Treebeards was such a wonderful wedding reception venue! April, who coordinates the private events, is a dream to work with and is very open about everything that is (and isn't) possible. She was determined to make everything we wanted happen during our reception, and it all went off without a hitch! The staff were all great and the food was amazing. Our wedding reception couldn't have gone any better, all thanks to April and all of the wonderful staff at Treebeards! I highly recommend them for any private event!

I only stumbled across Treebeards when I was looking for a caterer, I never considered using them as a venue, but it is such a great wedding reception venue for a small wedding!! I had about 100 guests.. maybe a few more 100-120.. I don't remember and it was the perfect size! It was a steal compared to other wedding venues/caterers in the area and the food was AMAZING! All my guests went back for seconds. Planning was extremely easy and April Williams was so accommodating. We were able to bring in a DJ and they had no problems. We loved the balcony, the bar, the fact that they keep a couch near the dance floor.. everything was perfect! I loved the character of the upstairs room. I brought in only minimal decorations for the tables and for a photo area. Can't say enough good things about Treebeards as a restaurant and a reception venue. I wish I could do it all over again.

This place is amazing! The food and service were memorable. We received so many compliments on our venue. Let April take care of your event! The waitstaff was also great.

Treebeards was amazing. I had my wedding reception here and April Williams made everything super easy and stress free. The venue is a restaurant that's open during the week for lunch. Many people don't realize it's available on the weekends for private events. The rates were so reasonable I thought I must be missing something. April was very upfront about what was included/not included in their rates. And talk about flexible - The menu options and bar packages can be as creative as you want them to be. The upstairs portion of the restaurant has a bar, a dance floor, and we were able to seat 145 guests without any issues. I can not begin to put into words how much fun we had and how pleased I was with everything.

We had our wedding reception at Treebeard's Restaurant, and couldn't be happier! We ended up having 120 guests, and the top floor of the restaurant was the perfect size for this number of guests. April, our contact person at Treebeards, was responsive to our requests and made sure everything went smoothly on the day of the reception. All of our guests raved about the food - they loved the shrimp etoufee and red beans and rice in particular. Although Treebeards might not be the traditional wedding venue, its many positive attributes won us over. The food prices were extremely reasonable, and the food itself was of high quality. The location in downtown is accessible and convenient. The historic building and the charming details of the top floor of the restaurant lent a great ambience to the reception. I would definitely recommend Treebeards to anybody planning a wedding! We are extremely satisfied with our choice.

We held our welcome reception/rehearsal dinner at Treebeards' Market Square restaurant the day before our wedding. It was GREAT! Leading up to the dinner Jolie at Treebeard's was the consummate professional. She always responded quickly to any questions that I had and she explained everything in a timely and orderly fashion. The night of the welcome reception when smoothly. The Treebeard's staff did a wonderful job helping my family set up the centerpieces. Everything turned out great! They definitely went above and beyond the call of duty!
