I can't say enough amazing things about Jessi and Wild June Photography. I wanted a documentary-style photographer because I wanted to be able to see the energy of the day - not just the perfect posed photos, although she made sure we had some of those for our families. What she delivered was better than we could imagine. From the very beginning, Jessi was professional, communicative and just a wonderful presence to be around.  We had some hiccups and she adapted seamlessly. 

She gave us a timeline, had amazing vendor recommendations, and even helped me with some design details when I asked her! But truly, beyond her professionalism and kind demeanor, Jessi is an amazing and talented photographer. She caught moments of the happiest day of our lives in true candid form. We were able to be fully present in our day and enjoy it. The photos she took are authentic to our day and are beautifully us. Oh, and she takes film photos too?! What more do you want?! If you are looking for this style of photography, Wild June should be first on your list. 

Jessica (Wild June Photography) is really, really, really wonderful at her job. From our first zoom meeting many months out from our wedding, all the way to where we are now (a month post wedding) Jessi has been incredible every step of the way. The resources she shared pre-wedding helped us so much to plan our day. Having her with us on the day was perfect, I truly could not have dreamed up a more calming and kind presence to have by our side. Our families loved her, we loved her, we TRUSTED her. She was incredibly communicative, kind, and on top of everything in the best way. And I haven't even gotten to the fact that we are truly over the moon with our wedding photos. The mix of film and digital, black and white and color, close up detail shots and gorgeous posed photos with our loved ones, just truly ALL of the photos that I dreamed of. Jessi is truly a gem in the wedding industry, and we can't recommend her enough.

Jessi absolutely exceeded any and all expectations we had for service and photography. The photos were absolutely stunning and timeless. She came to both our welcome dinner and reception and told a beautiful story through the lense of her camera. Jessi was responsive, bright, professional, and warm the entire process of planning and working with her. She never missed an email and made sure to keep us in the loop of everything and made herself available to any questions we had.

We could not be happier with her. The photos just scream opulence and class. It was money absolutely well spent and worth every single penny.

Jessi (Wild June Photography) was absolutely the best photographer to work with. Going into wedding planning, we were really apprehensive about photography. Both of us wanted the day documented, but hate having our pictures taken. Jessi went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, and we absolutely adore our resulting photos - she melted into the background but managed to make us look stunning! Our priority was getting the emotions of the day documented. Looking at our photos absolutely transports us back to the moment, and they’re now some of our most cherished photos of friends, family, and ourselves. We were also really impressed by her ability to work across a broad spectrum of lighting conditions, body types, and skin tones.

Beyond the photography, we really appreciated how wonderful and accommodating Jessi was. We had a small wedding full of LGBTQ+ people, including immunocompromised folks and people who had high privacy needs. Jessi was so willing to accommodate - she fully respected the pronouns of trans and nonbinary folks, was comfortable around queer and poly relationships, embraced all of our wacky offbeat ideas for the day, was willing to keep photos private, and even took a covid test to protect our loved ones! We really appreciate the extra mile Jessi went to work with us, especially when she is in such demand for clients. At a time when community is so important, we were really touched by the care that Jessi took supporting ours. If you want candid, emotional, documentary photos that are still technically magnificent then Jessi is your person!

As the two of us can be a bit awkward, I was amazed at the photos she captured on our day. She paid a lot of attention to detail and was very flexible when working with us. I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer who really grasps the “feel” of the day. I was so excited to receive the previews and she completed the whole portfolio so fast! Her editing style is beautiful and our family members said the photos look like they could be in a bridal magazine.

Jessi was amazing and provided above and beyond what we wanted. We had a non-traditional party instead of a full wedding and she was able to offer a photo package that perfectly fit our needs and budget. She was very flexible with communication and helped us nail down a time line for our event. She was also so professional and lovely to work with on the day of our event! I love that she uses film and digital camera, so we got a beautiful mix of photo styles. The final photo gallery was ready so fast and was completely stunning. Look no further for the best wedding photographer in Maryland! We chose Woodberry Kitchen in Baltimore as our venue, and Jessi from WildJune was listed on the preferred vendor list. With SO many photographers to choose from online, it was nice to have a narrowed down selection to help us get started w/ our research. As soon as I saw a few galleries on Jessi's website, I fell in love with her style. She seemed to perfectly capture the emotion of the day in a non-staged way which is exactly what I was looking for. We set up a Zoom call to see if we'd pass the "vibe check", and we clicked immediately. She is easy to chat with, extremely experienced and organized, had answers to all of our questions, and friendly but direct. You knew she'd be able to wrangle family and friends to stay on the timeline. She was quick and clear in her communication leading up to the wedding. On the day of, she arrived early and immediately started working her magic. She was somehow almost a fly on the wall while simultaneously being a fun part of the group. My bridesmaids said she felt like one of us! She kept everyone on the timeline throughout the entire day with ease. Her experience allowed her to know all the best spots at Hotel Revival, by the Washington Monument, and at Woodberry Kitchen. She somehow managed to not only shoot with her digital camera but also her film camera which are super fun to have in the mix of the gallery. We booked her through 9pm which was an hour before our reception ended, but she captured so much on the dance floor during an hour that you would never know she wasn't there through the very end. Not only was she an absolute delight to work with before and during the wedding, but she came through the DAY AFTER with a significant preview!! I don't want to say this is a guarantee for every couple, but I know we were the last wedding of her season so I have to imagine this was an exception and not the norm. She also delivered our full gallery on our 1 month anniversary. The package we booked comes with a physical photo book that she will design and choose the photos for which I'm so grateful for as it would probably take us a year to decide on what photos we wanted yet alone the layout.
