Waveland was absolutely lovely!!
We wanted an outdoor wedding that we could DIY as much as we wanted at a low cast - Waveland was the ticket. The staff was responsive and helpful through every part of the process. The location could NOT be more beautiful and it was our dream day. We also rented the small room w AC for our bridal party which was the best decision we made all day. The barn was great for food and dancing and the field was perfect for the tent. We had 250 guests and loved every minute!Sent on 07/29/2019

This is a GREAT location for an outdoor wedding. It was very inexpensive (only $500) and they have a beautiful historic building and gardens. We got married in on of the gardens at dusk and the sunset was perfect. We also set up a tent in the field for our reception and it was BEAUTIFUL!!! The keepers of the grounds were so nice and they even set up lanterns on the walkways for us!! It was great!!! Only one problem.....it is very close to a railroad track and in the middle of our ceremony the train did go by and blow its horn. We all laughed about it and knew it would happen! it was practically in our program!! PAUSE FOR TRAIN!! Still very much worth it!Sent on 06/12/2008
