Honestly, absolutely everything provided exceeded our hopes and expectations. The entire process of planning was so easy – made seamless by Natasha, our wedding coordinator and decorator (who is also hard-working and very sweet). Natasha made every effort to accommodate us in every way to make it the most special day in April for us in Jamaica!! I would recommend this vendor to anyone looking for professionalism and creativity. The owner/ event planner, Denise, was a life saver for me in planning my baby shower. She listened to all my ideas and as well gave me great ideas which came out to be the best baby shower. If you are looking for creativity and style, give Simply Elegance a call it will be the best decision you have made.

I’ve written this review in my mind a dozen times and am finally putting online the blessing of working with Tina Wuthnow, owner of Something Borrowed Event Planning, Design & Rentals. She blessed us way more than we could have asked or imagined and that’s why her nickname was “Fairy Godmother” during the planning & celebration of my daughter’s dream wedding. My daughter Alex & her fiancé (now husband) are Wichita elementary school teachers who invited their students to be in the wedding party. Alex simply wanted to bless her students and chose to post her “will you be in my wedding” moment on their favorite social media platform (Tik Tok). God took that seed of kindness and multiplied it a hundred times, it seems. Incredibly loving & generous people like Tina showered these kids & the couple with jaw-dropping abundance. So many kindnesses were lavished on us during this process and now that we reflect on our favorite planning moments Tina is part of most of them. I’ll only name a few of the dozens of special touches she provided: (1) She hand-made the bridesmaid bouquets and added the special memento of a framed pic of the couple to the little girls’ bouquets (so clever & sweet!); (2) She designed the centerpieces to include quotes from the students about love; (3) she coordinated at least 6 other vendors for the wedding & everyone she asked said YES because they love working with her; (4) when we had a family crisis, she called us with encouragement, prayer & smart solutions; (5) on WEDDING DAY I did not have one responsibility except to be the mother-of-the-bride and by that time I trusted Tina so completely that I did not have a care in the world. Aside from being a brilliant planner, her inventory is excellent, her support network is reliable, her experience is vast, she is humble and an incredibly hard worker. In addition to my daughter’s Black Tie wedding ceremony & reception, we also utilized Something Borrowed for my daughter’s wedding shower. Everything was PERFECT. If I could give her 10 stars I would. The wedding guests - and ultimately all who watch the national story on NBC Nightly News & CBS Inside Edition - experienced a fairytale event in large part because of Tina Wuthnow.

From the beginning Kimberly gave us suggestions for vendors and each one was the perfect fit for us! Kimberly guided us through the planning process with grace and ease. She calmed any anxieties and helped us plan the perfect wedding. The week before and “day of” she handled every vendor and every detail so that we could live in the moment and enjoy the experience! She was very responsive and flexible with meetings to accommodate the brides difficult work schedule. Our photographer and videographer were amazed at how smoothly things moved throughout the day, even with a wedding party of 26! We were ahead of schedule all day. Kimberly and her team kept everything super organized and even tended to all the last minute decorations and clean -up. I highly recommend!

If you need a wedding planner/coordinator in Alabama Linda Boykin is definitely your go to!! She made sure she had every detail down to exactly how we wanted it and took all of the pressure off of us so we could enjoy our day. I couldn't have asked for a better person to handle my wedding!

We had an amazing experience from start to finish with Southern Belle Affairs! The owners are well organized, very friendly, extremely professional and truly went above and beyond to make our wedding everything we dreamed it would be! They also work with amazing vendors to make sure everything comes together smoothly and perfectly! I would highly recommend them to everyone! Our wedding wouldn’t have come together so beautifully without them! From the big things like catering and flowers to the little details, they worked hard to make every since part of our day a magical moment!
