Using this venue was the best decision I made during wedding planning! They made it so easy on me and the property is stunning. I could not have asked for a better experience!

Twelve oak was the best place possible for our wedding. Between the tremendous help in planning and the assistance in the smooth running of the day, we could not have asked for better help. We are so thankful for this venue and the staff.

This venue has many beautiful options for the ceremony. They offer small wedding packages that won't break your bank. Kevin and Debra were so pleasant to work with and made the day phenomenal!

Kevin and Hannah are both very professional and extremely easy to talk to. The tour was absolutely beautiful and they addressed questions i didn't even know i had. When i came up edith questions they had immediate responses and are always willing to meet you if you wasnt to view the venue again. So far i would highly recommend checking them out!

The venue was fantastic. Everyone was awesome. Lauren day of coordinator was absolutely wonderful. She made my mind at ease.

We made the best decision when choosing Twelve Oak for our big day! For our Fall 2025 wedding we ended up using Twelve Oak Estate as well as their bartender/alcohol package, audio guestbook, day of coordinator (Jo & Co. Planning), and DJ (Events by Snow). All of these vendors were top tier. We truly could not have gotten through the day without Josie from Jo & Co organizing/setting up and Kevin our DJ kept the night moving flawlessly with great music. My only recommendation would be to book any add ons when you sign your contract - We decided to add on alcohol after we secured the venue and ended up having to pay more due to a change in SC liquor laws (not the venues fault but also wasn't clearly outlined anywhere). Our day went perfectly and we even had Bradley from the venue helping out on the day of to assist elderly guests using the golfcart, directing traffic, and ensuring our ceremony wasn't interrupted. We can't recommend this venue enough! Be sure to stop in for a tour and see everything they have to offer. The packages are a great help and we didn't have to worry about a thing.

What an absolutely GORGEOUS venue! So perfect for our wedding!
The grounds are quite extensive with multiple usable locations for whatever feel you’re looking for. From a smaller intimate occasion, to the biggest of full blown events, the people of Twelve Oak Estate really came through on our Big Day!
They have a private luxurious Bridal suite upstairs for the lady-of-the-day and her team (large open room for dressing etc., a full bath with a large tub, mirrors etc) was just perfect for the girls to do hair, make-up, and have a mimosa or two to just relax before the ceremony.
Not to be outdone, my groomsmen and I had our own suite complete with video games, a stereo, and our own closed in porch...and being on the ground floor, there was no chance of seeing each other too early.
And our pictures!! We could’ve taken pictures here for 2 days and probably not used all the views! Plantation style home and driveway, beautiful flowered back area, wide open country fields, even a stable area for the rustic country feel. This place has it all as far as beauty and romantic settings go!
For the reception...how about a small airplane hangar! Big enough to fit all your guests, but small enough to keep the day feeling intimate...an available bar to serve your friends and family from, and of course the DJ stage and dance floor to keep the party going well into the night! Beautifully decorated and romantically lit, a custom sound system, a gazebo for the cake or sweetheart table, a wall filled with beautiful vintage couches serves as comfortable, yet intimate area to gather and watch the celebration or just talk with your friends...we could not have designed a better place to cover all the bases we wanted for our wedding! And the availability of their on-site DJ (Kevin Snow) was one less headache for us to worry about and really kept everyone having a great time on the dance floor!
The staff was courteous and attentive, but we hardly even knew they were there. Perfect at blending in while still making the place stand out for OUR big day. The admin coordinator sustained an injury about a month before our wedding day, so a lot of our paperwork had to be done quite close to our date, but they came through and everything was perfect!
We absolutely recommend Twelve Oak Estate for your wedding, or any event you may be looking to do honestly...it was money well spent for a very high quality day!

Part of the reason I waited to post this was I was worried they’d take my deposit if I did. First of all on the day of our wedding, the second I walked in the door (carrying tons of stuff), the first thing that was said to me was “do you have the deposit check?”. Now I understand that they need the deposit, however, the only reason they didn’t have it was because they were out of town at the time of rehearsal. At this point you already have thousands of dollars from me, can I put my stuff down? Secondly, when the ceremony was over the staff was incredibly rude about us getting everything out of the house, literally seconds after the ceremony. In my opinion, if you’re going to rent the space out then give some leeway on removing items from the house. We weren’t setting up camp we just had other major things to worry about. Not only was the staff rude about this but they hounded my day of coordinator afterward. They complained we left too much behind, which couldn’t have been a lot because we had so many people trying to get it done for them. They then proceeded to hound my day of coordinator until midnight or later about a white tablecloth they were missing. (She has tons of tablecloths and had no reason to take one and obviously our guests didn’t walk out with tablecloths.) Another thing that was partially my fault, but could have been explained better, is that in the contract it says you have to have venue insurance. An extra expense I found out about a week before because nobody told me. It was in the contract, so I will take some blame, but it was one more thing to worry about. Just pay for venue insurance and add it to the venue price so your new brides don’t have to worry. If you’re looking for a venue that you can count on all day, because they aren’t going to have another event anyway, this isn’t it. You will pay for essential getting ready time. While plenty of venues give all day access, this venue is watching the clock. They push their own photographer, day of coordinator, and DJ. That’s fine and we opted out of all except the DJ. He was fantastic, but near the end of the wedding Kevin showed up to do essentially karaoke during our reception. We specifically spoke to our DJ about what we did and did not want. For the owner of the property/dj service to show up and take over like that was not something we fondly remember. It is a beautiful property, but be prepared with very specific questions and expectations. Overall their staff made us feel uncomfortable, rushed, and to a degree unwelcome.
