Mark and his wife Mary did awesome work on wedding day! Mark was a great DJ and emcee, and Mary was excellent at coordinating speeches/toasts/ect. We had a blast and the night went smoother than expected. Everyone told us to expect things to go wrong but really nothing did, and we realize that a large part of that has to do with having a good DJ and emcee. We didn't give Mark a playlist and just trusted that he'd know what to play and we weren't disappointed. He was able to read the crowd to know what to play next, and he played a good variety of fast and slow songs. Mark and his wife Mary both sounded and looked very professional, and the lighting was done well. My brother who got married recently put a lot of effort into who his DJ would be (he and his wife interviewed 5-6 people/companies), and at my wedding my brother made a point to tell me that my DJ was better than his! I'd recommend Mark to anyone getting married, he was our favorite wedding vendor.

We hired Mark and Mary of Yester Audio to DJ our November 2022 wedding. They did a fabulous job! Mark and Mary were very knowledgeable, down to earth, and understanding. They completely understood the vibe we wanted for our dinner hour and reception music. Working with them felt like working with family. They also were very good at keeping us on schedule. While Mark played music, Mary would make sure to find the correct person, whether the bride and groom or another special guest needed for the upcoming events of the night so they were prepared when Mark announced what we were doing. For example, before we did the bouquet toss, Mary made sure to find me and make sure that it was a good time to do the toss in the next couple songs and to make sure I was nearby. They helped the whole night run smoothly and I think they had a huge part in creating such a fun night! Multiple family members and friends reached out to let us know how much fun they had dancing and how much they loved the music played. Thank you Mark and Mary for an unforgettable night! We highly recommend!

Mark was so incredible to work with for our wedding day. Years ago, he provided the music and sound for my brother's wedding, and I knew he would be the right person for our wedding. Mark is so knowledgeable and professional. We spoke on the phone several times prior to the wedding day. Mark was already prepared with questions for me, which was so helpful because I didn't always know what to ask. He sent me a helpful checklist of different events/moments throughout the day that would have music and allowed me to select any song that I want. It was also helpful in knowing which traditional events we did not want to include in our wedding (ex: bouquet/garter toss, cake cutting). He was open to our music choices and allowed me to create a playlist (using Spotify) to use for the cocktail hour and dinner. I also provided a list of songs we liked for the reception and then he created an amazing party from that. Truly, EVERYONE was dancing and having a great time! He provided sound for our ceremony as well, which included a last minute change to an indoor ceremony (rain!). He was so prepared and everything went off without a hitch. His wife Mary joins him and is the person coordinating on the ground (helped with the timing of bridesmaids walking out for the ceremony, coordinating the toasts at the end of dinner, and more). I couldn't be happier with our choice to use Mark Yester of North Pittsburgh Music!
Note: Our wedding was in central Pennsylvania, so Mark did travel for our wedding. It just incurred a small travel fee, but it was so worth it to have him provide our music and sound!
