Hello! My name is Erick and I am the owner and executive producer of WaqeUp Films. Shortly after graduating from the Art Institute of Philadelphia in 2013, I began my career in the film industry as a Production Assistant, working on many film/tv productions such as "Limitless", "Safe", "Do No Harm" and "The bachelorette".

In 2015, I began freelancing as a first AC (camera man) and also freelanced for local wedding film companies. During that time, I fell in love with the challenge of creating beautiful cinematic wedding films, however, I didn't want to only capture the "usual" or "traditional" events of a wedding but I wanted to emphasize on details and emotions to carry the story, YOUR story. And so, WaqeUp Films was born! Using high-end, industry-leading cinema equipment and bringing experience from the film and television industry, we capture an organic, unique perspective on your love story that will bring you back to the most unforgettable moments of your wedding day.
