From the very beginning, their communication was exceptional—prompt, professional, and consistently proactive in coordinating with resorts, vendors, and us directly.

In addition to handling all travel arrangements for us and our guests, they provided hands-on support for the wedding day itself, something that we cannot recommend enough. They addressed and resolved potential issues behind the scenes, without ever needing to involve or stress us, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy every moment with each other. We even felt so comfortable that we asked Sarah to be our officiant only a couple months before our date. Of course she hit this out of the park as expected, as she carefully planned and wonderfully executed the role.

As a Type A bride and a groom who is highly analytical, we had high standards when it came to planning. Sarah and Alden were the perfect match for us! They carefully adhered to our budget and preferences throughout the entire process. From the very beginning, they didn’t stop searching until they found a resort that met every one of our expectations in which we outlined. Their bilingual fluency in English and Spanish also made a significant impact. With our wedding taking place in Mexico, their ability to communicate clearly with both the resort staff and our vendors ensured that nothing was lost in translation and that our vision was fully understood and executed.

Their specialized expertise gave them the tools to design and execute one of the most beautiful, seamless, and memorable days of our lives. This is not to mention that there was never any hesitation for them to jump in and get their hands dirty, when we needed to push for answers or clarity. Sarah and Alden at VacayMode Travels. I can’t recommend them enough!! I stumbled upon them while trying to attempt this on my own and they saved me so much time and money!! From the jump we had a meeting to discuss our wants/desires/location/time of year/guest count -> and narrowed down to our three choices of resorts. We decided to pick Majestic SIGHT UNSEEN (not like me AT ALL). But because they had had other couples get married here it settled all my fears. I never once coordinated with the wedding department myself, Sarah tackled all of that for me. About once month we had meetings to discuss (to do list, what needed to be done that month (ie: save the dates, head count with guest booking, changing room block count, excursion booking, honeymoon booking, guest transportation, suggestion on external vendors, reminders about vendor fees) THEY DID IT ALL. They saved us so much money with how we did the room block and navigated booking ALL of our guest, tracking head count, transportations. I have seen so many brides in this group posting about hidden fees, I had NONE. No surprises or anything come payment. BOOK THEM I promise it will be the best decision if you are freshly planning a destination wedding and feel lost.

With family and friends across US & Mexico we knew we wanted to get married at an all-inclusive but trying to narrow down the destination and resort venue that delivered the experience we were looking for was stressful. We had joined Sarah & Alden's facebook group for insight and ended up scheduling a complimentary consultation to see how they could help us.They were really good at getting information out of us and giving us things to consider, the price also wasn't bad. Soon after deciding to hire them we were sent some great venue options and we truly fell in love with one. They made the process so easy for us and are great communicators. We were so happy to meet them in person for our site visit and explore Mazatlán more. They are such a great couple and team and made us so comfortable and welcomed. We can't wait to come back next year to get married and choosing to go with Sarah and Alden to help us plan our wedding (and honeymoon and bachelorette trip) was the best decision we made.

Our experience has been nothing short of amazing. I feel zero stress while planning because Sarah and Alden create a timeline and help me through every step of the planning process. My biggest worries were just logistics and coordinating with the resort without being able to do site visits, or in person meeting with vendors. Sarah and Alden have handled all logistics and communication for us allowing us to focus on the exciting parts of wedding planning. I feel supported and relieved that we have them!

We attempted to start the wedding process on our own and both quickly got overwhelmed with trying to navigate booking cost, international differences, and communication with resorts was discouraging. Once finding your profile, explaining what all you both are able to offer it was a no brainer. I have been describing to my family and friends they are a magical wedding coordinator and travel agent all in one. Not only are they experts on what we need to manage on the travel side, but also experts in the wedding industry. In my opinion, the best of both worlds!

Sarah and Alden co-create a perfect balance for travel guidance. Highly organized in a laid-back fashion. Always available and easy to relate to. Give them a try, they do not disappoint!
