I used Urban Eve for hair and make-up for my wedding. I was a little piqued when they made me do a trial-run two weeks before my wedding, and I had to pay full price for it. I understand that the beautician's time is money, but I also feel like I paid for hair and make-up twice. I don't know, maybe that's standard. Besides that though, my hair looked great during the trial-run, but then on the day of my wedding, she wasn't able to get my hair to look as good, which was disappointing. I feel like that defeated the purpose of the trial-run. However, I would recommend this place for hair. Overall, she did a decent job. I would absolutely NOT recommend this place for make-up, though. Most of the beauticians really aren't that great at putting make-up on others. The foundation she used did not match my skin tone all that well, and my sisters ended up fixing it for me. One of the beauticians did a great job on one of my bridesmaids, but that was just one. Honestly, if you put on make-up every day and know what you are doing, save the money and do it yourself. I do not wear make-up daily, but my sisters do, and they could have done a much better job for me for free. I was underwhelmed with my experience at Urban Eve. They have a beautiful store, and I wanted to like them so badly, but it just did not work out as well as I would have liked.
