The Wright Place

The Wright Place is a warm, elevated wedding venue designed for couples who want more than just a beautiful space - they want time to slow down, settle in, and truly enjoy their wedding weekend.

Located in Shepherd, Michigan, The Wright Place offers a three-day wedding experience with dedicated spaces for your ceremony, reception, and wedding party preparations. With access from Friday through Sunday, couples have the flexibility to decorate, rehearse, celebrate, and pick up their decor without feeling rushed through one of the most meaningful weekends of their lives.

Our venue blends rustic charm with thoughtful, modern updates to create a setting that feels inviting, polished, elegant, and personal. The reception space features crisp white walls, warm wood farmhouse tables, black Chiavari chairs, and a spacious layout designed to comfortably host celebrations of up to 375 guests. With our 12-foot wide marble fireplace, floral chandeliers, large foyer, custom bar, prep kitchen, two parking lots on-site, and two outdoor patios with a privacy fence, a pergola, and string lights, our venue has picturesque moments and convenience in every direction you look. Whether your vision is classic, romantic, timeless, modern, or naturally elegant, The Wright Place provides a neutral and elevated backdrop that allows your style to shine.

Couples also have access to two private getting-ready suites, each designed with comfort, convenience, and beautiful photo moments in mind. The Ivory Suite offers a bright, soft, and airy space with lounge seating, salon-style chairs, floor-to-ceiling mirrors, a styling station, coffee bar, changing room, private bathroom, and secure private entrance. The Sable Room offers a moodier, relaxed lounge atmosphere with a private changing room, bathroom, outdoor patio, and private entrance - giving both sides of the wedding party a comfortable place to prepare before the celebration begins.
