It all started with film.

UPTIME Film's owner, Jeremy Knight, began his journey in the film world with his parents' investment in his future—a monthly rental pass to Hollywood Video allowed him to indulge in three movies per trip. This early exposure to film sparked Jeremy's love for the medium. He would spend hours browsing the movie titles, often choosing films based on their attractive covers.

As video stores began to close, Jeremy's allowance increased, enabling him to visit the theater more frequently. The cinema became his second home, nurturing his growing passion for film. Eventually, he pursued his interest in the subject by studying film at San Jacinto College, where he honed his skills as a videographer, photographer, and editor.

With his newfound knowledge and experience, Jeremy embarked on a professional film and video production career. In the next 11+ years, he worked on hundreds of projects for his own company and collaborated with numerous production companies on various projects. The projects encompassed shooting and editing narrative films, promotional marketing and commercial content, and wedding films. Currently, he serves as the owner and creative director at UPTIME Films, where he continues to create compelling stories with the help of his trusty cameras.

Jeremy attributes his success to the unwavering support of his parents, grandparents, amazing wife Marissa, and beloved furry companion Yogurt. Their involvement and encouragement have been instrumental in nurturing his passion for storytelling, from his early days at Hollywood Video to his current role in the film industry.
