Megan was a complete pleasure to work with, very organized, and truly interested in our event. She understood when I wanted to stay within budget and helped me plan my event without pushing me into over budget decisions. She found a way to make it work while keeping in mind my first choice.
Very flexible and accommodating, very detailed. My guest LOVED her as she made everyone feel welcomed! It was the best vendor I hired for my wedding. I highly recommend her to all my friends and family.

I would not recommend. My husband and I planned our wedding in Southern California while living in Chicago. We hired a decorator/planner to make our reception beautiful and come together with ease. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the decor and the process was frustrating. Prior to signing a contract, Megan was very responsive and communicative. After signing the contract, her communication became poor. I routinely had to reach out to Megan multiple times before getting replies; sometimes it would take weeks before she would respond to my emails. She would also frequently re-request information we had already provided. I communicated our needs months in advance of our wedding, all within the bounds of our agreement. Two days before our wedding, she told me the chairs I had requested for the reception weren't available. I don’t believe she had even looked into booking/renting chairs until a few days before the wedding. Not a surprise they weren’t available.
Additionally, we paid an extra $1000 for "lighting". What she supplied was a few battery candles on only some of the tables. Not worth a thousand dollars. There were other small details, like the tablecloths all being creased. It's not hard to have a steamer on hand to remove creases. This was a distraction to me on the day of and still now in my wedding album. There were other things that were not handled well on the day of, but I see no need to continue. When planning a wedding and hiring a decorator/planner for $4k+, one would hope they would be detail oriented and professional.
