Overhills did a fantastic job with our wedding. The entire staff was friendly and lovely to work with throughout the planning process. They made sure everything went very smoothly the day of. The food was out of this world delicious, and all of our guests loved the food.

If you've never been to the monthly pop-up restaurant for White House Caterers at Overhills Mansion, you have to go! The service and food quality are excellent! We chose Overhills mansion for it's beautiful venue and co-located and excellent catering! We had a master chef at the wedding who was impressed by the quality of the food.

Whitehouse Caterers at Overhills Mansion was the best caterer and venue we could have hoped for. This was only the second place we visited as an option, and we knew from our first visit that this is where we wanted to get married! Our first visit was with Terri who provided us with a full tour of the facility and a cost estimate for what we had in mind for our day. Most of my communication thereafter was with Lynda, who I cannot say enough good things about. She answered every email in a timely manner, met with us at least 3 times (probably more) to go over logistics or any concerns I had, and I was lucky enough to have her there the day of our wedding as well. We had a very specific vision, as our wedding was Alice in Wonderland themed, and they were not only accommodating with our vision, but also went above and beyond to make everything perfect for us. We had our ceremony and reception there, with a brunch buffet for dinner, and all of our guests raved about the service and the food. We also had a short rehearsal there the week of the wedding where we met our day-of coordinator, Rosie, who was an amazing help the day of, especially with our ceremony. The waitstaff and bartenders even seemed like they were having a good time with our guests!

Some things to keep in mind:
PLEASE NOTE that these are not complaints, simply things to consider when choosing this venue.
1. We got married mid-afternoon on a Sunday because we wanted to be the only wedding that day. If you get married on a Saturday, there will likely be another wedding either before or after you.
2. You are able to drop off your decorations a few days before your event, but you will need to have help with getting all of your decorations out on the day of. You are not able to pick anything up the next day.
3. While we had a rehearsal, it was on the Thursday before our Sunday wedding. We were not able to have this scheduled until one month before the wedding, which was a little stressful, but honestly, it’s completely understandable. It is unrealistic to expect a venue to hold the space open for you on a Saturday for a $50 rehearsal fee when they should be booking another wedding or event that day.

Overall, Overhills and Whitehouse Caterers was the absolute best venue we could have hoped for. I cannot recommend them enough, especially Lynda and Rosie!

Great experience! Very easy to work with. Very accommodating! Answered my numerous questions and welcomed my many requests to visit (both from my daughter who lived locally and myself who lived out of state).

My wedding occurred on May 19, 2018. It rained all week, so my vision of a garden ceremony was out of the question of course. But, the staff was awesome, they kicked into high gear to make it a very special day for us. The staff was friendly, courteous, and professional. Our guest complimented us and let us know the staff was on point, the ambiance was amazing, the food was great and their overall experience was fantastic. Thank you White House Caterers and all of the staff for making our day so very special.

When looking for a wedding venue, we left our first meeting at Overhills knowing we had found the place. It’s a beautiful old mansion with an elegant and intimate feel and a lovely outdoor area (which we used for the ceremony). They guided us through every step of the process and were extremely flexible, as changes came up they adapted to help us create the perfect day. The catering is done in house and I don’t think they are joking when they tell you they can make anything you want for your menu. My husband and many of our family members have celiacs so we requested an entirely gluten free menu for all our guests, but people were almost in disbelief that the dinner rolls and chicken and waffle appetizers could possibly be gluten free. We got so many comments on what a nice location it was, the quality of the food, and how great the staff were. Additionally, their pricing is very competitive and they are completely clear about all costs up front, making it so much easier to work within a budget and really understand what you are getting. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice to have our wedding there, and hope to have reasons to go back in the future!

Today marks two months since I married the love of my life at Overhills Mansion on 10/29/17. As I sit and reflect on the close of 2017 and our amazing wedding I am so thankful for the phenomenal service Whitehouse Caterers provided us! This wedding venue and caterer does not disappoint! From the moment I stepped foot onto the property I knew this was THE ONE! From various menu selections, rehearsal planning, to the wedding day, everything was perfect thanks to Julia, Lynda, Lauren, Rossi our day of coordinator and the rest of the Whitehouse Caterers staff!! I cannot forget to mention how wonderful the food was thanks to Chef's cooking. Our guest raved about the mac & cheese bites! Even our day of coordinator Rossi made sure my husband and I got the chance to enjoy our delicious dinner which is a huge plus!! Overhills truly made us feel like family. Our guests are still talking (2 months later) about how Overhills Mansion is “absolutely breathtaking”, “so romantic”, and how our wedding was the “best wedding they have ever been to!". 2018 Brides-to-Be be sure to check out this venue! We could not possibly have been any happier with Julia and Whitehouse Caterers. From the first time she met with us, she treated us like family. She worked so hard to make sure everything happened exactly as we envisioned it, and was always willing to offer advice when we needed it. Overhills was a beautiful venue, and we received so many compliments on our wedding. The best thing about this venue is that it is a one stop shop. They made planning our wedding so easy. They provided catering, tables, chairs, linens, centerpieces, a day-of coordinator, and much more. The food was outstanding, and everyone said our wedding was the best they have ever attended.

Whitehouse Caterers is a package deal with the Overhills Mansion. The food was actually really good. The tasting is free to the couple, and if I remember correctly, $35.00 for each guest and they allow up to 4. My parents are both divorced and remarried, but the staff was flexible in allowing all 6 of our total parents to attend. The tasting itself was really fun. We got to wander around the venue which was a nice refresher on everything. You can bring one bottle of wine and they serve water, sodas etc. Basically, they have a buffet style dinner for you and all the other couples getting married around your same time and you can try everything from potato salad and green beans, to the chicken and beef carving station. I don't recall them having much out in the way of dessert but that may be because we knew were not serving it. They do also allow for changes to various "meal plan options". The couple can also order whatever they want even if it's not what is being served at the event to your guests. That does come along with an additional charge.
