Dr. Dan provided us with a special and meaningful ceremony. It was obvious that he truly cared about making that moment the very best it could be, and he delivered. We will forever look back on that day with fond memories of the ceremony and the moving words that Dr. Dan had prepared for us. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for an officiant! -

Dr. Hogan was such a blessing to my husband and I. We live out of state and it was so easy to work with him. He gave great recommendations on our ceremony language and the service was beautiful. We’re so glad we found him! He also helped give us a Myers Briggs test and went through our results. It was really interesting to learn what our strengths and weaknesses are. Dan was exactly what we wanted for our wedding. He was a pleasure to get to know and we really appreciated his dedication to his role. We got a chance to make introductions in person a few months before our wedding and he made the time to sit down with us for about 30 minutes to get to know us and learn about us as a couple. His communication skills are outstanding as he got back to us so quickly on all of our emails. He was also a tremendous resource for us as he is knowledgeable about marriage licenses, offered several different options for our ceremony, and offering guidance on how to do the name change process. We appreciated his flexibility as we frequently assured us that any decision we made regarding his role in the ceremony could be changed up until the wedding and he would be happy to oblige. We appreciated every interaction with him and would recommend him for any ceremony! -

Dr. Hogan was a delight to work with! Planning a destination wedding can be challenging, but Dr. Hogan's clear communication and quick responses made planning our wedding ceremony stress-free and fun. We thoroughly enjoyed the process of completing our Myers-Briggs personality surveys and felt it was a great way to learn about ourselves and each other, and for Dr. Hogan to understand us on a deeper level. When it came to our wedding day, our ceremony was one of the best moments of the day. Dr. Hogan's comfort put us at ease when nerves may have taken over, and captivated our loved ones with his beautiful words and warm presence. We were thrilled to see how attentive everyone was, even on the biggest college football day of the year! We cannot recommend Dr. Hogan enough to provide a beautiful, memorable ceremony, that not only affirms your relationship with your partner but reminds all of your loved ones of the strength of their own relationships. Dr. Dan Hogan was very helpful from start to finish when officiating our wedding. He made the ceremony very special! My husband and I decided to keep it simple and get married, just the two of us, on the beach. We reached out to Dan and he called that same day to answer any questions. We had never been to SC and he was very informative about the area and recommendations. Dan walked us through getting our license and beach permit online, we chose a ceremony and we were set! He was very helpful through the entire process, exceeding our expectations. The day of the wedding arrived and he had all the paperwork organized and made us feel very comfortable. Dr. Dan Hogan was an excellent addition to our wedding day and I can't imagine our ceremony without him. He took the time to meet us prior to our Big Day and incorporated our own personal touches into the ceremony script which was so special. Since our wedding, we have received so many compliments on our ceremony preached by Dr. Dan. He worked with us every step of the way to create a ceremony that was intimate, appropriately lengthed, and meaningful. He was such a pleasure to work with, explaining how to get our marriage license online in SC (We were from out of state.), and then neatly packaging up information on how to change my name afterwards with our copy of the license after the ceremony. I cannot recommend him enough! -

Dr. Hogan was extremely personable and professional as we worked through the details of our vow's ceremony. This was a surprise for my wife as it was our 30th wedding anniversary, and we honeymooned at Hilton Head, so I wanted this to be extra special.
Dr Hogan listened to the stories I shared and created a specific and special service for the occasion.

Rev. Dan was incredible....hands down. My husband and I were in between churches at the time and did not have someone to officiate our wedding.
We met Rev. Dan once before the wedding, yet he felt so familiar to us. He was very attentive and made sure he caught what was important during our ceremony. Everything was perfect and Rev. Dan will always have a special place in our hearts!

We have known Dr. Dan Hogan for approximately 20 years as he was the pastor that first married us. We wanted him to marry us after we attended a wedding he officiated because he was so compassionate and personable. When it came time to renew our vows 20 years later, we were ecstatic that he was still performing ceremonies. He put a lot of thought and care into our renewal vows, backstory, and prayers for us. It was a day we will never forget. He also took care of all the details and recommended several different places and was very accommodating with our schedule as to the day and time we needed. We are beyond grateful to him and his continued ministry. It would be hard to find a more caring person to officiate a wedding or renewal ceremony.Weddings and Vows's reply:
