I found Ascend Events by chance while browsing online. I was contacting so many vendors that my head was spinning. I had my first phone call with Kayla and it was like I finally had a breath of fresh air. Kayla was so genuine, down to earth, and we immediately clicked. I felt like I was talking to my best friend! I knew she was the one to help us through this awesome, exciting, beautiful (stressful) time in our lives. One thing I really appreciated was feeling like she was always there. Although I was planning most of the wedding myself she was always available if I had questions, or if I needed to bounce a really bad idea off of her just so she could tell me no. Kayla was always honest and supportive and truly had our best interests in mind. Kayla and her team came in several weeks before the wedding and took over the vendor communications and small details leading up to the big day. We hired her for “day of coordination” but she went so far above and beyond that. Kayla and her team turned my vision for the day into a reality and it was truly better than I could have imagined. Any nerves I had leading up to the day about details and logistics were completely put to ease by Kayla and her team. My husband and I weren’t planning on having any type of planner or day of coordinator. I consider myself pretty organized and definitely a Type A personality, so I figured I would do it all myself. I cannot emphasize enough how happy I am that we went against that initial plan and hired Ascend Events. I truly wouldn’t have been able to enjoy the wedding weekend, or the planning process, as much as I did if we had not done so. We both agree that hiring Kayla was hands down, the best money spent on the wedding and we would choose her again and again every time.
