Mark played a huge role in making our wedding weekend unforgettable and he kept the dance party going all night long! Mark was my elementary music school teacher so as soon as I heard that he had started Vinyl Village, I reached out to him to DJ and emcee our big day at JQ Dickinson Salt-works right outside of Charleston. From day one he was excited, responsive, detailed and genuinely listened to what we had imagined. We planned our wedding from afar (TX) and Mark helped to ease the stress of the cross-country planning. Music plays a huge role in our daily lives so of course, our wedding had to as well. We created a sample playlist for Mark and identified the genres of music we wanted to hear most - for anyone planning, I highly recommend doing this and you surely won’t be disappointed! Throughout the evening we had at least 30 people on the dance floor at all times and I fully attribute the energy to Mark’s natural ability to read the crowd, smoothly hop from genre to genre and control the flow of the evening’s timeline while making it feel natural. Thanks for everything Mark, we’ll never forget how the music made us feel!

Vinyl Village was astounding! We requested a cocktail hour devoted to a specific artist and he was so chill about it. We loved working with him and the dance floor was never empty thanks to his awesome music selections - we trusted him to pick the best music for our reception and he delivered. 10/10 would get married again just to have him as our DJ again.

Perfect all around! Mark really understood our style and the vibe of the evening. We've had multiple people tell us it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding! Can't go wrong.
