From our very first call with Karolina, we immediately clicked. She was warm, friendly, funny and, most importantly, incredibly transparent about the entire wedding planning process. We felt comfortable with her straight away and trusted her completely. We could honestly go as far as saying that one of the reasons we chose Barcelona for our wedding was because of Karolina and how confident we felt having her there to guide us through it.

Throughout the many months leading up to our wedding, the communication and organisation were exceptional. Everything was incredibly well structured, from the folders and documents to timelines, decisions and payment schedules. Karolina was always on top of us to make sure we made the decisions we needed to make on time, which, looking back, we were extremely grateful for!

What really stood out to us was how far she was willing to go to make our ideas happen. If we had a question, problem or very specific request, she would always find a solution. For example, I had my heart set on a particular style of tablecloth that was either unavailable or completely reserved everywhere. Instead of simply telling me it couldn't be done, Karolina personally went from fabric store to fabric store looking for the right material so we could have them made. That level of dedication was something we experienced again and again throughout the planning process.

Her knowledge of Barcelona was also invaluable. She knows the city incredibly well and has relationships with some of the best vendors, which meant we had brilliant recommendations for everything from catering and hotels to restaurants and other suppliers. Because of her long-standing relationships with many of the vendors, she was also able to negotiate great prices for us. She knew which months would work best for the outdoor wedding we wanted and helped us make so many important decisions based on her experience.

She also gave us an extraordinary amount of her own time. Karolina personally spent hours driving us around Barcelona to meet caterers, visit vendors and view hotels for our guests. There was never a feeling that something was too much trouble.

We also have to mention her assistant, Sofia, who was absolutely outstanding. She was constantly one step ahead, often dealing with things before we even had the chance to ask. She would make calls on our behalf, chase suppliers and even repeatedly follow up with a hotel that seemed determined never to reply to us! Between Karolina and Sofia, we always felt like somebody was looking after us.

On the wedding day itself, Karolina was incredible. Our décor and set-up were quite complicated, with lots of different elements and vendors to coordinate, and somehow she managed everything perfectly. She was juggling countless moving parts while making sure everything was ready on time and looked exactly as we had imagined. As the bride, whenever I had an issue or needed something, Karolina would immediately step in, either helping me herself or finding the right person and sorting it out so that I didn't have to worry about it.

The final result was beyond anything we could have imagined. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful, and we are so proud that it will now be featured in magazines. So much of what made the day what it was came down to the enormous amount of work, care and attention that Karolina and Sofia put into it.

Looking back, we are incredibly happy that we chose Wedding Stories and genuinely wouldn't have done it any other way. By the end of the experience, Karolina and Sofia felt much more like family than our wedding planners. Karolina planned our wedding in Barcelona last summer in July 2022. We had such an amazing experience with her and would not change a thing.
