Wedding Videography in Iowa City

My husband and I are thrilled with the final result of our highlights and documentary films. Prior to their completion, I never would have realized the attention to detail that Andy and Louie would place into them. As Andy mentioned to me, “nothing is by chance”. Within the highlights film, they timed lyrics to certain footage and with every viewing my husband and I discover more of these moments which in turn creates more meaning to the film. They truly made us, our guests and families look so good! By chance, I was fortunate enough to briefly see Andy work on our video behind the scenes. He has a vision and an eye for the fine details in his films…a true knack and passion for videography. Watching him work placed perspective on the massive amount of effort and time it takes to create a video montage. For instance, certain segments need to be color corrected or sound altered along with use of transitions to blend the scenes together. In the end an artistic masterpiece is born, and I now know it’s a true labor of love. In addition to the highlights film, we’re also happy to have the longer documentary. This film allows us to view events such as our ceremony and speeches in their entirety. I was a bit hesitant to invest the money in videography alongside photography; however, I couldn’t be more happy that we did. It’s wonderful to have the live footage. Every time we watch our films it’s as if we’re reliving the day over again which is a priceless and euphoric feeling. I can not stress enough just how grateful we are to have the final product of Andy & Louie’s work to remember and cherish our day. Andy seems to be a very down to earth, simple and honest man with a slightly quirky yet funny personality. He’s cordial and you can tell he wants to make his customers happy. There were times I felt he was a bit frazzled/scattered and so I got the impression he might have had too much on his plate. We had to wait a few months longer than anticipated to receive our films. Even though we were anxious to receive them, I told myself, my husband and family I would rather be patient with more time if it meant quality productions in the end. Given our investment, I most definitely feel that is what we received. Furthermore, on the day of, I still can’t believe all the footage Andy and Louie filmed. Throughout the entire evening I rarely noticed them filming! Yet, with the final products they prove to have captured so many beautiful shots. It’s amazing how they perform their service behind the scenes in such an inconspicuous way. Overall, we are exceptionally happy to have the highlights and documentary films.
