The staff at Rivermarket was great! Maggie helped us and answered all 500 of our questions promptly. They handles all the little bumps throughout the day for us and the staff was so easy to work with. Great venue!!

I enjoyed my wedding experience at the River Market. However, please be clear with the managers about your catering. At the last moment, I was notified that my caterer had to complete many extra forms and go through a lot to even cater the event. I was notified of this one month before the wedding. Granted, I had secured the venue one year before.
It worked out, but it was a hassle that I didn't appreciate. Nor did I appreciate the suggestion to select a different catering company because of their "oversight." Overall, it's a nice venue and will be great for your wedding. Just be clear about the details of your agreement and any changes especially if you book in advance.

We used the Tuscaloosa River Market as our reception venue and it could not have been more perfect. The price is incredible compared to every other venue we looked at and their staff is so accommodating and easy to work with. The venue gives you an outdoor feel without having to have a completely outdoor reception. The views are beautiful on the river, which made for great pictures. We would definitely recommend this venue.
