David was thoughtful, friendly, professional, and an absolute pleasure to work with. We hired him in February for our June wedding after contacting several other churches and officiants that just didn't feel right. David was quick to respond to our inquiry and set up a meeting right away. He spent over an hour getting to know us, helping us with our processional, and running through his ceremony flow. He had some unique local touches to suggest for the ceremony and we were happy to incorporate them. He gave us many suggestions for readings and vows as well, and he made the ceremony formal, special, and personal for us. He sent us the whole written ceremony about a week ahead of time so we were able to make any edits and read through it so we knew what to expect. He made sure to remind us about the marriage certificate a few times and took care of mailing it out for us on the following Monday. We were so glad we hired David to officiate our wedding and would highly recommend him.

We knew we wanted to hire David after our initial conversation with him. He was extremely adaptable to the ceremony we wanted and asked so many questions to make sure he understood what we were looking for. He also provided suggestions for things we might add that we had not even thought of! Not only that, but he was genuinely pleasant to talk to and we could tell he had the type of presence you would want around on your wedding day.

When David sent us the draft of our ceremony a couple of weeks before our wedding, it was even better than we could have imagined. He fit in so many details that we mentioned and covered everything we wanted him to. The ceremony felt custom and perfect for us.

On the day of the wedding, we were hit with an unusually hot and humid day making it quite uncomfortable (it was an outdoor ceremony). Despite this, David remained extremely professional and delivered our ceremony flawlessly. We had many guests tear up during the ceremony and tell us how wonderful it was afterwards (even those who are more accustomed to 'traditional' religious ceremonies)!

From David's initial response via email when we were looking for an officiant, almost a year ago, we knew we were in good hands. He was super responsive, professional and very helpful. He occasionally checked in as the months passed to remind us to get our wedding license and to confirm the date, time and address of the wedding. On the wedding day, he was prompt, prepared and dressed nicely in a suit. During the ceremony his delivery was smooth and polished, well-prepared and just what we were looking for; not too long, not too short, non-denominational and uplifting and emotional. David was astounding! He put together amazing material and personalized it, he took care of sending the marriage license for us so we had one less worry, he was great with guidance and being patient with us knowing how nervous we were and trying to adapt to an ever changing mood of a toddler mid ceremony. There was not a dry eye in the house and I can’t thank him enough. The communication from day one to day after was incredibly important and he was there for every step and answered every question.
