Before I got engaged, I spotted a ring at a local jeweler that I fell in love with. We and my boyfriend (husband now) went to look at it too. Turns out that jeweler only allows you to set their diamonds in their settings and their diamond prices were outrageous. I was a little bummed. When I thought about it, I realized that if I was going to get a ring with ornate hand engraving on it I didn't want another ring. So, my boyfriend caught the hint and bought me a solitaire engagement ring and we went on the hunt for the perfect setting as my wedding ring.

Thomas Joseph and Sons came up in a google search so we decided to see what they could do (contacted other jewelers too). Linda was very quick to respond that she would try to look for a premade mold that had what I wanted to save me some money. Within the next few days she sent me various pictures and links for these but nothing was quite like that ring at the other jeweler. After that was exhausted, she had a wax mold made of the ring design from the other jeweler. I was in love! The price of the setting was exactly the same as the other jeweler and we could put our own diamond in! Perfect! We proceeded with this and paid incrementally until the week before the wedding where the paid off the balance. Now I have one perfect ring that is completely unique and what I wanted to the T. This place made it happen

We got both my engagement/wedding band as well as my husbands ring here. They do a WONDERFUL job and really take their time with you. You can ask questions and they'll do whatever to make sure that you are happy. Small jeweler= much better service. It's nice that we have found a jeweler that we plan to shop with for the rest of our jewelry down the road!

Thomas Joseph and Sons is the only jeweler in Minnesota that I'd recommend. My husband purchased my engagement ring there and there was no doubt in my mind that we'd purchase our wedding bands there as well. We ordered our bands well in advance of our wedding day and he simply asked for some money down and we could pay them off whenever we were able to, as long as it was a month before the wedding. He also held the rings at the store until we picked them up the week of the wedding, for no charge. They always cleaned my ring before any shower or other big event and replaced one of the tiny diamonds that fell out a month before the wedding for no charge. Just a fantastic place and I look forward to all future jewelry purchases coming from there as well!
