I was at a time in my life when I was depressed, lost so much of myself, my self-esteem, my self-worth. All I had was my work; my photography and that’s what I did and focused on every day and night. So many of my clients wanted to fix me up with their friends, tried to get me to go out but I stayed home and read a photo book, edited pictures, or did some type of photography work on the computer. Well one day I decided to check out online dating, it seemed safe, never had to really meet or even talk to anyone. However, I came across this picture of this woman who had taken a picture outside who had such a beautiful smile. I reached out to her and she tried to contact me back but somehow I blocked her. She could have just said the hell with me, but she sent me another message telling me off. Saying I reached out to her and that it wasn’t the other way around. Well I quickly made my apologies then we had our first real online chat that same night. We talked and it was like at that very moment everything negative in my life began to change. Our first date was different to say the least, most people go to dinner or maybe even a movie. I asked her if she would go with me to an event I was shooting and she said yes. It was so nice having her with me; it was as if we were becoming partners at this early stage in our relationship.  Well that was two years ago and we are planning our wedding now for April 2012. There is a saying behind every good man there is a good woman; well I must be a damn good man because I was blessed with an amazing woman. Now don’t get me wrong the past two years have not been easy at all, there was times when we both thought we would go in different directions.  However, our love for one another was much stronger than anything else. We had to really take time to learn each other and learn how to communicate with each other.  Now having been part of Nita’s life the past two years I can say that this relationship is strong and there is nothing that can tear it apart. With God, all things are possible and with God our relationship, our upcoming wedding, and our marriage will be to death do us part. “I love you Nita” Anthony L Edmonds
