My husband and I greatly enjoyed working with Ashleigh and Type A Invitations on our wedding invitations, day-of stationery, and thank you notes. She is so organized and easy to work with. We met with her once, and upon leaving the meeting, we really felt like she knew exactly what we wanted. She created a beautiful custom painting of our ceremony site that she used in our invitation suite. She also created a custom envelope liner that was a map of the area where we were getting married. From the envelopes, to the liner, to the invitations, to the design, our wedding suite was absolutely amazing, and something I'll always treasure.
Working with Ashleigh was so seamless and smooth. She is prompt, efficient, and creates amazing work. She even lent us table sign holders for the day of free of cost. After she had finished our thank you notes, she sent us the artwork that she had created beautifully framed as a gift.

It was amazing to work with Ashleigh and her staff. They were personable, prompt and extremely creative. I was so overwhelmed looking at sample invitations. My friend recommended Type A Invitations and I am so thankful she did. She took our vision of a classy music themed wedding and completely elevated it. Our guests could not stop raving about our mixtape save the dates, vinyl invitations complete with an album cover and she did our signage for the wedding day. From the beginning, working with Ashleigh was a complete pleasure. We initially hired her to design our wedding invitations. Because of her outstanding work, we hired her shortly after the invitations were delivered to us to design and print our “day of” items, which included place cards, escort cards, and table signs. We met her twice at coffee shops in the DMV to discuss our desired themes/ color schemes and then to hold a printed copy to finalize the paper used for printing. We set a tough timeline for ourselves to mail out our invitations, and Ashleigh easily met that timeline. We could not thank her enough for her quick responses to our design tweaks and questions, which, unfortunately, occurred over the Christmas holidays (Note to Others: Please do not do this to her again!). Ashleigh also uses a great program to display the agreed upon timeline so we knew when we needed to provide her information and when her revisions will come to us for review. For the first drafts of the invitations and “day of” items, we were shocked at how close to perfect they were. The design we had chosen, the positioning, and font were so beautifully done. Ashleigh is incredibly gifted with designing while still keeping the items functional. We received MANY compliments about our invitations once our guests received them. Ashleigh packaged the final printed items so carefully and thoughtfully. For the “day of” items, she grouped escort cards and table place cards by table, which made it very easy to set up the day of the wedding. She even hand-delivered our invitations to our apartment’s front desk to ensure they got there safely. The box was so beautifully addressed and designed on the outside that our front desk security guard seemed hesitant to give us our package! We spoke highly of Ashleigh to all our friends and family and would encourage anyone seeking specialized stationary or designs to reach out to her.
