelan).
  
  Our wedding day was perfect and we continue to receive rave reviews from our family and friends about the food that was provided. Our passed appetizers at cocktail hour were appropriate in size and easy for our guests to eat in a quick bite or two without requiring plates or creating a mess. With a large crowd (200+ guests), we were pleasantly surprised with how they appropriately managed the right amount of food during cocktail hour, as well as, with our late night snacks!
  
  The meal was incredible - we were blown away at the tasting and were hopeful that the same quality would be provided at the wedding. We were not disappointed! The same level of quality that they put into the tasting was the same quality we received at the wedding! By far one of our favorite meals!
  
  Wrapping up the evening - our wedding coordinator shared a tote bag with us from 1618, which included food for my husband and I! The food included were additional passed appetizers, our respective meals that we ordered, our mini desserts, and wine glasses. This was such a nice touch and treat for us to continue to enjoy the amazing food provided by this caterer.

  Cannot say enough!! Especially about Nick Wilson

  My husband and I used 1618 On Location to cater our wedding at the Cadillac Service Garage in Greensboro, NC. Our main contact with 1618 was Nick Wilson, and honestly we cannot say enough about how wonderful of a job he did. He went above and beyond to get us everything we wanted, and we truly believe our wedding night's success was in part due to him. We saw him helping flip the room after the ceremony to get ready for the reception! He was such a calming voice during the planning process and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. Not to mention, the food was amazing and was exactly what we wanted for our wedding celebration! 10/10 recommend 1618 On Location catering services!!!!

  1618 on Location was absolutely delish!! Their catering team was on top of handing out appetizers, refilling wine, and making sure my groom and I ate by plating our meals for us and bringing it to our sweetheart table! They also were very accommodating for our various guests that had food sensitivities or special requests. Our guest count changed multiple times and Nick was so kind and willing to alter our order for both food, plates, silverware, cups and linens! They are definitely worth every penny spent, and all of our guests still rave about the food.

  Fantastic Drinks and Fantastic People

  We had been going to 1618 restaurants for years and really got to be friends with many of the bartenders, so when we found out that they catered, we knew they would be perfect for our wedding. The drinks are so creative, and so well done, and the people are incredible. It cannot be overstated how much a friendly set of bartenders can make a wedding that much more fun and enjoyable for everyone. We highly recommend this group, and please visit their restaurants in GSO as well!

  Amazing food

  1618 was amazing to work with. They were so helpful from the start, but even more so when corona struck. We had to replan our wedding a few different times. From different venues to the number of guests, 1618 was so flexible and always willing to make it work. We ended up having a small scale wedding and 1618 were more than willing to still cater (even though it was only for a few people). This is not the case with all caterers so we were very thankful. Not only are they amazing to work with, the food is SO GOOD. We had passed appetizers for cocktail hour and our guests are still talking about them. We also went with a buffet since we had a small number of people and the food was delicious (which is not always the case with buffets). Everything was hot, tasty, and presented perfectly. Lauren Donohue was so kind and patient with us and I am so thankful for this vender. I highly recommend them!

The word cater I don't think should apply to 1618 because they are more than caterer's, they make you feel like they bring the restaurant to you. We tasted and interviewed several options but we thought the food tasted the best and appreciated the details they offered for plated dinner. I think a lot of people buy on price and 1618 isn't the most affordable. But we buy on value and I'm confident 1618 offers the most value. From the beginning till after the wedding they have been so easy to work with, prompt in responding, professional and accommodating. Top notch service, amazing food and wonderful people. We can't recommend 1618 enough!

  1618 on Location was amazing at our wedding on 6/9/2019. They were highly recommended by our venue, Cadillac Service Garage, and now that the wedding is over, we completely understand why. The food was hands down the best wedding food we (and many of our guests/vendors) have ever had. 1618 listened to what we wanted, and were conscious of our budget, and worked with us. They were slow to respond at times, but they are so busy, its easy to understand why. Once it got closer to our date, they were very helpful and quick to respond. We are so glad we used 1618 on Location for our wedding!

  1618 On Location catered for our wedding in Greensboro, and we loved working with them! They did our cocktail hour appetizers, dinner, desserts, and alcohol. Their food is high quality and delicious, and all of their staff are a pleasure to work with - throughout the planning process and the day of. They were understanding of our budget, made us yummy signature cocktails, and the food was great. On our wedding day, all the staff were so sweet and took care of us and sent us off with leftovers for our hotel. Highly recommend! Thanks 1618!

  I highly recommend 1618 On Location for any event, but especially a wedding! We have had constant reviews that the food was incredible and nothing like they have had at any other wedding or event! Lauren and Angela's team took amazing care of my husband and I, our family and wedding guests and at every turn were proactive to ensure my husband and I were eating throughout the evening, were able to eat and enjoy our dinner before the craziness of the evening, and provided the most amazing and personable bar staff! Our guests were even raving about how fun and friendly the bartenders were at our wedding, which is something you definitely don't typically hear. We're not looking for any sort of event we can have to be able to have 1618 OL involved again!!   I highly recommend 1618 On Location for any event, but especially a wedding! We have had constant reviews that the food was incredible and nothing like they have had at any other wedding or event! Lauren and Angela's team took amazing care of my husband and I, our family and wedding guests and at every turn were proactive to ensure my husband and I were eating throughout the evening, were able to eat and enjoy our dinner before the craziness of the evening, and provided the most amazing and personable bar staff! Our guests were even raving about how fun and friendly the bartenders were at our wedding, which is something you definitely don't typically hear. We're not looking for any sort of event we can have to be able to have 1618 OL involved again!!   1618 is an amazing caterer and was more affordable than we had anticipated - well worth the money if you want your guest to enjoy the food! They were able to craft a menu based on our request of "southern food with a modern update" that was exactly what we were looking for. Lauren helped us pick cocktails and wines and was so pleasant to work with. She answered our many questions by phone and email in a very timely manner and was thoughtful enough to have the catering staff bring my husband and I plates during the reception so we could eat while everyone else went through the buffet line. Their catering staff is very friendly and professional. Their set-up is modern and beautiful. We did passed hors d'oeuvres for cocktail hour, bars with signature his and hers cocktails, beer, and wine, and a buffet dinner.

  1618 On Location did a flawless job with the food and service at my daughter's recent wedding. The food was absolutely fabulous - restaurant quality (I don't know how they can deliver 150 meals that were as good as if they were just preparing one special meal). The appetizers and meals were delectable, delicious, gourmet quality, and gorgeously presented. The waitstaff was attentive and caring and extraordinarily focused on everyone's satisfaction. Their wine list is top shelf for reasonable prices. They go above and beyond! I cannot speak highly enough about the exquisite quality of the entire experience provided by 1618 On Location. They are the only caterer I will consider!
