Weddings and Vows

Dr Dan Hogan was amazing to work with. We got married on 6/6/2026. We booked his services back in April of 2025. He had frequent messaging and was flexible with meetings since we live out of town in Charlotte. We met for our first in-person meeting in December, and he did a little counseling and was very nice and helpful. We opted to do the personality test with him, and he was super helpful, and you could tell the work and love he puts into his work. For the officiant side, he was super flexible; he gave us examples of ceremony words, and I was able to customize how I wanted the ceremony words to be. He was amazing to work with, and I highly recommend him.

We couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful minister for our wedding! He was incredibly kind and thoughtful throughout the entire process, offering to meet with us beforehand at a location convenient for us and making our ceremony feel personal and meaningful. Even after the wedding, he has continued to follow up and offer assistance with our marriage paperwork and name change, which we’ve truly appreciated.

Dr. Dan was thorough and professional from the very beginning. Our initial meeting gave us the opportunity to get to know one another and learn about his many years of experience working with couples. This was especially helpful in making sure we were a good fit.

We were very much on the same page when it came to our religious beliefs, which was important to us. Dr. Dan offered thoughtful advice and provided sample vows for us to consider. He then helped us put our vows together in a way that felt personal and meaningful for our special day.

Throughout the entire process, Dr. Dan was professional yet warm and personable. During the ceremony, he spoke clearly and was easily heard by all of our guests. He also handled the entire marriage licensing process, making everything simple and stress-free for us.

We truly appreciated Dr. Dan's guidance, attention to detail, and the care he put into helping make our wedding ceremony special. We would highly recommend him to any couple looking for an experienced, thoughtful, and professional wedding officiant!

Everything went perfectly. The officiant was very helpful with everything we needed. He had pre-made ceremonies, which helped us a great deal. He offered good counsel and met with us to walk us through everything so we knew what to do.

Dr. Hogan was amazing! My (now) husband and I decided to do a destination wedding and thus did not have a known officiant for our ceremony. We chose Dr. Hogan based off of the multitude of other positive reviews he received, and I can confidently say that they were correct. He is communicative, kind, and easily approachable. He made the process absolutely seamless and so easy- taking care of printing and sending completed forms so we did not have to worry about it, which was an added bonus. Since we did not know him previously, Dr. Hogan made the effort to meet with us prior to our wedding to become acquainted and learn more about me and my spouse. He was thorough in his communication and was always available to answer any questions I had. We actually had multiple people come up to us and compliment the ceremony- stating that he had officiated the best wedding ceremony they had ever been to. They specifically highlighted his genuine nature and heartfelt words. I cannot say enough positive things about him- 10/10 highly recommend!

Dr. Dan Hogan was a wonderful officiating minister for our wedding! I cannot say enough nice things about him. He met our needs in every way, and we felt he let us have creative freedom with our ceremony, while also helping us adjust and add things that were very nice additions to our wedding.
Dan is very efficient - any time we sent an email or communication to him, we received a response almost immediately. This made the usual stress of planning a wedding much lighter. He also took the time to meet with us before our wedding to go over what it takes to be successful in marriage. This was much appreciated, as my now husband and I learned even more about each other and got to share our important values. He was also a great help in printing, signing, and sending off our marriage license itself. All we had to do was apply for it and he took care of the rest!
As far as the ceremony itself, I could not have been happier! Dan is warm and caring, and executed the ceremony perfectly. I cannot recommend him enough. Thank you for the perfect day!

Reverend Dan was incredible. We were looking to elope and have a beach wedding, he made everything so easy. We lived out of state. He helped us navigate the marriage license process and personalize our ceremony. He even helped us with a photographer and she was amazing as well. He made the ceremony so special. We cannot thank him enough.

Dr. Dan Hogan was an excellent officiant and made the whole experience so seamless and stress free. His level of professionalism, kindness, and wisdom is exactly what we were hoping for. He went the extra mile for us every step of the way and not only helped us craft a beautiful ceremony script but also took the opportunity to sit down and talk with us about what Marriage truly is and how amazing and wonderful our wedding was going to be. Dr. Hogan was hired after google searches for my son’s wedding. He was in contact with the couple, asking questions, and had an overall interest I believe in knowing them and being their minister for this blessed event. He was prompt, and provided a traditional ceremony, I would recommend Dr Hogan, a very nice person and professional minister.

Pastor Dan was great! He met with us in advance to do a pre-consult as well as a final Zoom call to finalize all the details. He had a very good selection of standard ceremonies but was also flexible for us to adapt our own personal vows. Would highly recommend!
