Wild Thyme Catering in Walnut Creek is fabulous! Sally and her crew know exactly what they are doing to make a special event simply wonderful! They took care of everything, and their attention to detail was so appreciated by all of us who were coordinating our Gala. The food was incredible and we kept hearing from our guests how much they enjoyed their dinners. Sally gets what it takes to have a successful party. She was there for us and that was so appreciated! We're not sure when we will host this large of a an event again, but Wild Thyme Catering has my loyalty and business in the future for business and personal events. Wild Thyme did amazing work for our wedding at Dunsmuir Historic Estate. We were so happy with everything. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the room was arranged perfectly and looked beautiful. And I can't tell you the number of people who have raved to us about the food and service. They were a pleasure to work with in the planning, and the execution was perfect. Can't recommend them highly enough.

I can't say enough just how amazing Wild Thyme Catering is! They felt like they were a little pricey at first, but they are worth every penny!! The food was just AMAZING! It was even better the day of the wedding than it was at the tasting! All of our guests couldn't stop talking about them and how great the food was. They helped set things up, they decorated the cake, they did so much more than I expected, and we just so enjoyed the staff. They watched after our guests to a tee! I never saw an empty glass, or a guest without a smile. It was because of them that our wedding was such a success, and we can't wait to have another event just so we can use them again!!

The Wild Thyme I used for catering my wedding was actually worked through Michael's Catering, located in Marina, CA (but this was the closest I could find). Besides that they felt somewhat expensive for the amount of food we ordered, they were actually one of the decently priced, for the organic quality, taste and originality of their food compared to many other catering vendors in the Monterey area.

Wow. Wild Thyme Catering is fantastic! We loved their food and appetizers. They can be hard to get ahold of, so plan early. This is a small company, so you get lots of attention. Wild Thyme was on time and very polite to all guests. They took care of all requests and any special needs.

Ginny and Sally are a pleasure to work with. We met many times at my convenience (i was arranging the wedding from out of state!) and they accommodated all of my guests needs. The staff was more than professional, they offered to let me use their decorations for my centerpieces, and the food was OUTSTANDING. My only qualm was that the menu we had agreed upon did not seem to be what was served (there were only 3 things on the buffet table?) and the bridal party didn't get any appetizers. However, overall they are lovely.

We really loved the food from Wild Thyme, and most of our guests said it was the best catering they'd ever had. If i had one complaint it would be that they weren't always quick to respond when I had questions via email. But overall we had a great experience and would recommend them and use them again.

Sally at Wild Thyme Catering is a very interesting & amazing woman! Ginny was very helpful, but NOT very organized. Overall they did an excellent job. They let us personalize our menu and we did a special 'mothers day wedding brunch' with omelet chefs! Everyone was very kind, and hospitable. The food turned out great, and simple - how we wanted it. They helped with alternate plans in case it rained, and were VERY knowledgeable about all aspects of weddings in general.

The food and selection by this caterer is great! Our wedding guests gave high praises on the food taste and our choices for the buffet. Their chef is very good. They catering staff was great to work with and provided excellent service on the day of the wedding. The reason I am not giving this place all 5 stars is because there were some challenges with the owner during the planning process, their customer service and organization during the planning process could be improved. I am very organized and a planner and they were a bit more casual with the quotes, etc than I would have liked. The ladies at the office know their business very well but can do a better job with providing brides with the professionalism and support they deserve. Because I know what a great staff she has though, I would still hire them again.
