Larry is the owner of the flower shop and he works directly with the brides. I had three meetings with him prior to the date of the wedding to make sure that we were on budget and schedule for everything. Every time I sat down and talked to him, he made me feel like I was the only bride he was working with. The flowers that him and his team did for me were incredible, absolutely amazing and pretty much center focus of the wedding! I would recommend hiring them for your wedding!

I am incredibly happy with our experience with Larry and the wonderful florists at Washington Square. From the consultation to seeing our wedding flowers, it was a smooth process. Even after on a whim, I decided to change some of the flowers the day before the wedding, Larry was very helpful and even sent me pictures to make sure that the flowers I selected were to my liking and that everything looked exactly like I had envisioned it. Everything was gorgeous and I had many of my guests say they were the most beautiful flowers they had ever seen! I would HIGHLY recommend Washington Square Flower for your wedding needs!

Washington Square Flower Shop is an amazing local florist who is willing to do pretty much anything to ensure that your day is a complete success. I have to give specific shout-outs to Larry (the current owner) and Bob (the previous owner) for really helping make my flowers perfect, even when I had a bit of a meltdown during my first consultation. I went into that first meeting with conflicted feelings about which flowers I *wanted* versus which flowers I *should have* and quickly got overwhelmed. (Not my finest moment.) Although we left the shop having made perfectly fine selections, I kept second-guessing myself and eventually came to the decision that I wanted to switch the order to my initial dream flowers. At that point, Bob came in as back-up to make me realize that the wedding day was my day and that I could have whatever flowers I wanted - and that they would make them the best ever. They even accommodated my crazy schedule to meet with them again since I lived 4 hours away and was doing most of my planning remotely. Between Bob and Larry, they ended up coming up with perfect flowers that were gorgeous. AND, they showed up so nicely in pictures - we've gotten many compliments on how the contrast of the red and silver really visually worked with the blue dresses that our bridesmaids were wearing. I can't recommend them enough!

Washington Square Flower Shop knows their stuff! When I had my meeting, I pretty much told them what I liked (lots of colors, different flowers, and some accents added) and they easily made it happen. What I thought would be tough, they made super easy! They ask all the right questions and then take the info and whip up what you want for you. They also helped immensely with other things that could get stressful, like the little tedious things...aisle runners, candles, etc. It never hurts to ask, and when I asked, nothing seemed like too big of a deal or something they couldn't handle. All my stress and pressures were relieved!

By far the best experience. They made arrangements for the church that complimented my home-made bouquets and were absolutely beautiful and very inexpensive.

I booked Washington Square before I even had a reception site!! I love the work that they do for all occasions and knew they would take great care of me on my big day. I went in with a vague idea of what I wanted and the staff made my dream come to life. The flowers were more than I could have asked for. In my preview meeting, they totally revamped my bouqet as my tastes had changed. The prices are also reasonable. The staff set up everything at the church and reception site that day so I had nothing to worry about. Hands down, they have the best flowers in Washington!

Two weeks before our wedding, we cancelled our florist and booked Washington Square Flower Shop and they were absolutely phenomenal! My mom took care of setting everything up so I didn’t have much contact but they reassured her that they would have all of the flowers I wanted. Because of the late scheduling, they weren’t available to deliver, but everything was ready to be picked up first thing in the morning. The flowers were absolutely beautiful with only one complaint of a little bit of browning on the tips of one particular rose in my bouquet, but it by no means ruined my bouquet and wasn't extremely noticeable. I also feel that I could not have gotten a better value for the flowers that I ordered! Way to come through for us last minute Washington Square!!!
