Full disclosure: El from Soulful Connections is the parent of a friend of mine from highschool. That said, I looked at other officiants before finally settling on Eli for sure. She's kind, courteous, thoughtful, and more than willing to tailor the ceremony to your exact wishes. She was totally happy to take the readings we provided and suggested more when we asked. She was nonjudgemental and extremely supportive. She doesn't ad-lib and gives the ceremony exactly as described in the plan you and she create together, so you know in advance what's going to be said and don't have to worry at all about impromptu sermons/anecdotes. Nothing was hidden from us. She handled the ceremony with a calm grace that really helped settle me down, honestly, and guided us expertly through the legal/paperwork part of the marriage, as well. She's great!

This church is beautiful and the wedding service was amazing.

I grew up in this church, it's absolutely gorgeous. Our officiant was so friendly, he walked us through every step so we would know exactly what to do on our wedding day. He even made the guests laugh!!! Definitely recommend this priest and church, it's stunning inside and out and we are constantly being asked about the church

We got married in the chapel, since our wedding was small. It was nice to have our rabbi perform our ceremony in the comfort of our own synagogue.

We had the best officient, Hayr Haigazoun Najarian marry us and the reception downstairs in the banquet hall, Santerian Hall, of the church. One location and the best!

We can not speak more highly of Old Pine Street Church and Lani the wedding coordinator there. With only two weeks to our date and no ceremony location (joys of planning a Covid wedding), we found Old Pine Street Church and it was the most perfect God sent. Within 48 hrs of reaching out, we had toured the church, fell in love, and booked it. (I would suggest reaching out directly) Lani was amazing to work with. In less than two weeks, she helped us plan a beautiful service and allowed us to customize it to meet our desires. We were able to have our own pastors marry us, we had friends playing the piano, we were able to use their auto sound system and even do communion. Lani made sure we were able to have a rehearsal, even when everyone was late stuck in traffic. She helped organize the wedding party. She was so flexible when I decided last minute I wanted to pray with friends right before the service. She made sure everyone was lined up correctly and down the aisle on time. She even floofed my dress and was there with water when it was all said and done. She worked so well with our photographer to help us get wonderful photos. You can tell she has done a lot of these. Her professionalism and great personality made what could have been a stressful situation so much fun and breezy. The church itself is beautiful. Even though it is an older church, it felt so fresh and bright inside. The pews were so comfortable and the sound carried well. Both inside and out our guests were very impressed and we got beautiful photos. I can not recommend Old Pine Street Church more, what a wonderful day it was and how easy Lani made it.

Such a beautiful church! A perfect setting for a Catholic ceremony! No need for flowers and decorations here, which is a big cost savings! Our priest was very friendly and worked with us to make everything perfect! The music director was also very friendly. She doubled as our soloist and pianist and was excellent! We also had a young friend of ours play violin at the ceremony and she worked with him on incorporating the piano and violin together. Overall, I was very happy!

My hubs and I eloped in London and held a reception about 6 months later with all of our friends and family at Neighborhood House. It was exactly what we were looking for in terms of space size, flexibility, budget and accommodation. The great thing about the space (we used the upstairs theater) is it's so customizable and has so much character — you can make it as simple or as extravagant as you want and the management won't push you one way or the other. It's in between a fully DIY space and a fully-managed space. You can select what services you want to bring in and what you want to do on your own (like music, cleaning, decorating, etc). Its location in Old City makes for incredible memories, photographs and other amenities. The staff were helpful, professional and responsive every step of the way. I rarely felt stressed or worried, if at all. In fact, it was actually FUN planning with CC Neighborhood House. You really can't find another space as unique and affordable in this part of the city. I also loved using the space because it helps support Philadelphia artists and preserves a corner of history.
