Nagwa is amazing!! She is magical. It's like she pictured the dress of my dreams and brought it out for me to try on. I didn't even notice it while I was walking around they're huge collection of dresses. The staff is so kind and accommodating.

Nagwa also did the alterations on my dress. Again, magic. At my first fitting, she pinned and pinned and pinned some more. At the second, I tried it on and it was just a tad big. She told me to take it off, but not go anywhere, and she didn't pin a thing. She went in the back and within 5 minutes she came back and it fit absolutely perfect!! I had to go back for a third and final fitting, just because of all the detail on my dress and the results were stunning!! Better than I had ever imagined!! In my opinion, I had the most unique and perfect beach wedding dress I could have ever dreamed of! Thank you Nagwa and Wedding Gallery team!!

Love,
Kim

I loved that I could get a dress in my price range. I only wanted to spend around $500. The woman that helped with the dresses was awesome! It is an "off the rack" place.
They only negative... The amount of money they wanted to alter my dress to fit was more than the dress cost!! I found someone else.

I purchased my dress from the Wedding Gallery in St. Charles. I was the only bride in the store at the time so it was great to be able to have the entire store essentially to myself. I had previously tried on dresses at another store and was totally turned off to the idea of trying on more dresses, the first time around I was so uncomfortable, the had me in so many layers and so much material that I could barely even breath in the dresses that they were putting me in, even though I had told them that wasn't my style they didn't really offer any other suggestions.

My mother then suggested that we go to the Wedding Gallery and I am so happy that she did. Immediately I found the experience to be so much more enjoyable - I knew before I even left the dressing room with my first dress on that it was "the one" by the way I felt in it, I was finally comfortable, and it had all of the aspects that I had requested. Honestly I thought that after my first go around at the other store I would have to change the style of dress I wanted because I didn't think I could find anything that was comfortable in that style, but the Wedding Gallery came through with flying colors. I honestly can't wait for it to get here!

I actually bought my dress at The Wedding Gallery on Chippewa, and then had my alterations done at the St. Charles location. Everyone was very nice and professional, but I was especially impressed with Lena, my original sales consultant. She asked me what I wanted in a dress. I described what I liked, and she was able to pull several dresses that were exactly to my taste. I ended up buying the first dress she selected. My only complaint is that the alterations cost almost as much as the dress.

I stumbled upon the Wedding Gallery by accident. My mom and I both happened to have a free saturday and on a whim decided to go look at wedding dresses that day. We had been to a few shops with my bridal party and I had seen some wonderful dresses, but I just hadn't found the one yet. The Wedding Gallery got us a last second appointment without issue. We walked in, described what I liked and Paula said, I have a dress in mind. We grabbed that dress and of course a few others. I tried a few then we got to the one Paula suggested. As soon as I was in the dress (even without a mirror in the fitting room), I knew it was my dress. I walked out and my mom knew too! Then Paula brought over some beading detail that we could add and it was a done deal. She knew exactly what she was doing! We ordered the dress that day and I left so excited. Then a few days later I received a call that they wanted me to come be remeasured. There was a minor mistake with the ordering form and they wanted to be sure we were ordering the correct size. They were so sweet about the mix up and were very accommodating to make up for the time I spent driving back to the shop. I was just glad we caught the mistake early! My alterations were wonderful! They added the beading with such attention to detail that everyone thought it was original to the dress. They also worked to find the correct bustle for my complicated train and made sure my family knew how to complete the bustle by color coding the strings. Everything they did was amazing and gave me the true bridal experience! My only complaint would be that I couldn't take pictures to send to my bridesmaids before purchasing the dress. I understand the policy but in the moment I definitely wished I could show my girls!

I went to their location in St.Louis. I am an older bride. I have been dating my fiancé for 13 years and when he wanted a big wedding, I balked. Ha, I have since become wedding obsessed. I want it all. I am 53 short and plump. I dreaded finding a wedding dress more than anything. I knew exactly what I wanted. I went alone to the location in St Louis and Jessica met me at the door. I did not have an appointment and just wanted to look. My first place! She was alone as it was a weekday and explained that I was welcome to look but she had an appointment with someone she was waiting for. I agreed. My wedding was not until May but that was 5 months out and she said I would have to look for something off the rack. She said her appointment had not arrived so I could try on a few. I did not really want to but agreed. Jessica is cute, young, thin, and blonde. Not someone an old frumpy woman would want to help them. I felt so comfortable with her. She made the experience wonderful. I tried on a dress and loved it except it did not have sleeves which I had my heart set on. But I loved the dress. She called and talked to the alterations lady and even got her on a video call to see if she could construct sleeves. She said she could. It was a discontinued gown so matching the lace would be difficult. I understood that they had some lace that she could construct new sleeves. I almost cried when I went to the St. Charles and she had nothing that was even close to the lace on the dress. I am still giving it a 5 because of Jessica. She was great. She made me try on other dresses just to make sure I liked it and was not pushy at all. If you want a wedding dress, ask for Jessica. She is the best and will do everything she can to make sure you get what you want.

While the selection at the Wedding Gallery locations is mediocre. It was really the situation after the purchase of my wedding gown that is so disgusting. I purchased a sample Romona Keveza gown for $2500. I paid for it up front, despite the fact that it had a HUGE stain on the top of the dress. They swore they could get the stain out so I took them at blind faith and gave them the benefit of the doubt. At that same appointment, I asked for alterations to be made and per each change, asked for an estimate. The woman helping me that day, Beth, stated they would be no more than "a couple hundred dollars." We (my fiance who came with me, mother via cell phone, and myself) all heard the same thing. Two weeks later, I came in to meet with the "seamstress." It seems that despite the quote of a couple hundred, these alterations would amount to over $3,000 in addition to the $2,500 I already spent buying the dress. When I asked if this could be discussed or how we can remedy the situation, I was told too bad and that the owner refuses to speak with me. Mortified and sadly, I went back, picked up the dress and was told by THREE other tailors that these alterations would be no more than $700 with a skirt being handmade and beading done included. Apparently, this company's M.O. is that they get you to buy a rather used sample gown for a reasonable price and then hike up the alterations. They also require you to buy on the spot so once the dress is purchased, they can make you feel forced to now get them to do alterations. It is almost disgusting business. I WARN ANYONE BUYING THEIR GOWN TO LOOK ELSEWHERE! This is a sham, frankly a miserable experience, and by the way, the alterations I am now having and then some are only costing me $700 TOTAL. Beware! I felt I have to post a review as a cautionary tale to other brides.
