The Valley Dale Ballroom - The venue that saved our wedding! Long story short, we ended up changing venues from our original choice 45 days before our wedding. With a few options still available, we ended up choosing the Valley Dale.

I met Sahra, the boss lady (she runs the place- with grace, might I add) and she was nothing short of amazing and accommodating. I was a little skeptical at first because the Valley Dale is significantly different than the barn style wedding we were planning for roughly a year, however Sahra said it best, sometimes plan B is better than plan A. She was 10000% right and I had no idea how right she was until the day of our wedding.

We tried a different set up with where we got married (a circle ceremony) it was SO COOL!! The building already has a stage, an enormous dance floor and killer acoustics, we knew that this would be pretty fantastic since we had a band rather than a DJ- P.S. if you're looking for a band, looking further than Martini Affair is a waste of time. They were AWESOME and everyone (yeah, even Aunt Sally who doesn't dance) was up dancing, having the time of their lives!!

Also, there's a very cool bridge, walking distance from the venue where we took our photos... they came out BEAUTIFUL!!

With some hiccups in our wedding planning road, Sahra made it a smooth as possible. We got married at the end of September 2018 and are still continuing to get compliments on EVERYTHING!

Sahra knows what she's talking about- I was worried we wouldn't have enough bartenders, she assured me that based on the number of guests, that we would be fine, however if we wanted to add more, we could. It was so lovely to get her opinion, but she would accommodate any extra need if so desired. (P.S. we went with her recommendation and she was right again, glad we trusted her) It was a no brainer that we made the right choice, plan B was definitely better than plan A.

If you are looking for a wedding venue with a professional staff, that doesn't look like all of the other wedding venues, for a wedding experience that does't feel like all other weddings, go visit. From the history of the building, to the color changing crystal chandeliers, to the massive stage and dance floor- guys, you won't be disappointed. I promise, you will love this place!

First of all I want to say that I love Sarha. She has been helpful from the first day I met her. There were a lot of things that could have gone wrong but she made sure my wedding reception goes without any problem. I made my own centerpieces, she helped my family set it up. She made sure I got what I have asked for and then some. There were a lot of things my caterer ( PC catering) promised and didn’t deliver. It made me wish I should have taken made from scratch as a caterer because it would have saved me from all the false promises by PC catering which I would rate as 0 star if I could. However, Sarha made sure that we were taken care of including getting us drinks which she didn’t have to but the servers we hired from PC catering were not doing it. I loved working with her. She is easy to work with and very accommodating, my families were very impressed by her. As for the Venue, it is so beautiful, classy and spacious, I don’t have pictures yet but I will post it in the future. All in all I was a happy bride and my Husband and I are very satisfied customers and we recommend valley dale to anyone and from my experience I say take made from scratch as a caterer instead of other caterers.

We picked out Valley Dale 1.5 years before our wedding. We went to many many places. When we pulled up the Valley Dale i was not impressed... once we walked inside i instantly knew this is where we were getting married. The place is breath taking! you know how when your a kid, and you want that fairy tale wedding... yeah this is the place :) Dana was wonderful to work with! She helped us out with everything! We didnt talk for about 6 months due to booking out so far in advance but when i emailed/called her for anything she remembered who i was! The day of the wedding went very smoothly, we had absolutely no issues! I can not tell you how many of my quests were in awe of the venue. my wedding pictures are stunning thanks to the background of the ballroom. After the wedding i followed up regarding the security deposit- that was the only "issues" (if thats what you want to call if) we did not get it back 30 days after like stated HOWEVER- Dana responded to my emails and kept me updated, her husband even called me personally and apologized about the delay and asked about my experience with his ballroom. They went out of their way to make my day, MY DAY- and followed up all the way till the deposit was received. I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone who would like the least stress in planning their wedding! thank you for everything Dana!

I absolutely LOVE Valley Dale!! We had our reception (9/21/13) here and it could not have been more perfect! Our theme was Old Hollywood Glam, and Valley Dale could not have been more of a fit for this! Its such a glamorous and amazing venue! You feel like you've literally stepped into the 40s. The staff are really nice, professional and easy to work with. I cant say enough great things about Valley Dale! I would definitely recommend it to someone who is looking for a unique and charming venue :)

We had our wedding Reception and Ceremony at The Grand Valley Dale Ballroom this Fall 2012 and it was truly a romantic and warm venue. There are so many features the we enjoyed about this historic facility such as, the grand staircase that was great to introduce our wedding party before they came down and go seated at the head table, the balcony level with the very cool art deco bar for cocktail hour before our reception began, the stage that held our large wedding party of 20 people at the head table and the dance floor!

Our wedding pictures turned out so beautiful with the mirror ball shining while my husband and I dance our first dance. We are still hearing back from so many of our guests about how beautiful our wedding was.

Thank you very much for hosting our wedding reception at Valley Dale. We had a blast, and so did all our guests. And, a special thanks to you for being so great with our last minute changes. Everything was perfect and so much appreciated. Thank you ~ Thank you ~ Thank you :-)

We are still hearing from our guests on how beautiful and unique the historic ballroom looked the night of the ceremony and reception in March.  It worked out so well to host both our ceremony there and reception because the guests could go to the balcony level for cocktail hour after the ceremony.  Our guests really enjoyed the specialty signature drink that the event specialist, Robyn suggested for us.  During cocktail hour it was so cool watching our guests hang at the art deco bar, the same bar that Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra used to have their drinks.  I loved how everyone could look over the balcony and see my centerpieces and special candy station close to the dance floor.  When everyone was asked to come downstairs for the reception, the best part was having the entire wedding party introduced at the top of the grand staircase before they came down to get seated at the head table on the stage.  It was wonderful, romantic and a fairy book wedding!  

We wish great thanks to Dana, Robyn, and everyone else at Grand Valley Dale. Our guests cannot stop raving about how beautiful the venue was. The grand ballroom truly made our wedding reception a night to remember. Everyone loved the grand staircase that we came down when were announced. We also received several compliments of the bar staff Grand Valley hired, who were more than accommodating. Dana worked with my husband and I to make sure we understood the contract and what we were agreeing to. Robyn made us feel comfortable and stress-free at our final walkthrough. We were so appreciative that they let us come to the hall the Thursday before our Friday night wedding to setup all the linens and centerpieces. Grand Valley coordinated everything well with all the other vendors too. It was such a magical night and my husband and I have Grand Valley to thank for so much of it!! We thank you a million times over and wish you nothing but continued success.

My daughter was married June 4, 2011. The wedding and reception were held in the ballroom. The venue is beautiful and the staff goes over and above the call. We had made so many emails and phone calls towards the last two weeks and everyone was so wonderful, never complained. The transition from the ceremony to the reception was flawless. I recommend them in every way.
My daughter was dreaming of her wedding there since we had been to a wedding there 12-15 years ago. Once again thanks to everyone. Suzi Zelinski

It may sound cheesy, but the Grand Valley Dale Ballroom staff helped make our wedding day magical. The venue is gorgeous and the staff was professional. This is extremely important on such an important day in a couple’s life. We knew exactly what we were paying for and what to expect. The venue is classy, but not stuffy. The staff is flexible and easy to work with. Our friends and family had a great time and are still taking about our wedding weeks after the fact. So many great musical acts have played at the ballroom.
