Windmill Hill Barn Weddings & Events, LLC is a picturesque venue space located just three miles north of Manchester, Iowa. Built in the 1950s and filled with character, this venue provides an idyllic setting for a dream farm wedding. Facilities and Capacity

Windmill Hill Barn was recently restored in 2018, bringing this beautifully rustic gothic arch style barn into the future. There are two levels available in the facility, plus outdoor patios, which can seat up to 300 of your loved ones. The upper level can host a party of up to 200 guests, while the lower level can accommodate roughly up to 100. In addition, the second floor is wheelchair accessible. Chairs and tables for up to 250 are provided. With additional seating for 50 outside, the outdoor decks and a large patio with tables and chairs create a flexible event space for celebrations of varying sizes. A nearby fire pit offers an inviting atmosphere for guests to gather and socialize. Couples can enjoy a kitchen built in the old milkhouse, modern restrooms, sound systems on both levels, a flat-screen television, antique farm items, and more. We have many decorations that are yours to use at no extra charge. If it is cooler on your special day, there are furnaces available to warm both levels up a bit. For warmer weather, both ends of the barn open up to let the breeze flow, also allowing for an abundance of natural light. The nearby old corn crib building has been remodeled for the wedding party to enjoy. Here, you’ll find spacious dressing rooms, a private reception area, and a private restroom. With heat and air conditioning in this building, this area ensures maximum comfort as you prepare to say “I do.” Guests with young children may also find this area ideal for some quiet time during an eventful day.
