We loved having our wedding at Walnut Creek. The grounds are beautiful! The food and service were outstanding! It was everything we could have asked for!

My reception was perfect and exactly what I wanted. The food was awesome and the staff was great to work with.

Walnut Creek Country was the perfect place for our wedding! It was more beautiful then we could have imagined and the staff was incredible at meeting our guests needs. There are multiple spots for breathtaking pictures and the venue coordinator, Nathalie, made sure the day ran smoothly. All our guests raved about the food and service. The only reason it's not a 5/5 is because the spot my bridesmaids and I were given to hangout before the ceremonty was the board room, while the men were able to get ready in the men's locker room with a bar and great sitting area. My girls and I sat around a board table because we were told we couldn't be in the women's locker room. It was not the most convenient or provide the best setting for pictures, but the staff was good about making sure we had food and beverages wherever we were. Besides that small inconvenience, which really didn't effect us for that long, it was perfect. Amazing setting for the ceremony and reception, fantastic staff, phenomenal food - an absolute win in my book!

Walnut Creek is a beautiful venue, and everyone raved about how gorgeous everything was and how outstanding the service was. Kristine, the event manager, did a perfect job the night of. I was a little frustrated because one of our entrees looked different the night of then it did in our tasting. It still tasted great, but when they put the plate down in front of me at the reception, I was shocked to see something different than I expected. I was able to avoid some extra fees because a family member sponsored our event, so if you're not a member, having someone sponsor you is a big help. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and the service really is outstanding, so even though we had a few little bumps in the road, I would recommend Walnut Creek without reservation.

The only thing this venue has going for them is the excellent service the waitstaff provides and the fact the country club is absolutely beautiful.In one of our times meeting with the wedding coordinator there (Kristine) she just flat out didn't show up, and almost every other time she was late.We really should have cut our losses and walked away when she didn't show up for one of the first meetings. Then comes the wedding..during our cocktail hour we had what I assume to be club members,being served the alcohol we were paying for,and also homecoming was going on so there was a dozen teenage kids hanging out during the cocktail hour and part way through the reception.I understand it's an open club to it's members but we paid a lot of $ and it would have been nice to know that there was a possibility that the members would end up being part of the cocktail hour.Let alone a warning that homecoming was going on,the kids were signing our guest book, and the coat room that they were hanging out by, that had our cards and gifts in was left wide open-when we're assured not to worry and that would be monitored.Almost half our cards went missing.Then we get the final invoice, which had a random 5% serv charge, which I have any recollection of her mentioning and isn't noted anywhere on the contract.Lastly,there was the bar..I had originally thought that doing an open was the best idea.But Kristine assured me that consumption bar is the way to go because it always comes out much cheaper.Except apparently in our case where the bar bill ended up being double what we had expected and budgeted.Maybe the cost of the bar bill had something to do with the bartenders serving top shelf when they weren't supposed to be,or the liquor they were straight pouring out.Beautiful facility,wait staff is top notch but don't trust these people.We feel completely taken advantage of.
