Who is having an October wedding? And what all have you gotten done? Ive only been engaged for almost 3 months. So I dunno what needs to be done and what can wait??

OK So I know my Wedding isnt til October of next yr, but I have a lot of questions. One of them is Do I buy the BM's dresses or do they or do I pay half?
What is too little or too much?
OK my FH and I are big Harry Potter fans and wanted to put in some stuff from the movie. We arent exactly what is too much stuff without it looking like a kids party. In need of some help!!
