Kim was awesome in helping us envision and plan an important event from out of state. She was professional, responsive and reasonably priced. Kim was proactive in visiting the event site ahead of time when we were unable to. Skip the drama and call Unforgettable Events!

Kim was AMAZING! She totally understood my vision and did such a great job making our wedding ceremony and reception beautiful. She was so patient hearing all of my ideas and added such great pieces into the decor to make it look and feel exactly how I wanted it to. She set up on time, cleaned up super quickly and made it super easy and painless. So glad we had her help on such a hectic day, such a great job!

Kim is an amazing person! She is so kind and had so many different options and ideas to help me figure out our decor. She was extremely patient with me, even when I kept changing my mind. She was a joy to work with and I look forward to working with her again!

Kim Hardy is such a sweetheart to work with. She bends over backwards to make sure the bride (or whoever she's working with) is happy with the event decor. My wedding was absolutely gorgeous! She scouted the venue in advance to make sure she knew what she'd be working with, and everything came together beautifully. She even ordered additional materials for her store when she didn't have the right shade of blue I wanted for table runners. My cousin used her for her own wedding the year before mind and had a couple of complaints about how things were done, but I think it was likely an error in communication. My only personal complaint is that Kim was sometimes hard to get in touch with, which is truly understandable considering she was very busy with other events leading up to my wedding. I had to call and text a couple times to remind her that I still needed the quote she had promised me, and also had to remind her who I was when I was calling/texting. But in the end, everything was perfect. My guests loved how my wedding was decorated, so much so that a couple friends who are now planning their own events have called to ask me who my decorator was.

It was beautiful and well done. They are a very popular decorator in south eastern Idaho, so they are really busy. I felt a little bit of pressure because of that. She had a busy schedule and made me feel like she was "fitting me in," even though I had started planning 4 months before the event. She was pleasent to work with though, and did an amazing job. I just suggest planning early and making sure you are flexible with her schedule.

DO NOT WORK WITH KIM. She canceled on my sisters wedding 3 DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT. Because she “had a bad feeling.” She was our main vendor. We got custom drapes from her, table cloths, chairs, and the dance floor. 3 DAYS BEFORE we had to find everything to make her wedding come together again. She talked about how she works with high end companies, final product is amazing, and is super professional, but I can highly disagree. We understand her final product could have been good, but her work ethic, communication, and the way she runs a business is absolutely terrible. Do not even consider going with unforgettable events.

PLEASE READ IF YOU’RE CONSIDERING BOOKING—I am not the type to leave a bad review, but DO NOT BOOK WITH KIM HARDY- UNFORGETTABLE EVENTS.

We booked in April & paid our deposit, but working with her was a nightmare from the start. Communication was terrible & we waited months for our custom linen & draping samples, which she blamed on shipping delays (I now realize was likely a lie). We were extremely patient & understanding with her from day one.

Nearly one month out, she still hadn’t provided anything for our special-ordered napkins. After repeated follow ups, it was clear she wasn’t going to perform as she should have. My wedding planner even vocalized that she was worried & started sourcing backups. At that point, I wish I would’ve followed my gut & ran far away from this company. 2 weeks out from the wedding, I ended up ordering my own linen napkins & having her take them off the quote. Still to this day, I have not received an apology for her failure to provide after months of working with her. Around this same time we reached out to get an updated quote as we had head count go down a bit & the napkins still needed to be removed.

I waited for over a week to get a new invoice from her, & when I finally got it, 5 days before the wedding, her prices randomly changed & the invoice went up nearly $1,000. We immediately vocalized that we were confused & tried to get clarification on what was going on as the quote should have went down. She blamed half of it on a mistake in her calculations (& that it was final) & the remainder she would just say she’d remove the items entirely rather than providing clarification. It was clear she didn’t even know her own quote. Having to deal with this less than 1 week from the wedding was stressful enough. After two days of incorrect quotes & zero solutions, due to her responses being her prices are final & that if we weren’t okay with it she would just remove it (it being crucial items you need for a wedding: chairs, silverware, all linens, tent draping, etc). Ultimately, she threatened to cancel & went silent.

Our wedding planner reassured us & said that she trusts Kim & that she would still be moving forward. Many hours later (after trying to text and call her), she sends an email stating that she was cancelling her main services (tent draping, lighting, etc). She gave us the option to still rent SOME select items. But at this point, 3 days from the wedding- she had truly screwed us & how could we trust that she would show up at all if she was so quick to cancel. We were finally able to reach her AFTER she emailed us to cancel. Only to hear that her main reasoning was that she “had a bad feeling” & wanted to trust her gut- all of which is on a recorded phone call. She stated that she felt she wasn’t going to meet my expectations. At this point we offered to fully buy out the linens and draping we had custom ordered, as it’s impossible to find someone or find the products 3 days before a wedding. She immediately said no but kept stating that she’s losing money due to us. It feels as though she never actually got our linens in & was trying to find an out for herself.

Regardless, I truly think she had malicious intent behind her actions & honestly just wanted to see us suffer because we weren’t willing to pay any numbers she threw our way. We ultimately decided to not move forward at all and scrambled to find all items. Because there’s no way we could trust a person like her any longer. I truly wish I would have never met Kim or heard of her business. She is unpleasant & truly doesn’t care about her customers, it’s very evident here. If you are considering this business, PLEASE RUN THE OTHER WAY, unless you’re wanting to endure extreme amounts of stress, sleepless nights, & excessive amounts of money to remedy her actions. She is completely unprofessional, unreliable, & should not be allowed to work with people on such an important day. That said, no thanks to Kim, my wedding day was perfect. My loved ones stepped forward & created a day Kim couldn’t have come close to.

I was a bridesmaid for two weddings that hired this company to come decorate. They yelled at the bride in the first wedding, telling her that she couldn’t have things set up the way she wanted and that THE BRIDE needed to let them do their job. The bride was nice and timid when requesting things differently. In the second wedding we had just gotten our hair and makeup done and were in our robes when we noticed that none of the decorating outside in the barn venue had been done. We waited until about an hour before the ceremony and finally decided to jump in and get it done so that the brides day wouldn’t be ruined. We moved 4 BIG wooden barn tables out from the corner, if we hadn’t they would have blocked seating. We moved the cake table, card table, and gift table. The gift table was hidden outside of the venue on the far side of the barn, (not decorated) and where none of the guests would be. They sent two employees for the big venue, one of which sat with their baby the entire time. And for most of the time they were there, the other one sat on their phone! They didn’t start until we went out and started moving things. Which the owner yelled at the bride for wanting things moved to where the bride wanted them. She said we needed to cut the decorators slack as they were up late. As a business professional in wedding services myself, this is extremely unprofessional! If you are getting paid to do a job, you get it done and you do it right! Us bridesmaids were sweating off our makeup and ruining our hair, which we had just paid to get done and in our robes! We missed the getting ready photos with the bride so that we could decorate for them! Absolutely horrible service. The owner hung up on the bride when the bride contacted her letting her know her frustrations, she didn’t even ask for a refund, but just wanted to know her concerns. Unprofessional and her “expertise” is horrible!
