I'm a curvy girl so clothing shopping isn't always easy. I called before to check if they had plus size samples. They let me know that they had some. I wasn't feeling too optimistic going in, but they carry a couple designers that are hard to find other places so I have it a shot.

I had a really clear vision of what I wanted having already tried on dresses at a couple other places before. I really liked two of the first three I tried on but they weren't THE dress. Based on what I liked and didn't like, she pulled a dress that looked absolutely perfect on the hanger and felt amazing on! But it was heavier than I was wanting for an outdoor wedding in late May. I was very seriously considering getting it anyways because I loved it so much.

The owner, Vera, walked by and heard the conversion. She ran to grab a dress that had just come in for a trunk show. Super similar but much lighter in weight. I tried in on and it was perfect! And because of the trunk show, I saved a little money.

I was so happy with the experience at this shop buying my dress! I'm going to have them do my alterations in house too and will update then.

To preface this review... I hate clothes shopping! I usually end up leaving a store empty handed and not liking anything I tried on. With that being said, Vera's was the first dress shop I went to and I didn't know what was going happen. Vera and a member of her team listened to what I was thinking of wearing, I showed some pictures, and I tried on gowns that were beautiful, but they weren't the "one". Vera asked my mom and my mother in law questions about me and my husband, what the venue looked like, and my interests. Then, Vera brought in a simple but elegant dress that was the most magnificent dress I could ever imagine! I put the dress on and started crying! I knew it was the one for me! When it was time to tailor the dress to my liking, I added a cap sleeve and the bustle was perfect. I couldn't ask for a better shopping experience. Every time I went into Vera's I felt so welcomed and very excited each step of the way. Not to mention, my mom and mother in law both bought their dresses for the wedding here too! I would highly recommend this dress shop for any bride! Thank you Vera and team!

I visited Vera's Bridal within the past week and am going back to finally buy the dress I tried on there. Alice was my sales associate and she made the experience absolutely amazing! She went off some pictures I'd shown her and she pulled out her own dresses that she thought I'd like. Funny enough, the dress I ended up choosing was one of her choices she pulled for me. She was very kind and patient. It was my first time shopping for a wedding dress, so she helped me with the lingo and helped me bring my vision to light. The store itself is beautiful and spacious! I highly recommend this store if you are looking for purchase a wedding dress. As a bride, who has felt little excitement while planning a wedding during COVID and all its uncertainties, Alice really made me feel excited and happy for that day. Masks and all, I felt like a true BRIDE. That means more to me than everything else. The alterations process was simple and my dress came out absolutely beautiful.

I said yes to my dress at Vera’s Bridal in 2019! Vera is EXCELLENT at what she does and helped me pick out the wedding dress of my dreams!! It was exactly what I was looking for and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. I was originally supposed to get married in August 2020, but we postponed the reception to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Vera worked with me to preserve my dress for the new date, pick out a fingertip veil for my small wedding ceremony in 2020, and reschedule my fittings for 2021. The seamstress does AMAZING work and pulled in my dress perfectly while maintaining the original shape and design of the dress. Vera and the seamstress helped me to pick out a cathedral veil to match my gown and I was ready to go to FINALLY wear my dress after 2 years! The shop is beautiful, clean, and well stocked and the communication and interactions with brides is great. I can’t recommend Vera’s enough!

I said yes to the dress at Vera's Bridal Shop. I had the pleasure of being paired with Molly. From the moment I told her my vision she was so attentive and caring. She listened to all my wants and needs and made me feel so special. I had bad experiences with other bridal shops before I came to Vera's so I was hesitant at first if I would even enjoy this process any longer. THANKFULLY this shop turned it all around for me. The VERY FIRST dress Molly selected was my dream dress and the one I went with. My mother and future mother in law as well as other people in the store were in tears seeing me walk out. I've never felt so beautiful in my life. Thank you Vera's Bridal and thank you so much Molly for all of your love and care.

I recently purchased my wedding dress at Vera's Bridal. I had one appointment to try on styles and said "yes" at my second appointment. From the moment my mom, gran, and I stepped foot into this store we were treated like VIPs. The store is a dream and everyone was so professional. Ellen was so kind and patient throughout the process and Vera and her staff made me feel so beautiful each time I came out in a dress. They were so helpful in giving suggestions and letting me know what details could be added in alterations. I am so excited to go back to Vera's and wear that dress!!

What a LOVELY experience I had at Vera's just yesterday. It was my first time trying on dresses. I fully prepared myself to leave without a dress, knowing how difficult bridal dress shopping can be. However, after only six dresses, I found my dress! This was due to the amazing, kind, knowledgeable women who know exactly what they're doing. Ellen and Vera were truly remarkable.

The salon itself is beautiful, with a large selection of gorgeous dresses. Whether you do or don't know what look you're going for, do yourself a favor and make an appointment at Vera's. Everyone should have the experience I had! THANK YOU!

I could not recommend a better bridal salon. Vera's is intimate while still offering a wide selection. She listened to what I wanted and I only tried on one gown! This is not to say this was the only bridal gown I tried, I had been to at least four other places and was beginning to get discouraged. Every aspect of the appointment was perfect however. I was feeling optimistic before she even started pulling gowns! Vera isn't pushy or trying to rush you into a decision. She is professional but also sincere and happy to be a part of making finding the dress that special moment that it should be. I was a last minute walk in that she was able to accommodate because of a cancellation and Vera even stayed open later to make sure I had enough time to try on dresses. It was a truly special experience.
