Early on in our wedding planning we decided to serve funnel cake instead of cake for dessert. However, we still wanted a small token cake to cut for photographs and for any guests who wanted cake. We decided on a simple, small 2-tier cake. We searched our area for the best option, and sadly it was Walmart. However, I was initially excited because a design from their new line of 2-tier party cakes was exactly what we wanted. Simple, white cake, white buttercream, with a scroll-work design across the front of the cake. THEY CAN'T EVEN FOLLOW THEIR OWN DESIGNS!! When I ordered it, we established that the scroll work be the only design/decorating, one bold graphic design element across the front of the cake, just it like was in the picture.

When I picked up the cake, the day of the wedding, it was the tackiest thing I have ever seen. I mean, it's Walmart, I didn't expect it to be perfect...but it wasn't anything at all like the picture. The scrollwork was a completely different style than the picture showed, and it was all over the cake, not just simply across the front. And even the style they did wasn't done well. The wedding cake looked like a child's craft project, I didn't even want to serve it. I specifically told the photographer not to bother taking too many photos because it was HORRIBLE. Definitely would not recommend for a wedding OR ANY DECORATING JOB...not even if you like their designs b/c they can't pull them off.
