You can't go wrong with using Uncharted Love Photography! Alexa is absolutely fantastic to work with. From the first meeting with her, to the big day Alexa is there for you. My husband isn't the biggest fan of taking pictures, but Alexa has such a way with people and makes everything so easy and fun that even my husband enjoyed the process. I honestly don't think there is a single photo she delivered that I didn't love. We have so many great pictures, both posted and candid, that we will be able to enjoy for years. I would highly recommend her and I know I'll be contacting her again in the future!

She was very engaged throughout our planning process, and totally ran the show the day of the wedding. She is so sweet and outgoing, we truly felt like she was a part of the family. We love working with Alexa. She is incredibly talented and has a shining personality. She is fun, down to earth, and produces a great product. We have used her for 2 different sessions and consider her our family photographer. We love the sneak peak photos and the online proofing process. We used Uncharted Love Photography for our daughter's newborn pictures. Our session was in our home with plans for natural and posed shots. Alexa came well-prepared with various props, wraps, headbands, etc. We already had some outfits picked out for the session, but Alexa had some really cute things that we ended up using a mixture of both. With a newborn, you're basically at their mercy for cooperation. By the end of the day, we called Alexa the "Baby Whisperer". She did such an amazing job with our daughter (and son). You can tell she has a gift with children and babies. We never felt rushed or uncomfortable and I know it's because she really cared to make it the best experience possible. We had so much fun playing with our daughter and toddler son while she did her thing. Alexa is really good about giving instructions when you need them, so you never feel lost. During the posed baby shots, we stood back and happily watched as she handled it with ease. When the baby cried a few times, she didn't ask or expect us to take her, but rather soothed her quite gracefully, which really made us both feel comfortable.
I could go on and on about how much we enjoyed the session. But when it's all over, you want great pictures, right? Well, we loved them! It's a little hard to explain, but Alexa somehow finds a way to capture her subjects so naturally - meaning lighting, poses, framing, etc. Many of the photos we received seem to "glow" quite pleasingly. It's not an "over-edited" glow either; it looks very natural - like she was able to capture the light just right. One photo in particular caught me smiling while holding the baby by a window and it's one of my favorite photos ever - it perfectly captured the moment. We also got a photo book which is really well put together; we have received many compliments on it. Bottom line, Uncharted Love and Alexa will not disappoint. We couldn't be happier with our experience and pictures and can't wait for future sessions with Alexa.
