Zimmermann Farm is a rustic wedding venue located in
Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania. Zimmermann Farm, the historic farm estate of acclaimed artist and metalworker Marie Zimmermann (1879-1972), sits perched above the wild and scenic Delaware River in the DEWA National Recreation Area. Built in 1912, the stone mansion of Marie’s design was the country getaway of the Brooklyn based Zimmermann family and eventually the full-time home of the artist and her partner Ruth Allen. Surrounded by forest, waterfalls & gardens and steeped in history, the 9-bedroom home is a private sanctuary now available for exclusive private events. The project is manned by a team of NYC hospitality veterans at the ready to throw any manner of party or customize any private culinary experience. Look out for pop-up chef dinners and art and design exhibitions that pay homage to the home’s legacy. Minutes from the charming village of Milford, the storybook Dingmans Bridge, and the area’s many hiking trails and waterfalls there is much to see and do both on and off the property.

The perfect wedding venue with the best coordinators!
Zimmermann Review
My husband and I got married at Zimmermann Farm on 10/3/2021, and to put it simply: it was better than either of us had imagined.
The venue itself is a dream.
We were able to use the Zimmermann house for the whole wedding party to get ready in — separate areas for the bride and bridesmaids and the groom and groomsmen. Lots of natural lighting, beautifully decorated, and cozy!
We had the whole wedding outside, which worked out perfectly. We had to rent a restroom trailer, tents, some lighting for the tents, and a dance floor, but all other furnishings were included. The flow of activities was great, we were able to keep everything in one huge area, but maintain distinct spaces for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, etc.
And the fire pit. Y’all. 🥺 See my pictures. It was the perfect addition to the night, the center of everything but not overwhelming. The venue coordinators lit the fire before the ceremony started and kept it going all night!
MZH Hospitality, the company who owns the farm, were incredible to work with from start to finish.
They were flexible with us, willing to offer ideas and also totally willing to hear and work with our ideas, too. The cost covered their coordination, food, alcohol, staff time, dinnerware, linens, tables, and more — and was *well* worth every penny.
Bonus: With an event at Zimmermann Farm, you’re supporting the National Park Service, a historic landmark, and a legacy of one incredible woman. 🙌🏻
We can’t thank Jenni, Christine, and George enough for all they did to help make our wedding perfect. We will be recommending Zimmermann as a wedding or private event venue to anyone looking for a pristine Poconos event space. ♥️
