Working with Violet Press on my wedding invitations was a breath of fresh air. The owner Violet was in constant communication with me during the whole process, which I truly appreciated. My invitation turned out better than I could even imagine. Our guests haven't stopped raving about them. This place is a real gem and I can not recommend them enough!

We worked with Vi on a custom wedding invitation suite, and from the beginning, we loved our interactions with her! She was friendly, professional, and punctual, and she was very forthcoming with information via email. We were pretty picky and had a lot of feedback, and Vi responded to it all and incorporated it into our design. We also used her calligraphy services, which were absolutely stunning. All said, we will definitely be reaching out again any time we need paper goods! Excellent service and beautiful work!

I first stumbled upon Violet Press when I was looking for local CO goodies to include in my guest's welcome baskets. I fell in love with the "Adventure Awaits" design and thought that would perfectly compliment my travel-inspired wedding theme.

I contact Vi with the idea of custom designing my invitation suite (invitation, RSVP card, custom map) using that card as the foundation - she loved the idea and was totally onboard. Throughout the process, Vi was amazing to work with. She was very responsive, open to feedback, helped provide design and printing advice, and very accommodating. Vi also took great care in packaging everything up securely so nothing got bent in transition. The end result was beautiful - I'm so happy with how everything turned out! My guests were also impressed and many people told me it was the best invitation suite they're received!

I highly recommend Vi and would work with her again in a heartbeat.

Violet is absolutely amazing at what she does...which is create beautiful works of art on paper! The invitation suite was one of the items that I stressed so much over, and Violet was there to answer every question I could throw at her. Together, we made the most amazing invitation suite and I KEEP receiving compliments regarding the originality and beauty of her work!

Working with Violet was an absolutely pleasure. She was quick to respond and always had great suggestions that made my invitation suite even better. She understood that I wanted to stay within a budget and worked with me to make sure we did. I made a small mistake on my RSVP card which meant that they had to be printed. Violet was completely understanding and helped me rectify the problem and shipped it extremely quickly!
And her actual invitation suite is gorgeous. We went with the letterpress option. We sent out the shower invitations already and I'm getting calls from all my guests gushing about how beautiful they are!! I can't wait to send out the actual invites! And she does her own calligraphy!!!

These invitations were a highlight of my wedding, and the experience with Vi was the highlight of my planning experience. Our stationery was incredibly high quality and unique, but was also affordable.

I had a lot of trouble finding invitations- I wanted black paper with gold text in an art deco style. I was also particular about the texture of the paper and text. I did not want flat text on flat paper; I wanted the text to be embossed or raised somehow. I found some vendors on Etsy who could accommodate, and some other invitations I liked in that style at the Paper Source, but the price tag for those was at least $1800. Then, my fiance found Violet Press and Paper... I got so much bang for my buck with Vi- she custom-made the template for the invites (we started with standard templates, then she worked off my suggestions, and we created something totally unique); she backed the invitations with beautiful gold paper; and return addressed the RSVP envelopes; and she uses this really cool vintage printing press which gave the stationery the textured look I wanted - all for $1340.

Not only was the stationery beautiful and unlike any other invitations I've received, but Vi was very professional, patient, easy to work with, and quick to respond to all my inquiries. I was in my second year of law school while planning my wedding, and Vi kept me on schedule with these invitations and made sure we had things finalized in enough time.

I can't recommend Violet Press and Paper enough! If you choose Vi, you will not be disappointed.

Of all the vendors I contacted about this project, Vi was by far the most responsive and easy to work with. Since we're a nonprofit organization, she helped me consider all the options affecting cost, and even gave us a discount. They turned out beautiful. I definitely recommend Violet Press and Paper to anyone looking for a high-quality letterpress project.

Beautifully designed and crafted. Even better in person they took my breath away when I saw them for the first time. I have received so many compliments from family and friends on the unique one of a kind design created especially for me, plus the top notch craftsmanship.

The whole experience was a wonderfully positive one and we would highly recommend Violet Press and Paper. Here's how it went... Violet met with us and we had a pretty good idea of what we wanted. To add to that, my fiancé and I both work in design fields, so we were pretty particular about a lot of little details. Violet has a great design sense and she designed some absolutely beautiful invites. The turn-around was pretty quick considering all the labor that goes into the letterpress process. We received the finished product and we were floored; they turned out flawless. Beautiful craft.

I cannot stress enough how fantastic it has been working with Vi. When I first reached out to her she immediately invited me to her studio to learn a little bit more about letterpress and her process. It was so nice to meet her, talk about my wedding plans and look at her portfolio. I was also able to leave with lots of paper and envelope samples which was really nice. We ended up doing a custom order and she was completely upfront with me about all of the costs and gave me some amazing options in my budget. Throughout the entire process she kept me informed and really listened to all of my feedback and ideas. My invitations went out last month and they are absolutely BEAUTIFUL! All of my friends and family have been taking pictures of the invite and sending me texts telling me how much they love them. I know that I would not have had such a personalized experience and unique invitation had I worked with someone else.
