Your Special Day Films is a wedding videography service based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Founder and cinematographer Terry ONeil is an avid film lover who takes inspiration from the old Hollywood classics. He spent several years as a sports photographer and videography before discovering his passion for weddings. During his time in the sports industry, he captured three Super Bowls, Pittsburgh Pirates, Riverhounds, Middleweight Championship and even David Beckham. Documenting sporting events taught him to plan ahead and be alert to spontaneous moments of high importance at all times. Terry then took his philosophy that there is already so much love and joy on a wedding day that setting up emotional shots is not only not needed but takes away from the natural emotions that you expect to see in your family and friends.
What Terry ONeil has created is his own personal fly-on-the-wall documentary style that captures all the natural emotion of the day with classic cinematic framing of scenes. He uses a storytelling approach to craft his wedding videos, focusing on the authentic connections between you and your loved ones. And never forgets why you hired him, to fully capture Your Special Day.
